  1. I'm not sure I've seen a ht so undetectable at one month. Looking good.
  2. That is a nice result. I think the only difference between that and one of their strip procedures would be the lack of a linear scar. I haven't seen many SMG fue results but the few I have seen look good. Dodger comes to mind as another one.
  3. I agree with icecreamman, I'm not sure that this result could be duplicated at all. Its way above average to say the least
  4. Most people on here would love to have a head of hair like yours. It looks good to me. There is a certain amount of maturing of the hair that happens around your age where there may be some thinning but doesn't necessarily mean you're balding.
  5. Magnum, At the consults I had, the doc would first get an idea I what had in mind, then after looking at available donor and areas of loss etc, would draw a suggested design and give a graft estimate to achieve it. Then he gets feedback and makes adjustments. This process should take place again on the day of the procedure to make sure that both doctor and patient are clear on the goals.
  6. I'm glad to hear that your ht accomplished what you wanted it to. It seems to have worked out perfectly. I've never used conceals but from your description, the ht is the better option by far. All is good here, no real change since my last update so I haven't taken any pics recently. I do have a couple areas that I will get touched up and plan another pass on the crown later in the year.
  7. Hey Cap, Your density is amazing. Do you have an estimate of the yield percentage? 100%?
  8. Hi Pip, From what I have seen, in many cases there isn't white dotting from beard fue. That is assuming you go to the right doc who is using the appropriate punch size. I've seen a patient who had 1400 beared fue and I could not see any sigs of it. I'm not sure why beard hair takes better than other body hair but I have heard the same thing.
  9. Best of luck to you Mb30. Have you ever tried the buzzed look before?
  10. Jimmy, I had lots of hair grow in areas where there were no pimples. I don't think it a problem.
  11. I wish Dr Bisangna was on this forum. He has been asked to join. My guess is that he simply doesn't need to. He is always booked out for months even without the expense of joining. You can see more of his work on some of the European forums though.
  12. Its hard to get good honest feedback and kids are sometimes good for that. I know the look she is describing but your pics don't look that way to me and I think the density is fine.
  13. Around your age its also normal for the hairline to mature where you lose some hair at the temples but it doesn't necessarily mean that you are balding. It doesn't look like you are receding to me. I would just keep an eye on it and take some pics every few months to compare.
  14. Keep in mind that most of the top clinics are booked out for a few months for the procedure so there is no harm in doing the consult before you have the money saved. In fact it would be a good idea to get a grafts estimate and other details in advance so you know how much to save for. They won't pressure you to book a procedure.
  15. Bisanga's rep Stephen lives in the UK and would be a good starting point. You could start with an online consult also to get initial impressions and build from there. How far is Brussels from you?
  16. Swayzedo, Bisanga is legit and his prices are very reasonable. I had 2 procedures with him. Feel free to check my results by clicking on my signature. Also, I would be happy to answer any questions.
  17. I know that even the top fue docs say that you can get more grafts via strip. However as for reliability I just haven't seen many failed fue at all and no failed fue from the top clinics. Unless I'm just missing them, it seems that the people posting poor results (admittedly very few) have had a strip procedure.
  18. Hey, I missed his reply before. Pretty close for sure!
  19. Hairshopeing, I found the treatment to be outstanding. The Doc and his staff are patient oriented . They are available for the many questions that come up after the surgery (and they will come up). Just a couple examples. Clinics will give you a few antibiotic pills as a precaution after the op. On the night after my first op, I misplaced the pills. Of course now I realize that it wasn't a big deal but at the time I was trying to follow everything to the letter. So, I left a message for the patient rep late at night. He called back within a few minutes and assured me that it wasn't a problem but so I would feel better he brought me a replacement antibiotic packet to my hotel in the middle of the night. After my second op, once I was back home, I was concerned about something and sent an email at what would have been around 4:00 am in Brussels. I was just sending it so that I might have a reply in the morning, however, the answer came within a few minutes. These things are not huge but are definitely a nice touch and will put you at ease during these little mini perceived crisis that will come up after your op. When you add that kind of patient care to the talent and artistry that Dr. Bisanga has, it makes for a good experience. As for the results, I am very happy and no longer feel like someone who is balding. The work looks natural and as far as I can tell, no one has noticed that Ive had an ht. I got very few comments at all mostly that I look younger or that hair looks thicker, etc. I hope that helps and please feel free to hit me up any time you have questions.
  20. Hi Modenese, First of all, congrats on booking your HT. You have picked a good clinic and will be in good hands. I had 2 procedures at BHR. On the first one I flew home on day two. It went fine with no problems but I was quite worried about someone bumping into me or getting hit with a falling piece of overhead luggage or something like that. There are people who fly on the day after and I haven't heard of anyone having a real problem with it but I think its safer to stay put for at least a day or two if you can to protect your investment. I would not recommend wearing a hat for a few days. Depending on the type of hat and where your grafts will be placed, there could be a risk of too much contact with the grafts. The clinic will give you a bonnet sort of thing that you can put over your head. Its safe to wear but looks a little silly. On my first op I flew home uncovered but on the second a wore a bandana. If you talk to Stephen, he is an expert on how to properly fold and put on the bandana.
  21. Hi all, I just re-read the docs email and I think its pretty clear that he is saying he would do the next procedure but that its "also" ok to consider another doc. In other words he will do it but that he understands if the patient wants to look elsewhere based on 2 tries without success.
