  1. Hair systems seem like a nightmare to me. If the shaved look doesn't look too bad and you are ok with it then you have won the battle. I would shave and say screw this all. To be honest the biggest part of dealing with hair loss comes from within our heads not on top of our heads.
  2. Another impressive result from doctor Cooley especially with such a limited number of grafts.
  3. That's a really impressive change for you. Dr Yaman would be a solid choice his results look really good.
  4. I feel for you Rashid really do but without taking meds I wouldn't even consider surgery of any kind. I do not feel all is lost for you but it's a decision about taking the meds they are the difference.
  5. I totally agree with these statements about the hairline design of Doctor Diep. I believe he is among the best there is and it's what drew me to that clinic. Nobody does more for hairline design with fewer grafts in my opinion. He does amazing temple work as well and that is an area often overlooked. Even though I have posted a negative experience in dealing with this clinic I will say if I were going fue I would still choose him in a minute. I am saying this for two reasons. The first is his fantastic results. The second is the biggest advantage of fue is it's less invasive and you have less chances for problems vs fut. Most of the negative reviews of this clinic out there are fut related. I like Dr Diep I just wish he would improve the after care for his patients. There are reviews out there of patients worried about infections and folliculitis and they had to wait for a long time for a skype appointment or a phone call. That should not be happening. Anyone facing any problem related to infection should be addressed right away. I am not saying this to bash Dr Diep I just think if this one simple area would improve his clinic would be one of the best in the US.
  6. Good news. Wish you the best.
  7. A person needs to look for patients in person and not just ones a clinic provides. Do your work seek out patients. There are tons of deceptive pictures out there. One of the things that bothers me is when a clinic has the same few cases on their website for years. To me it screams they don't get consistent results .
  8. That's hilarious but true. This topic just like watching Nascar. Everyone going around in one big circle. After watching it you realize you wasted valuable time in life you will never get back.
  9. Anyone ever see an old Bill Murray movie called ground hog day? He is forced to live the same day over and over and over and etc... didn't think it could happen in real life but this topic is just like that movie.
  10. This is great advice and I agree with all of it.
  11. Look forward to your update at four months. Doctor Cooley does great work.
  12. Happy to hear you had a great experience. Doctor Gabel is a fantastic doctor with great patient care. He is not mentioned here enough in my opinion. You chose a great doctor and you will get a top notch result. Happy growing.
  13. Only reason I brought up the conversation about donor thickness is it's good and bad for each side. I have medium fine hair can have a nice hair line but my density will require more grafts. I wish I had thicker donor . Was wondering if it was a machine because it looks like some of the grafts might not have survived and that seems common in machine procedures and will make it look uneven. It's hard to tell if the doctor used all one hair grafts in the front as this would soften up your hairline. If he did not another doctor might be able to soften it up with more one hair grafts.
  14. There are two sides to the coin. Thicker donor gives more coverage but looks less natural up close. Thinner hair gives less coverage need more grafts but hairline looks softer and more natural. I am guessing you had fue and wondering does the doctor you went with do strip and fue or just fue? Just wondering where their area of expertise is supposed to be. If fue was this by machine or by hand?
  15. Not going to lie I laughed so hard when I read this post I had soda shoot out my nose.
  16. I meant worst case scenario was the link I posted not the op. I am not trying to bring him down . I am trying to show him what can be done if his loss exceeds to the pattern he is on.
  17. Pattern of loss can be aggressive . This is a worst case scenario but at least patient was happy with what little could be done. Drugs are the most important thing can strengthen donor hair. 18. That's hilarious and true. I do not expect that this is a cure but just wonder what doctors think about it. If it works and really not likely then the business we all know will be done. I think most doctors would fight this. Certain doctors like Dr Cooley are on the cutting edge of these treatments does tons of research and is in a class by himself I think a change in the hair transplant industry is going to happen but years away.
  19. The best doctor can not change your loss pattern. If you have a transplant surrounded by a lot of miniaturized hairs you will lose them. You will not be able to retain a 24 year old hairline for life. You need to be realistic and save hair for when you get older if that is even possible. Ht soon makes a ton of sense because you could lose all of the shrunken hair that has shrinked. By no means is this the end of the world but you need to be realistic about the future. Trying to get a 24 year old hairline is the worst thing you could do now. Stay on drugs for now meet with really good clinics. If someone wants to put a hairline on you like you were five years ago run. I have been there been promised things that are simply not possible . Easy to say you will not worry at 35 or 40 what you look like but you will. Be safe.
  20. Reason I ask this is while it seems great in theory it would appear that once a person had a transplant either fue or fut and had trauma to the scalp that this would no longer work . Seems possible on a virgin scalp meaning no surgery but both surgeries produce scar tissue under the epidermis layers and would seem to negate this.
