Guess what though I had thick dense hair like that with a Norwood 1 hairline 3 years ago .. guess what I’m heading into Norwood 3 pretty soon .. once ur hair starts thinning it’s just a matter of time .. especially when u Caucasian , it can go pretty fast all of a sudden

Sorry about your failed transplants .. do u have any donor hair left ? U must be really depleted n still have a lot of scalp to cover:. Also about ur first doctor who in their right mind would only do 400 grafts with ur advanced hairloss .. With all these failed transplants maybe u should consider another routeiff u don’t have enough donor hair left .. also can u even shave ur head anymore ? Is ur scalp tissue damaged n bumpy ? It looks still red , and it seems like u lost more hair prior to the surgeries .. wish u the best ..

Also why do people keep saying that diep does double the punch size of other doctors .. he uses .8 , .9 and 1mm punches .. that’s the norm .. also he does slot of Asian hairs which is thicker in caliber , so .9mm seems to be his go to punch size..

Isn’t that the clinic in joes undercover YouTube video .. it’s a hairmill where u barely see the doctor . With a lot of patients in a day.. Do some research on here about that clinic. O only hear horror stories .. let us know how things turn out

Ur hair is growing well .. doctor nader does good work .. I like that he does most of the work himself and only do one patient a day .. only thing I can see he can improve upon is dense packing the first few rows of the hairline to make it not as see through .. those first few rows consist of mainly singles n doubles so it needs to dense packed really tight so it won’t be see through , but with enough skill n forethought to still have good growth .. that’s what separates a good surgeon from an elite surgeon..

What’s ur age ? N ur family history of hairloss ? N do u have pics of the hairline ? Ive been on finasteride for 9 months now so ur results gives me hope for retaining my hair ..

I sense snake oil .. there’s nothing that will regrow a bald head besides a hair transplant .. n why would people think that oils will regrow hair , if anything it will moisturize ur current hair so it be less brittle and not break off as easily .. but regrowth? How is the oil reversing miniaturization of hair follicles caused from dht? .. Also the op nothing against u , but u spent 4K for a package of hairloss solutions that gave u no results n now u advising others on snake oil n give them false hope n an empty wallet..

I agree with spanker in having some patience ..we in a hairloss battle .. it’s a lifelong war .. But I totally understand where u coming from .. honestly I think ur first surgery should of included ur temple points , so u didn’t have to go through this second surgery .. but look on the bright side , u have ur hairline n temple points filled out now ..ur 3 rd procedure should give u the density u want .. n ur crown seems to be intact , so u can focus on ur midscalp for that density u desire .. how is ur donor area looking ? How many grafts do u have left? N what Norwood were u befor the transplant ?

Hi thanks for sharing :. It’s appreciated when people past transplants post, I’m always curious how their hair is after a few years .. Ur past two transplant gave u good coverage of hair .. but where were they transplanted ? Did u lose transplanted hairs because one side has a lot more hairloss , n patchy bald areas in some places.. I’m sure u lost native hair throughout the years but did u lose Any transplanted hairs ? Ur latest surgery looks good .. should give u Good coverage .. Please keep us updated on ur progress , n let us know if u experienced Any shockloss , since u transplanted into areas that have hair already .. I’m worried about that myself when I do get surgery ..

What size punches are those in the video ? It looks painful .

I recommended dr diep because I know he can get the job done and I have an upcoming surgery date with him .. .. u really should wait things out till everything grows .. there’s no point of u chasing ur hairline n fast hairloss .. I was about to do surgery for 1400 grafts in December 2017 .. my hairloss just started being noticeable and I panicked .. a lot of the members on here advised me against doing surgery until I’ve stabilized my hairloss .. but I was going to go n do it anyways , until the clinic informed me 1 week before surgery that they want me to wait until I was on finasteride longer n see where my hair will stabilize .. At first I was very disappointed and kinda angry they canceled on me .. but six months later , today I’m very grateful I waited.. I lost a lot more hair during this time , hair receded more n gotten thinner .. now I I need about 2000 grafts .. I’m glad I waited , cuz I probably would of required another transplant soon n chasing my hairline .. I really only want one transplant , n hopefully in 5 years get another .. those back to back transplants seems really awful on the wallet n time n state of mind ..

I think u will get good results with a dense hairline .. but ur top will continue to thin,, so try whatever meds u feel comfortable with that works for u .. at least ur crown n donor doesn’t look too bad .. so best wishes to ya ..

R the patchy brown spots miniaturized hairs ? If not then I think ur donor is thick n strong enough for a decent transplant .. u do have some hairloss at the lower area .. retrograde alopecia.. but ur donor is a lot better than some others that had good results .. u be able to find a surgeon that be able to work with u ..

I’m crossing my fingers n hoping that finasteride works well .. I’ve been on it for 9 months now , so far side effects r very little .. the positive effects I’m. Not sure .. I was hoping that it will thicken up my hair since a lot of it miniaturized throughout the years .. but I still have a full head of hair but hairline is definitely receding to a Norwood 3 , with thin hair all up too .. it doesn’t look like I’m balding however ,, just don’t have that thick volume anymore .. so just like u I’m getting 2000 grafts to my hairline .. hopefully it will give an illusion of volume when the front is thick .. prophecia I’m hoping to help me maintain my hair .. but I don’t think thay research about it retaining base volume is accurate .. if the hair has already shrunk it’s difficult to get it back thicker again .. but hey it’s better than nothing .. I know if I don’t prevent the dht from shrinking the hair follicles imma be bald sooner than. Later..

Doctor diep will ..he be happy to take ur money n give u a good transplant .. that’s a why he always pushes for an aggressive hairline to get more money n also make u look ur best for the moment .. at the sacrifice of ur long term goal n potential future hairloss . . the conservative docs wants to minimize the risk n play it safe .. get a few consultations from other doctors however .. but if I were u wait until both ur transplants grow out completely , n hopefully u taking meds to stabilize ur native hair .. n see if u recede further .. u have less risk of shockloss into ur transplanted hair , so u should be able to get dense packing .. something That should of been done in the first place .. I don’t know why they didn’t do ur temple areas the first transplant .. 1750 grafts is not a megasession; 2500-3000 fue is a megasession nowadays .. it sux u had to go thru two ugly duckling phase already n still not satisfactory results ..

U probably going to the wrong doctor .. the clinic u going to is conservative due to ur current hairloss situation n also what they feel comfortable skill wise to do a decent transplant .. there’s better surgeons that can make the most of ur donor with the least amount of grafts .. u just didn’t find them . Don’t limit Urself to this clinic .: u spending a lot of time n money on a clinic thats not making u happy .. what’s the point in that ..

I’m giving u the same advice I’m giving myself btw .. hehehe .. Hairloss is a bi.tch . Never thought it would happen to me .. but it’s happening just got to deal with it n have a gameplan to make things not as miserable

Oh yeah .. there’s no need to try the RU thingy .. don’t wast time on non fda approved drugs .. If rogaine n finasteride hasn’t been giving u awesome results n they the only products fda approved drugs why would unproven snake oil or natural supplements be effective ? U have options for both fut or fue since u have decent donor hair n u not too bald right now .. It’s best if u search for top docs n get some consultations n see what kind of master plan is achievable for ur situation .. whether it be fue or fut.. which ever technique it is make sure that clinic specializes in it for best results

Yeah a hair transplant will help ur hairline n make u good for awhile . What is the hair caliber of ur native hair right now on top ? Is it thin n fragile? If it is u need to get back on finasteride to retain those hairs for as long as u can before they get thinner n the meds won’t be effective anymore.. I’m in the same situation as u but slightly better .. n I’m worried as hek imma bald , hair caliber is weak n smaller in diameter.. been on fin for 8 months now n it’s helping but it’s not reversing the miniaturization, my hairline has actually gotten worse these last few months on it ; but it would probably be worse without meds .. but no sides though so will continue to use it, I tried fin a few years too late however I thought about trying dermarolling also , but I doubt it if it’s effective .. from what I heard on the baldtruthshow.. . So ur options are to get a hair transplant to the hairline .. do the meds to slow down the diffuse thinning up top , n use hair fibers to cover thinner areas as u age .. cuz with diffuse thinning it’s harder to do transplants because u will still have native weak hair in areas giving the docs less space to implant a dense packing.
