  1. Lorenzo, Erdogan, Feriduni in the top 3, and then Shapiro and Konior. Other notables are Bisango and Rahal.
  2. No some posters actually stated that the thread had backfired on the Dr and that it will cause him to lose business - blah blah blah. I kid you not
  3. Let me summize to the OP how this goes: - Dr #1 states that FUT is better and more popular than FUE because of something to do with the dark side of the force or maybe it was something about three forces... Ect ect ect - A whole bunch of haters come out and disagree with Dr #1. - Dr #1 pushes back - The haters fight back - The defenders join in - Dr #1 sticks to guns and pushes on - Haters start to get nasty - Dr # 1 calls everyone peanuts in the peanut gallery - 1 particular poster gets under Dr #1's skin - Dr #1 subtly finds a way of acusing this poster of being an illegal rep or secret agent or something like that of Dr #2 - Poster gets angry - real rep of Dr #2 shows up and joins in the fight - fight gets nasty - mods jump in and issue warnings - poster asks Dr #1 for an apology - Dr denies every making the accusation - man from London shows up going on about Dr #1 telling him 1 thing and someone else a different thing, some mention of a shampoo gets made - man from London gets nasty with Dr #1, but then throws in a compliment - Dr #1 likes compliment, so offers man from London a free MFUE - Man from London starts to say good things about Dr #1 and turns against the haters - Dr #2 arrives on the scene and engages Dr #1 in a debate - Debate gets interesting but escalates quickly - Dr #2 decides to post a video - Dr #1 tears the video to shreds - Dr #2 edits the video and blacks-out some key sequences - Dr #1 uncovers the cover-up and reposts the original video - Dr #2 gets angry - Dr #1 gets angry - Debate fades - Haters carry- on fighting - Defenders fight back - Dr #1 makes reference to retards - more people get angry - Dr #1 withdraws offer of free MFUE from man from London - Man from London gets angry and turns on Dr #1 again - man from London says bad things about Dr # 1 - Dr #3 joins the fight by making a post but then withdraws and deletes the post before disappearing into the sunset - Haters state that thread has backfired on Dr #1 and that he will now go out of business - Dr #1 laughs at the haters as business is better than ever - Debate fades - Debate turns to one about travelling for a procedure And here we are. Did I miss anything? So to the OP, do you really want to make us go through this again?
  4. Propecia brand name is an orange color with Propecia written on it
  5. I'm very interested to see pics of the scarring or lack of strip like scarring. That's what I struggle to get my head around.
  6. You are overthinking and over engineering this. I think the number one factor should be quality of results. If you can get the best possible results in Spain, then that is where you should go. If you determine that you can get the best possible results in both Spain and the US, then you factor in pricing and go with the cheapest. That was the point I was making. When electing FUE, the top FUE surgeons are in Europe, and whilst the likes of Konior and Shapiro may be on the same par in terms of FUE, they are ridiculously expensive. I emphasize with what HairJo is saying regarding wanting to sleep in his own bed after surgery, but if that is the sole basis he is selecting his surgeon without regard to where he can get the best results, then I wish him the best of luck. Let's say that he determines Dr Feller can get him the best FUE result, yet we know Feller charges $10 or so per graft, whilst HairJo also realizes he can get the same result for 3euros in Belgium. Let's say 2,000 grafts. When you factor in travel and exchange rate, he can still save $7,000 by travelling. $7,000 is a big price to pay just to sleep in your own bed no?
  7. He was actually trained by Dr Feller. I think he did some learning with Konior on strip removal, but Gabel was trained by Dr Feller for the most part I believe. That's how you know Dr Bloxham is probably going to be great.
  8. I've only had FUT performed, but I can assure you that there was nothing Barbaric about the procedure. The surgeons use a very thin single blade to cut the strip, and I do not believe that the incisions are that deep. All I felt was tugging on the scalp and absolutely no sharp pain. The one thing that felt brutal was that I felt a pool of blood dripping down my neck and shoulders during my 1st procedure. Didn't feel that during my 2nd.
  9. I was in Hawaii for a week during the early stages of my recovery. I made sure to wear the surgical cap along with a baseball cap every time I stepped outdoors. The umbrella became my best friend when laying on the beach. Was never in direct sunlight for longer than a couple of minutes at a time. It did suck not being able to surf and swim though. I did get a very nasty icy glare from the Rahal clinic when I told them my plans, but they were okay when I explained my gameplan.
  10. Then count your lucky stars that you do not live in Denver Colorado, the hunting ground of Dr James Boland
  11. To be fair to HairJo, Bill's statement is inconsistent. Although he mentions that HairJo is posting under multiple aliases, he said the IP address doesn't match any other user. If that's the case, then how does he know HairJo is posting from different user accounts? I think he is probably stating that HairJo is posting from the same location as other users, yet he can't prove it is the same person as the IP addresses are different. Perhaps Bill can clarify his statement because my head is spinning now - lol.
  12. You've got a terrible attitude bro, especially towards people trying to give you advice. Advice which you asked for. If you go back and reread my posts, you will see that my advice was to expand your search out of state, and I threw out a few names (unlike others who only ever throw out one name like HairJo does). If you don't want to listen to the advice, then don't, but no need to be rude about it. In addition, I have not bashed all NY NJ doctors, just stating my opinion that there may be some better options elsewhere. I'm actually a fan of Dr Feller and Dr Wesley's work. I had the luxury of consulting with Wesley in person, and thought he was the nicest and most thorough Doctor I met. Like I said, it wasn't Feller's work that was the reason for not consulting with him, it was his bedside manner on this forum, which should be the absolute last reason you eliminate a surgeon, but I did anyway. Got no skin in the game with my surgeon, and don't get any financial compensation at all. If you are accusing me of being a salesperson, then please substantiate your accusation. I'm just trying to help others by providing my own opinion. Like you, I live in the NY/NJ area, so can relate to wanting a clinic local. The reality is that if something goes wrong after 2 months, there really isn't much the clinic can do for you. Sure if you go in, they can inspect your hair, but I guarantee that they will almost always tell you to be patient and wait it out, the exact same advice the clinic will be able to give you if you send them pictures. So although I emphathise with you wanting a local clinic, my own opinion is that it's not as big a deal as you think. Good luck with Dr Bloxam or Dr Feller. Btw, when you got all pissy with me about my question re the consultation, I was genuenly curious as to which Doctor they were assigning you to. You keep mentioning Dr Feller, but as others are pointing out, it's now a Feller and Bloxham team, so was just wondering if you knew which one would be taking your case.
  13. Looks like HairJo posting as one of his aliases Bill was talking about? Seeing you know better than everyone, not sure why you even bothered asking your initial question seeking advice. Good luck nether the less, although you comment about not caring which Doctor you get shows your ignorance and shows you have not done nearly enough research.
  14. Did she tell you that you would meet with Dr Feller or just Dr Bloxham?
  15. So many grafts densly packed by the hairline king into a small area - you just know that this result is going to be killer. Congrats buddy! Love how Rahal didn't even have to extend the strip further to the front.
  16. Yeah I do actually. See my story below. I screwed up by limiting myself to surgeons in New York for my 1st procedure. If I could go back in time, yes I would have absolutely changed who my surgeon was. Would have definitely gone with a mega-session FUT with Rahal or Hasson. Luckily I came right for my 2nd procedure. http://www.hairrestorationnetwork.co...edure-fut.html
  17. I keep saying it - the benefits of getting the procedure with the best surgeon for your case should easily outweigh the concerns you have with having a medical procedure in another country. The top FUE surgeons are located in Europe - plain and simple. Not only that, but the cost in Europe is ridiculously cheaper than the cost of FUE in North America with the best. I think patients are insane to be paying so much for FUE in the States when the FUE surgeons in Europe are better and substantially cheaper. What possible concern could you have with jumping on a plane for a procedure? Just man up and do it.
  18. Yeah, I went directly for the Percopet, and stayed on it for the first 2 days. It definitely made a difference. As each cycle was winding down I could feel the pain, especially where the strip was taken. You'll be fine after 36 or so hours. I did keep 1 tablet for when they took out the sutures 12 days later.
  19. I looked through a lot of Feller's pics when I was researching and preferred Wong's crown work, Rahal's hairlines, and when it comes to transforming NW6/7s through mega-sessions, the bad man Dr Hasson is untouched. I do think that Dr Feller produces some very good work, but I actually never even bothered to consult with him in person as I was turned off by his bedside manner on this forum. I could very well have cut off my nose to spite my face, but have absolutely no regrets about who I landed on for my 2nd procedure. I do agree that Feller is putting out a lot more work than others, and he really does utilize this forum very effectively as a marketing machine and I think that his intentions are actually very genuine at times, but remember that its the quality of the work over quantity that counts, and like I said, I felt like I was seeing better hairlines from Rahal, better crown's from Wong, and better transformations by Hasson. In fact, can you point to a Dr Feller transformation that was better than SunnyCool's who had his procedure with Shapiro? Beauty is in the eye of the beholder I guess.
  20. The funny thing is that it is inaccurate to even be mentioning Feller without mention of Bloxham as they work in tandem now.
  21. Its more than just wrong bud, its called stealing. That practice is completely unacceptable and should not be tolerated. I have always felt that any business that engages in such a practice should be shut-down and the owner thrown in jail. When Dr Rahal performed my surgery, he estimated 2,500 grafts, and that is what I paid for. He ended up falling short and only getting 2,245 grafts. He refunded me for the 255 grafts he never harvested. If he had lied and told me he got 2,500, I wouldn't have known, but rightly so, he was completely ethical.
  22. Then you picked the wrong surgeon and team. If they feel that way then run for your life. If they have nothing to hide and are completely ethical, then there is no reason for them to feel disrespected.
  23. Don't limit yourself to NY/NJ surgeons. I did that for my 1st procedure, and deeply regret not having been more open to travelling. The reality is that some of the top surgeons are just not located in the NY/NJ area. Feller, Wesley, and Dorin are all very good surgeons, but they are just not in the class as the likes of Hasson, Lorenzo, Rahal. In addition, the NY surgeons are very expensive and you are definitely paying an unnecessary premium just because its New York. Dr Feller won't perform FUE unless you don't qualify for strip FUT, whilst Dr Wesley and Dr Dorin don't perform mega-sessions above 2,500 or so grafts. I went to Dr Rahal for my 2nd procedure, and the travel wasn't a factor at all, I got a much better price, and I believe am going to get a much better result than if I picked one of the NY surgeons.
