  1. You can check out @Swill's thread: https://www.hairrestorationnetwork.com/topic/54601-dr-feriduni-4740-grafts-and-aftercare/ He had the exact same outcome you are looking for. Buzz cut even after HT. IMO his results look great. Here's the official thread by the doctor's staff if you are interested https://www.hairrestorationnetwork.com/topic/58209-repair-case-performed-by-dr-feriduni-%E2%80%93-7495-fu-in-2-procedures/ There are some other results as well with buzz cut outcome. I think it was Dr Bisanga who posted these results but I am not entirely sure.
  2. Did he start finasteride after the transplant? His donor seems to have thickened in the latest photos. Can't tell if it's an illusion due to lighting difference or legit thickening.
  3. Also AFAIK, it's quite a well established fact that spanish men have more dense and higher quality thick donor hairs as compared to the average man. I remember reading a study about this few years ago. So results can be skewed if a lot of patients are spanish.
  4. @arussell Do you mind sharing more details about improved hair growth in patients due to exosomes? I watched some videos on YouTube that seem to be promoting it as a magical cure that can cause follicular neogenesis and regrow long dormant hairs? Can exosomes do that? Or they just improve growth for hair that is currently miniaturising?
  5. Do you mind sharing photos post-op 1st surgery and 2nd surgery? That would give everyone here more perspective on how much difference there is between the results Dr posts on his channel vs other results. More realistic perspective into the doctor's skills and the specialised FUE technique he uses.
  6. It's absolutely heartbreaking to realise that your doctor treated you as a money minting machine and did not consider how much a bad result would affect the patient's mental health. As it is, balding destroys men's confidence and putting in all the effort and hard earned money only to have a poor result really weighs down on the person. I have been there @rocknrollman, so I totally understand your frustration and agony. Hang in there and don't let this affect your health or sanity. If the result doesn't turn out to be good in the end, you can consider a repair procedure in the hands of ethical surgeons.
  7. That looks great. Can't see any visible scarring. Do you mind telling me how much did Dr. Feriduni charge you per graft and did he charge anything extra for the repair part of the procedure (i.e. graft removal etc.)?
  8. Thanks for your sharing your perspective everyone. But my primary concern is whether using minox on transplanted hairs might affected them in the long term? We do know that non transplanted hairs become dependant on minox and fall out when you stop using minox. What about transplanted hairs? Will they be affected if we stop minox after a few years?
  9. But AFAIK, hasson and wong actively discourage patients from using minoxidil at all. According to them minoxidil affects the scalp laxity? I am not sure though. I just remember reading it somewhere.
  10. I have heard several reports here that Dr Hasson and Wong advise against using minoxidil and also ask patients to stop minox 3 months before transplant. I would like to know what's the consensus on long term minoxidil use? Is it safe to apply? Does the solution have capability of affecting transplanted grafts over a long term? Any long term users of minoxidil who have been using it successfully even after a hair transplant?
  11. Yep. 100% sure he went to some top doc like H&W. The hairline is impeccable. He was also really lucky that he did not have crown thinning and only lost hair in the front (atleast it seems so from his older photos)
  12. Great progress so far @Flash10 Can you please tell me how much of the procedure is performed by Dr. Hasson and what parts are performed only by the staff? Also what was the total cost of the procedure?
  13. I am also planning to undergo graft removal. Hoping for an update from you regarding the status of scarring.
  14. Holy shit! This is an absolutely amazing transformation and the result is soooo clean.
  15. Thanks for guiding me to the right thread @Shifty By first post, I meant this one.
  16. Thanks for the update. Your hair looks great. Could you please update your regimen on the main post so that it's easier to find?
  17. Thanks for sharing your experience OP. This gives me some hope I have similar questions like the person above. Are there any scars from the extraction on your forehead? Any pitting? If people look normally can they see any signs of scars? Would it be possible for you to share some closeups of the forehead region where repair was done.
  18. I took fin for 2 years and then switched to Dut approximately 2.5 years ago. I didn't notice any dramatic improvements with Dut. If anything, I may have lost some ground even on Dutasteride. Given my experience, I am wondering if Dut is really worth taking? Should I switch back to finasteride? And will I lose significant ground if I make the switch?
  19. Fin (and later Dutasteride) as well as minox didn't really slow down the progress of hairloss for me. Right now I am taking Dutasteride daily and applying topical minox daily. I am thinking of going on a month long or 2 month long break from the meds and then switch back to fin from dutasteride after the break. What are risks associated with such breaks? Will I lose hair irreversibly? I don't know if it's really a thing but my thought is that I need to flush my system of all the medicines and start again. Maybe a stupid idea but worth trying if risks are low?
  20. I had a similar experience which has left me depressed and locked in my home for years. Once I can afford a repair I'll post pictures of my terrible hairline and crown work too. As a young guy it can be tempting to believe surgeons because you are so desperate to overcome baldness. But there are a lot of unethical surgeons out there who'll butcher you for money. Better to do your research and go to a honest surgeon.
  21. Recently came across this article in Nature journal: https://www.nature.com/articles/d41586-020-01568-2 It talks about a major breakthrough in regenerative medicine. While current hairtransplants can already produce some remarkable results if done right, I am wondering how much of an impact regenerative medicine could have on people without strong donor regions. What do you guys think?
