  1. How does ur whole hair seems so thick n high , with just a hairline transplant ? Did the native hairs also grew thicker or something? That’s what I notice with transplant , before the whole hair looks flat n thin when they hand frontal recession .. then with just a hairline transplant , it seems like the whole head of hair seems nice n thick .. .. Is this the normal outcome ? It’s what makes me want to get a transplant .. right now I’m a Norwood 2 .. losing that frontal hair has made my whole hair seems flat n ugly. So are u happy with ur transplant ? Any lingering redness ? Or bumpy skin ? U lookin great again now , before u looked average .. now u a good lookin man again , congrats
  2. So do u think finasteride will thicken his hair diameter ? What are his chances? Especially since his hair loss seems to be minimal at the moment , he still has a lot of hair to save .. - also how fast do u think he would go bald without meds? N do diffuse thinners like with him mimnimal recession has a better chance to not be bald later in life ? I’m in the situation as him so any insight would be appreciated .. I’ve been on fin for 5 months now myself , n it seems to help the hair from falling as easily , but I still have hair fall when I run my hands through it . At this rate I feel like I could be bald in 10 years .. even though I’m 38 n a Norwood 2 with no family history of baldness that I’m aware of ..
  3. I think the techs had difficulties with ur hair since it’s curly .. since the doctor didn’t do the extractions I think u had a high transaction rate .. I feel for u .. u paid good money for a top doctor but u just got the name n not his work ..
  4. I have a consultation with him next month .. just to my hairline I’m still a Norwood 2. .. what are his costs now ? 8$? Did he do a miniaturization test to see where we would go bald ? Did he measure hair caliber? Stuff like that.. whatever information u have please share .. also did he do the extractions ? Was he hands on n did most of the work or did his techs do it .. I’m nervous heading into my first transplant .
  5. Ur hair looks good .. n will get better .. what’s ur update ? I have a consultation with diep next month .. how u feel bout him n his clinic ? Would u choose him again ?
  6. Happy for u .. looks good .. so much better than Having a hairpiece..
  7. Damn ur hair looks better than I thought with that toppik .. looks pretty good on that 2nd pic .. go get surgery with a good doctor .. I have no opinion on docs .. u have to do that urself,. But yeah I think another tranksplant will help u a lot .. I can see some problems since ur hair is diffused thinning.. so get someone that can implant more hair without causing too much shock loss into ur current hair.. but u have hope though . U have an outline of a nice hairline .. just need to fill In current patches of loss hair.. I think u be just fine .. best wishes to u ..
  8. But yeah 6K seems about right to make u feel more comfortable in ur own skin ..
  9. Ur situation is really difficult..’ .. ur nowrwood is really high.. what r ur expectations? I think u can get decent coverage, since ur donor seems average . But I’m not sure , u used quite a bit onto ur frontal area already . N didn’t get good coverage.. sometimes it’s better to shave it all off than just have ugly hair ,.. u have to make effort n see a good recommendend doctor n see what they can do for u.. if I was u personally , I be fine with it. We all gonna get older n eventually going to look unattractive with or without hair .. once we get older , we be graded on a curve
  10. My hair is very similar to urs .. don’t waste any more time ur hair is miniaturizing each day .. hop on fin ASAP .. I’ve been on it for 5 months now .. side effects are minimal to none .. I grew back some vellus hairs on my hairline so I know it’s working .. or those hairs would of been lost forever ..
  11. Glad to hear u liking ur transplant now .. happy for ya
  12. He does good work .. saw some good reviews from patients on here .. I just assumed he was always coalition member .. I would consider him for a transplant ..
  13. I understand exactly what U saying , not wanting to be dependent on medicine to keep ur hair .. I’m a Norwood 2 , with a full head of hair , n I hate taking meds for anything .. but I look forward to taking my propecia every morning for the last 5 months now ..’it’s the only thing I know scientifically proven to help my hair from thinning out .. cuz it’s getting thinner easier to fall off , I’m like u with diffused thinning all over the top scalp .. but I’m 38 with a full head of hair. N stressed out just like u with the inevitable hair loss .. hop on the medicine to retain what u have before it’s too late, before ur hair miniaturize even more n eventually u get bald areas. ur aggressive hair loss at a young age is an indication u will be a high norwood. Whether u accept it or not u going to need medicine to slow it down .. once ur hair gets too miniaturized it be too late for any medication to help u.. u be stuck with doing smp every two years or be on the hairtransplant train every few years to not look bald.. medicine won’t prevent that from happening , but it will help u not do it as often. I regret not staying on propecia 3’years ago at age 35.. trying it for only 4 months .. when my hair was still thick .. my hair hates me for it, cuz they thinning out n dieing 3 years later.. so I’m back on it n planning To stay on propecia for the rest of my life until they make something better wish u the best man
  14. Average donor hair in the back is around 8k. From reading a lot of posts n researching ., 3K to the frontal third region would already provide good coverage for a Norwood 3 ., so unless a doctor fuk up ur hair n waste ur grafts .. I think about two Transplants would give u great hair .. 2-3k first transplant will make u happy . Then wait it out till u get older n have more native hair loss then u can go for ur 2nd transplant another 2-3k hair to fill in the density n other bald areas, u should be satisfied .. save a few thousand grafts for future transplant as u age ..
  15. Ur hair doesn’t look too bad. Post some pics of ur frontal region so we know what u need to get done .. I think U right , if u were to grow ur hair out longer ur hair would look a lot better than what it is now .. so u have hope for good enough hair. I’ve seen pics of people that had a much more advanced hair loss n they got good results .. makes me kinda jealous , n I’m a Norwood 2 ..
  16. It looks like ur balding crown area stretches to the back of ur head .. but that’s okay , that’s usually not the safe zone .but what it does mean is that u have less donor hair available to work with .. at least u don’t have dupa, where all of ur back n side hair will be miniaturized .. but as of right now u still have options . Just be conservative on ur hair transplant n not waste all ur donor hair on one area .. I think u n ur doc needs to come up with a master plan .. either have full coverage with less density .. or a lot of density into ur frontal third n let the crown area go bald .. be realistic with ur expectations n be smart n work with what u got .. n be wise in choosing a good doctor .. with ur limited donor supply u can’t have a doc waste ur donor hair with a bad transplant .
  17. It depends on ur face , if this hairline suits ur face it be fine .. but it’s better if the widows peak isn’t so sharp , it will look weird . What was ur natural hairline before ? Try to get as close as u can to that . That’s the ultimate goal .
  18. Oh yeah one more thing.. the doctor can give u hair .. but it’s up to u to know how to style it n make it work for u .. sorry if i comin off kinda negative .. but after reading other people’s experience on here that had failed transplants or didn’t get the yield they want , n paid twice as much as u n yet they didn’t complain , they just want a solution . N hoping for a better outcome the second time around. N . u over here complaining about a great result . With thick ass hair that u didn’t had before .. kinda makes me upset . Of course it’s not going to be perfect .. but u got a lot of yield with a good hairline at a cheap price from a top notch doctor .. what more u want ? Comb ur hair better n make it work for u ..
  19. Do u realize how dense n thick ur hairline is ? U had 3000 grafts , which means u were at least a Norwood 3 to 4.. U lucky to get that kind of hair in one procedure .. I’m a Norwood 1.5 heading to a Norwood 2 n 38 years old .. haven’t had any surgery but thinking about it .. I’m trying to get back my density to around what u got now .. be grateful n stop trippin.. u lucky u didn’t get a bad transplant or low yield , u barely spent Any money n got a full head of hair .. Dude I’m bout to spend $10,000 in the United States for around 1200 grafts on my hairline n it still won’t look as thick as urs.. don’t jinx urself n get greedy . Be appreciative u got a great result ..
  20. Hey it doesn’t look good .. sorry about your situation.. when I read ur first post I felt really hopeful for u .. u seemed like a good candidate , u were implanting Into bald areas, so less chance of native hair shockloss .. n the hair that u already had looked strong , hence is why u had so many 3 hair grafts .. so I felt u would get a great result .. - I felt most sad though , when in ur post u said u were patient n been waiting for along time before going to surgery . But finally decided to go under the knife , cuz once u cut , u cut! - n mentioned u might look back on this day 10 years later n be like what the heck did I do .. - think u jinxed ursself It was a bad sign when from the beginning on ur wash that u noticed a lot of the hair fell out , I think it wasn’t just ur shaved hair but also grafts that fell out .. - me sad to know that u going to look back n remember this day was a bad decision . Now it makes me worried myself since i was planning on doing a transplant myself this year , but now I’m nervous about going through with it .. — well all is not lost ,, ur hairline looks good n a second pass through will make things denser .. most people get a second transplant right away for more density anyways .. at least u chose an ethical doctor that’s willing to give u a full refund .. so on the bright side , it’s like u getting two transplants for the price of one .. best of luck to u ... keep us updated .. things will turn out well..
  21. Most definitely they messed u up on the first transplant .. no way did they transplant 3000 grafts .. ur hairline probably got around 1000.. n it didn’t grow either . At least they didn’t waste 3000 or uf donor hair.. ur 2nd transplant should get u better results.. best wishes to ya z
  22. Best of luck with ur 2nd transplant ... I’m still not sure what happened to ur first one .. It seems like they only transplanted into the hairline in the first transplant .. how come u got so much diffuse thinning on top afterwards ? It seems like u lost a lot of hair where they didn’t transplant into ..did they cause that much shock loss ? N lastly did u get a refund or anything ?
  23. I don’t think the results are bad n it will get better:. But ur density is not there because u r transplanting around 1500 grafts for ur whole midscalp.. usually that’s just enough to just do the hairline n temples dense packed.. if ur results aren’t to ur satisfaction then u can go in for a second round,, I think doctor Nader is conservative in the dense packing because he wants most of ur grafts to survive.. n since he is affordable the second transplant to get more density will really achieve the results u Want n u be satisfied .. he’s a good doctor but ur density u want can’t be achieved with 1500 grafts to zones 1,2, n 3, u need at least 2000-2500 for that .. I was quoted 1200 to the hairline n 200 to the temple points from other doctors In California that charges $8+ a graft .. just to give u an estimation of what to expect .. best wishes to ya .. keep us updated
  24. That’s a really dense hairline jean.. best wishes to ya with school n job n stuff later .. u be getting ur life started with a new fresh confidence ..
  25. Jeanldd had the same Norwood pattern as u .. but he’s Younger n did double the grafts .. so ur age isn’t the issue .. u had too few a grafts for a Norwood 3 case .. u probably experienced some shock loss into ur forelock so it appears thinner than it was .. but another procedure would thicken up ur hair. U still have hope, ur results aren’t great but not too bad for the amount of grafts ..
