  1. hsrp10, appreciate the feedback. You are right, can not expect "wow" transformation and neither did I go for HT FUE expecting one. I was just looking to fill up my barren right side primarily. It was bugging me. As of now, I don't think right side has filled up and the hair even after 8 months seem "stray"/directionless. So I won't say I am happy. Procedure was done with the motorized/SAFE not by ARTAS.
  2. Hi guys Stayed away from the forum for good 8 months to avoid anxiety. I have attached my 8 month pics for your review. Just to remind - My main aim to go for HT was to fill up the sides. There were many who said I had a head full of hair and advised me against it but the sides and temples were playing on my mind. Some work on the front was needed to blend in the work on sides as advised by SMG. Would appreciate your feedback guys. You can see my pictures before HT here as well - http://www.hairrestorationnetwork.com/Rem/albums/2573 Thanks!
  3. To attack a guy like Mickey and that too personally, is a classless act and not to mention an attempt to derail the thread. I applaud Bill's decision to NOT lock this thread.
  4. Nick, I totally hear you...uneven end result can be a nightmarish situation (I am myself nervous thinking about an uneven outcome).....but to be really honest it is not looking bad or odd. At this stage, there is a big improvement in your appearance and I am sure it would look even more better if the densities on either side match but when I looked at the pics first time I did not see a huge difference b/w the sides.....let me say it this way "nothing jumped out as unusual" rather I was happy to see your hair growth. I know this period is unnerving for you and I will go through it myself very soon but man we have no other option than to hang in there.
  5. Very true. Talk with them first, see who you can work with, see who you feel confident about in terms of approach they recommend. Man, you will feel a world of a difference after talking to docs and their reps. Do not discount the fact that some docs might even "pass" on you for some reason....personal experience (some years back H&W did not take me up and they were right!).
  6. Bill, In every way this forum is great. Well maintained, well encouraged, well disciplined, abundance of resources. I have only once visited another forum and that too when Jenna sought my permission to post my case on that forum. But what has kept me hooked to the forum is the freedom of speech with which members are allowed to air their views.....no undue censorship. Freedom of speech is priceless and most attractive to people. People love to flock to places where they can be heard....at the least heard.....things may not go their way but they hang in there with a hope. Beauty of democracy and freedom. The moment the freedom of speech is snubbed, people feel alienated and suffocated. Let it run its course and if it has already, it will fade away on its own. I would urge you to reconsider your decision to lock this thread.
  7. I remember your case. Best of luck buddy. Is it with Dr. Ron or Dr. Paul?
  8. If HG asked for an "aggressive hairline", Dr. Umar need not necessary comply with it. It is expected of Dr. Umar to guide him that an aggressive approach is not the best approach knowing that future hair loss is unpredictable. Dr. Umar could have passed on him if HG did not agree with his approach. No doubt Dr. Umar has hit many home runs, but this one does not seem to be one.
  9. One of the things I have observed over time about Dr. Umar is the presentation of his work - very well lit pictures and detailed videos. Can we see at the least see some pre-op/post op pics from Dr. Umar's clinic in this case please.
  10. Fueonly, are you questioning the credentials of Mickey???!!! Are you comparing yourself to him?!! You've lost it man.....
  11. Agree with Mickey, let's not assume anything and let's stay away from the blame game until all the facts, pictures and details are out.
  12. This is turning into a mockery. I do not understand the delay in posting immediate pre-op and post-op pictures. "A picture is worth a thousand words".
  13. Denny, you are a helpful guy and I hope better luck comes your way soon.
