  1. Lookin good Rockz. I remember when you got the first one. This must have a been a piece of cake.
  2. Hi Rockz, Its good to see you back on the forum. Good luck with the procedure and I look forward to your updates.
  3. Hi Robrob, You are considering some great docs. I haven't met H&W or Konior but have seen pics of their excellent work. I do have experience with Bisanga. He will give you solid advice based on your goals. He does probably 70% fue and is also experienced in strip. In my experience, he will determine what can be done in your case and give you his opinion on how your goals are best achieved. Good luck with your research.
  4. Arrek,I look forward to seeing your results at 4 to 6 months. The color looks good for this stage.
  5. I have always heard that and can confirm its true. I'm at about 15 months and am still feeling new sprouts in the crown.
  6. Hi Mosd, Sorry for the late reply. I haven't taken any photos recently but I will try to do that soon. I'm at just order 14 months since my last procedure. I'm still noticing new stubble in the crown which for me proves that you can still see new growth well after the 12 month mark. I met with the doc last month to check progress and evaluate donor for the future if needed. I do still have some donor available. So, at this point I'm happy with my results but I'm keeping my eye on the lower crown and considering adding some grafts there. Thanks for asking.
  7. At two months post op, the hairs are starting to poke through the skin. This can cause pimples and irritation. Its hard to see from your pic though. Its never a bad idea to check with your clinic as others have suggested but based on your time frame its probably a sign of growth..
  8. Hi Paulygon, Nice result. Did you have grafts put in the lower crown? Its hard to tell from your post op pics but clearly its looking good now.
  9. Hi Baukiki, I agree with hairshopeing and would add that its normal for some areas to show growth sooner than other areas. 3 months is to early to make an assessment.
  10. Whispy, You raise some good points. When I was researching clinics, I had the same questions like who are these techs and how much will my result will depend on them. I think these are fair questions to ask the doc prior to deciding. Most of the clinics I consulted with assured me that the techs they use had been with them for a long time and had implanted millions of grafts. One doc even took me into his clinic, introduced me to the techs and allowed me to watch them work for a few minutes. You are also correct that techs are utilized more in some clinics than in others. I would imagine though that the various doctors have already factored that in when setting their prices. Levrais
  11. Hi Louis, I'm wondering where you're getting your Nizoral. It was off the shelves in the US for a while. Not sure why.
  12. Vanilla, Online consults are a great place to start. You can usually get quite a bit of information that way and start to put things into perspective.
  13. Congrats on getting it done Rem. I look forward to your updates.
  14. Good call. When I first joined this community in 2010 there were only a couple Bisanga patients posting here and he was not on the recommended list. His results, however, were and are amazing so I chose him for my HT work and have been happy ever since. He is my favorite doc and this is my favorite community so for me its a great fit.
  15. Wow. Im looking forward to seeing this result. I have a friend who had a few chest grafts and found that to be quite difficult. I can imagine that 850 was an ordeal.
  16. Hi Jobigood, The swelling is normal and should be gone by around day 5. I put ice on every few hours to try to speed things along a bit when I had my ht but it will go away either way. I have heard of a few RARE cases where the grafts grew without shedding and like you I hoped that would happen in my case. Since the odds are against it though, try not to be disappointed if yours shed as they will grow back.
  17. I agree with SadbutTrue. Have you talked to any clinics that do fue?
  18. I havent heard that before but was wondering. Ive been taking Lipitor.
  19. Hi Vanman, I remember when you were considering this somewhat less known clinic. Its look like you made a good decision. Glad to see that its working out.
  20. There is definitely scalp trauma during fue that can result in shock loss. Its hard to say for sure in your case without seeing what you looked like before and immediately post op. One month is quite early in the healing process. I don't think your pic looks bad and things will get better as you heal. How many grafts did you get?
