  1. The shedding of native hair is definitely not a good feeling but its apparently normal. The itching will gradually go away. I found that trying to ignore the itch is better than rubbing the scalp. In my case the itching seemed to increase after touching my scalp. As others have said, things will turn around in the next weeks. For me, I turned the corner around week 15. Hang in there.
  2. Hi Corv, good to see you back. I'm glad you went for fue this go around. I'm looking forward to seei g your results. I went for #3 as well a few weeks ago so as usual we are on the same course. That's great about your encounter with the model on several levels. It would have been interesting to see what she would have said if you asked her out.
  3. Hi Sebastian, I'm looking forward to seeing your results. belter - definition of belter by the Free Online Dictionary, Thesaurus and Encyclopedia. 1. an event, person, quality, etc., that is admirable, outstanding, or thrilling a real belter of a match. 2. a. a rousing or spirited popular song that is sung loudly and ... 4. [quote name= @Levrais- Thank you, if I am ever by the east coast I will shoot you a message and see if we can meet. Your results so far looked amazing too, if I remember right you had 4000 prior to this surgery correct? Minimal white dots as well from what I could see. Congratulations!! Yes 4,000 prior to this procedure. Good luck with your decision. I look forward to seeing what you ultimately decide.
  5. Hi All, I few pics to show where I am around the 2 week mark. I think it would be undetectable if not for the temple points being red
  6. Luckey, I haven't seen enough Rahal fue results to comment on him. I have had fue at BHR and would be happy to answer any questions that I can. Also, we're not very close geographically but if you are ever on the east coast, I would be happy to meet in person.
  7. If you get scabs, they will probably still be there at day 5. Some people don't get scabs. Also, if you have some native hair in the area it may all blend in together and not really be visible.
  8. Julius here is another one a little closer in
  9. Thanks Julius, here is a hairline pic with hair pulled back taken outdoors a few months ago
  10. Hi Newguy, Congrats on taking this big step. From what I've seen, you chose a solid clinic. I'm looking forward to seeing your pics and updates
  11. Hi All, I have gotten a few questions about my donor area and white dots, etc. The first pic below is my donor shaved to zero 16 months after my second procedure i.e., after 4,000 fue. The picture following that is my donor prior to any procedure. Interestingly my virgin scalp has white dotting. Perhaps from acne as a teenager, who knows. Comments welcomed.
  12. Hi All, I took a few pics to show where I am at day 8. I'm going back to work in 2 days
  13. Thanks for the encouragement Chris. Fingers crossed as usual.
  14. @ Can't decide, thanks for the comments. The area you're talking about on the right side is where I had a swirl. I didn't ask the doc how many grafts were placed in each location but I wish I had. My fairly confident guess is that about 300 went into that area and about 1,000 in the crown overall. I agree that this area can make a big difference since it can be seen from the side. Have you set a date for your next op? @ Stinger, thanks. I have worn my hair as low as a 1 guard on the side and back but most of the time I go to a 2 and fade up as that is the style I like best. However, if I wanted to shave it to a zero it would look fine also (at least prior to this op anyway). As for the fue technique, I know several people with high numbers. It seems to work best broken down into smaller ops but otherwise not much difference imo. I didn't ask this time how many more grafts I have but I would imagine that I could get a few more if needed but probably just a few hundred. I also had a few beard hair fue and have plenty of those left if needed. I didn't ask about punch size this time, but I did during one of my prior ops and I think it was .75 or .80. He uses difference sizes for different things but generally they are small.
  15. Hi All, I decided to go back for my 3rd fue with Dr. Bisanga. The goal this time was to fill in a few weak areas in the frontal third and temple points and to add some density to the crown. I had a few people tell me that I didn't need to do it as I had plenty of hair as is but since I came this far, I decided to put the finishing touches on. The main thing I wanted was to hit the crown again. Even though there was coverage there, it was more see through than I wanted. As expected all went fine. I got a total of 1656 grafts. Below are some pics taken at the clinic before and after. Please let me know if there are any questions about my procedure or my experience at BHR.
  16. Juice, If I were you I would schedule an in person consult with a few docs to see if you are a good candidate for ht. That is the best way to find out if its going to be an option for you.
  17. I used a combination of aloe vera gel and vitamin e oil which seemed to work well.
  18. Buz, the donor will probably look fine after 7 days.
