  1. Damn, that's really impressive. Quite a dramatic hairline adjustment for a relatively modest number of grafts imo!
  2. The work looks very nice. Though for the sake of comparison it would be nice to see some shots of the hairline post-op rather than just styled hair.
  3. I won't advise you on your decision because of course, that's not my place. Good to know that Feriduni is willing to handle things though. I wish you all the best, whatever you decide.
  4. You could use minoxidil at least, it's better than nothing if you're dead set against fin. Or as mentioned above natural supplements etc. I would be extremely cautious about undertaking a hair transplant without being on meds. If you're a NW 3/4 @ 25. I would say that's conventional wisdom and not based on any sort of divine truth that I, myself claim to know Also, I would definitely consider giving fin a try if i were you. The sides are real but it's very easy to get a distorted sense of how frequently they occur (not very often!) and how dreadful they are (I had watery semen for a week or two and no other side effects) when you read about them online. If you experience side effects, stop, they'll go away. Best of luck!
  5. Personally I do not think much of this result at all. I think lowering the hairline/pushing temporal points forward of a 28 year old norwood 5 is borderline madness. Too few grafts were used (I'm certain the logic for using that number of grafts was probably sound, though) and the end result, in my opinion, does not look very natural at all. Not one of Dr. Bhatti's better showings. That said, perhaps a far shorter cut would be more flattering and improve things. *Edited for punctuation only.*
  6. Isn't the point that, at this stage, you're likely not dislodging/losing a graft. Rather you're "losing" the hair that's attached to the graft.
  7. Score one for the good guys! Congrats, Vox.
  8. The doctor in Ottawa you're referring to is probably Dr. Rahal. He's recommended on here and you could certainly do a lot worse if you're intent on staying local No-one can really tell you if you need a hair transplant since frankly, noone needs one. It's elective, cosmetic surgery. It's difficult to tell from your photo exactly what your hair type is but I believe African-American type hair is more difficult to work with, though certainly not impossible and there are numerous patient results posted on here with that hair type that are very good. I'll leave it to someone more qualified to give you a full sense of what someone of your hair type should expect! My advice would be (as is common advice around here) research thoroughly, don't hastily book a surgery for reasons of convenience or you may end up dissatisfied with the results. Take your time, look at patient-posted results as well as clinic-posted (since these will naturally be invariably biased towards good results) and don't let cost/travel/convenience be the deciding factor in your decision if possible. Best of luck!
  9. Looks like a pretty sweet result for only 850 grafts but this presentation leaves more than a little to be desired
  10. I'm not always a fan of conservative hairlines in an aesthetic sense (not that this is overly conservative, mind you) but this is an absolute belter. This guy must be thoroughly thrilled with his result and as well he might! Top-drawer work!
  11. Already a significant cosmetic improvement and a good few months maturation/growth left yet. In a good position so far mate
  12. Have to echo everyone else's sentiments in wishing you good luck and agree that the hairline really does suit you! I think you and Dr. Bhatti made a good call there. Exciting times ahead, all the best David
  13. Hey Swoop, the work looks great and you're well on your way! Lmao @ that caucasian gene redness, I look forward to that if and when i get something done. Extremely fair complexion here, too
  14. Couldn't agree more Vox. The attempts to discredit on either side are becoming borderline ridiculous.
  15. When the mother in law gives it the thumbs up, you know it's a good result. Grats man, looking great!
  16. I'm not saying that you're wrong Tommy, because I couldn't categorically do so. That said, I think it's arguable that the vast majority of cases of people experiencing "increased hair loss" on generics are people who are predisposed to noticing even the slightest change in their hair (changes that may have been destined to occur regardless of which brand of finasteride they were taking). I would hypothesise that these anecdotal accounts are not truly representative of generic's effectiveness. It's pretty easy for one's mind to play tricks! That said, take whatever you're comfortable with.
