Patience my friend. You’re already so much further than most at 3 months, so take that as a positive for sure.

What dosage oral Minox are you taking? Doesn’t surprise me your doc prescribed it to you, as I know it is very popular in Brazil.

I think 2.5 something.  There’s a 2 and a 5 haha.  I can check later.

Here’s another guy who had his transplant at a second clinic from same doctor (not done by doctor, but a doctor trained by him).  This is his 5 months 12 days progression:

Edit: these aren’t pics from the clinic, just a guy im following that had his transplant.

And how have you been finding it, positive experience?

Considering you’re also using viagra and cialisis, that’s a lot of vasodilator action going on in your body right now haha

Honestly, didn’t feel any different after the first 2-3 days (my skin around my body, not just face, was quite pink).  Only real difference was that erections were more common randomly and it was harder to finish during sex (less sensitive?).

The Viagra and Cialis were for 3 months, so I just got off them.  Now I’m only on oral minoxidil.  I’ll probably stop using it once I get full results.

Yeah, experience has been quite positive, absolutely love my new forehead size.  Can’t wait for it to be imperceptible.

Just a quick update.  3 months, 23 days.  I’ll do a more detailed update at 4 month mark in a week:

Damn bro! Don't think I've ever seen a result this dense this fast.

Whatever happened to the really short strands of hair that neither shed or grew the first month? I have a considerable amount of them myself. Also started worrying about them being dead or something..

The short strands are almost all gone.  Very hard to find any left.  I don't know if they fell out or started growing.  I had a really big growth spurt so no idea which hair strand is which anymore.

And yeah, density is looking quite solid.  I'm pretty sure if I cut my hair properly, it would be hard to tell.  Though it's not quite as dense as my natural hair yet, but that's to be expected at under 4 months I guess.

Looking like a rock star already, Congrats

Thanks man.  Yeah, growth has been very on point.  Quite happy with how it is turning out.  Here's hoping by  month 6 it will be unnoticeable.

Cut my hair today.  2 days to 4 months total (3 months 28/29 days)

Here are some pictures in sunlight:

Here is a picture indoors with hair pulled back to show hairline density progression:

I think even at much shorter lengths, the surgeon nailed the temporal points direction and angles.  Looks natural to me.  In second photo there’s a tiny little gap of lower density, maybe hair that had shock loss, maybe ungrown grafts... maybe permanent gap.  That said, I think it is minimal and not a big deal.

So far I can say I am very happy with the progress for only 4 months.  Can’t wait to see how things progress in the next 2-3 months!

Let me know what you guys think!

As I mentioned before, I’ve been taking Cialis and Viagra for 3 months as part of my post op to maximize skin bloodflow.  Just finished taking it yesterday.

That is quite an sacrifice for a young man, i once took half of Viagra out of joke and it was quite painful and exhausting experience for me and my ex-gf....after two hours i was praying for it to stop.

Haha, honestly, was only getting strange random boners the first few days.  After that, all it affected was the threshold for boners.  I'd need less arousal to get one, but I'd still need something.  Also finishing became really difficult.

Thanks man.  I'm not just waiting for it to get as dense as my natural hair so that it can blend in properly.  Mostly the frontal hairline is still thinner.  The temporal peaks though feel pretty decent already.

So today marks exactly 4 months.  But I put pictures 2 days ago, so figured no point in another super detailed post.

One thing I think I did not post was showing hairline with hair up in sunlight (showing hair roots).  How much more density do you guys think I should expect compared to this?

If you look at the density of the little pores (non hair bearing ones, the ones underneath your hairline) on that last photo it is very close to the density of the hairs that have already grown out. More starting to emerge and thicken too. Looks awesome for just 4 months!  I’d be elated with that as my final result, but then again I am less than half your density.

Putting such high density is risky in a single procedure due to all the grafts competing for blood supply. Hopefully you’ll be fine, but it’s entirely possible you could end up with the same amount growing as if you’d done half the amount. Hopefully I’m wrong. I’d put a guess in that it’s Rahal?

Has Rahal have any bad results recently? I had FUT with him 2010. My results is undetectable hairline. I was gonna pick him but too expensive for me. I opted for Dr Cortez Tijuana for more hairline

Nice results. That guy you posted that you're following has been bought back from the crypt! Hairline looks spot on!

Thanks.  I’m nearing month 5, but honestly the growth from 4-5 has not been very dramatical, so not sure if I’ll post.  Maybe I’ll wait for month 6.

I hope this is not a sign that my growth is almost done at 5 months... as that would be somewhat disappointing.

Very unlikely a final result occurs at 5 months - even for the fastest of growers.

It’s totally normal for post transplant hair growth to come in waves, usually people notice a big difference when the sprouts start coming in . . And then a month or so passes and the sprouts are longer in length and thicker in diameter, resulting in another ‘wave’ of change . . . Then a month or two afterwards, further maturation often creates the final wave of noticeable change.

As you are seeing yourself day in day out, it goes without saying, it will also be harder for you to detect change.

But one day you’ll be doing your hair after showering , and it will just hit you, that your hair has totally transformed.

Have a look at Bisangas early growing cases on here from the last 2-3 years  (he often has patients on here posting quicker than usual growth) . .

Some look great at 4,5,6 months . . However even by months 10,11,12 they have notably improved.

Thanks.  Encouraging words :)

I think I’ll take some pics tomorrow and post my 5th month just to keep things well documented, even if changes are not dramatic.
