  1. Yeah, all good....not following hair restoration news anymore. It did changed my life on better, i dont think aboit it anymore, just do quick hairstyle in the morning and go do my day. Would do it sooner for sure! Dont expect head full of hair but it will determine ur hairline and face shape, it looks natural but not as dense as teen hair and im fine with it.....its like im loosing my hair but just slightly in density! Probably my last post here for a long time, my advice would be either go to skilled surgeon and do HT well, or just shave ur head to zero which also isnt bad thing to do.... Good luck everyone!
  2. Rolandas here's some "baldness cure" commercials using your videos. I hope you got paid for it! https://fb.watch/dCukvb2VPU/
  3. Hi all! It's been a month since i stopped following this forum as i'm already happy with my results even it's still quite early (4.5 months post op). Here i'll post some pics of wet hair (minoxidil wet), dried it looks way better even hair is short (2.5cm). In short before surgery it took me 30-60min to hairstlye my hairline to cover bald spots, now it takes me 2min😁😁😁. So i am quite happy with results even it has been only 4.5months after surgery even if it stays this way....but i hope it will get even better in a few more months. Cheers to dr.Ferreira, i should done this years ago!
  4. It is a 1660 grafts, techs do separate and count them under the microacope....there is no hidden bonus hehe I believe ~800 went to the first cm of hairline (15cm x 45-50 grafts) that was bald and rest of it to fill temples that already had some hair. Originally during consultations dr.B wanted to go with 2500 grafs over frontal third but i said we'll do only ~1500 to lower hairline 1cm and fill temples and rest of it in the second surgery in the future....once he saw my donor hair thickness he was wow this is thick it'll give nice coverage. So 2500grafts once reviewed in person may not be neccessary but it sure cuold fit some more, probably 500-600. My goal is to do it in small sessioms over time as it will go mostly unoticed, hairline is important and now that's done, anything behind hairline other hair can cover until next surgery.
  5. With my graft count, stage of baldness and hairstlye i wore before (plus hair fibers) nobody noticed anything now... But i noticed it goes quite better with girls now, even young girls in their early 20's are all around me now πŸ˜…....upper part of hair is quite fuller now and i add some fibers when i go out. If 90% of transplanted hair grows i'll dich fibers.
  6. I really hope so, upper part is more dense due to previous HT so i take this lower part as a reference since it was completley bald. In temples i laready had some hairs so it was just fill up, basically only completley blad area was this lower part of hairline. Also dr.B said i have really really thick hair, like a boar lol....so coverage should be really good!
  7. I also hoped that i won't shed much but i did, even some existing/preop hairs shedded in recipient area due to shock loss....but now at 3 months mark everything look way better than before surgery, from month 2 things started to improve nicely and keep getting better daily.....i applied hair fibers twice and it looked great, game changer already. I know you thoughts and feelings right now, hoping some hairs will stay in decent number as well time passing by slowly but that is only for first month or two, later you stop thinking of it, time goes faster once first hair sprouting starts.
  8. If i remeber right i also shedded the most from week 3 up to week 5. I also noticed some hairs shed long after, evwn they grew normally at first. From my case hairs/areas that shedded first also start to regrow first at 2months post op/a bit over month after they shed so i expect rest of the hairs will follow that pattern.
  9. I think of it this way; i lived with my bald temples and reciding hairline for years, so it isn't problem to live with it another 6-12 months! I contacted dr.Ferreira last year in april/may, after consultation i booked the surgery for November 4th so i waited ~6months for the surgery, but his assistant also offered me option to get surgery earlier if someone drops out. Seems there are ppl who will change their mind in "last minute" and cancel surgery or something else preventing them. So opting for top surgeon and waiting up to one year with chance to get it earlier is a ok situation imo. Money and waiting list of up to one year shouldn't be decisive factors in HT....natural look and donor hair are decisive factors!
  10. Growth and succes rate seems good! In ypur case i think those multis won't be noticable in hairline if ypu don't style your hair backwards....but still yeah singles in a hairline are crucial for natural look. Yeah for temple points he could use finer hairs from donor area closer to the neck. Dr.Ferreira used them for my first row hairline.....but even to him one double slipped to hairline which is no problem at all, i like it, like a signature from an artist . All other grafts seems perfect (at least for now) in hairline since techs were separating them under the microscopes.
  11. Looks great and there is early growth as it seems, a bunch of tiny hairs all over the place....
  12. After two fue ht, first one with cheap surgeon and poor results (luckly it was of small graft numbers) and second one with good doctor i can advise ypu only this; Don't go for cheap options, if money is problem rather go with good and more expensive doctor but with less grafts (do only hairline, and later when possible rest of it). Reason is your donor is limited and you want to do it right in the first run, your time is also valuable and can't be brought back (recovery and regrowth phase). Going with bad doctor can cost you money, time, donor hairs and appearance. Going with a good doctor can cost you only money! Try to squeeze as much money you can and do it right in the first run! Good luck!
  13. Curly hair is tricky to extract, high possibility to damage grafts even with best surgeons....there is a video on youtube about curly hair extraction problematics! I would pick only the best reviewed surgeons that have plenty of afro HT's under their hand! Good luck!
  14. I'm a bit confused, your hairline looks bloody fantastic and natural!
  15. Than i guess it stands out only cos recipient area still has redness....once hair grows and skin heals back to normal everything will be good!
  16. It doesn't count if you haven't banged something πŸ˜‰
  17. I was applying it once or twice a day, it helped a lot cooling skin and making crusts soft since once dried scrabs can feel annoying. It was mandatory thing i did before going to bed. Also nice thick layer of aloe vera i think of as an extra protection from external sources of bacteria or such. I was appling it daily for two months and still do occasiaonally.
  18. It's not completley gone, still visible under certain conditions but not quite noticable. Mainly noticable redness was gone after 1.5month. I noticed after applying minox or aloe vera gel it gets more noticable which should be normal since both boost bloodflow.
  19. Thnx! Those big ones are one that survived shedding phase and kept growing, for early growth i refer to small tiny ones that sprouted in last week or soo, pics are not of best quality but they are somewhat visible if zoomed....i guess in a few weeks difference should be more visible on pics. I know i post every nonsense i notice πŸ˜… and thread is not perfect but once i get pre op pics i'll make another thread in Surgeon reviews subforum with more insight in my case.
  20. It's nice for the first wash to be done by them but it's not mandatory or special. Just use your hand palms and gently wash your donor while recipient area do it with extra care, don't press/rub it or such....gently apply shampoo foam on it, use foam from other parts of the head and gently tap it on recipient area without touching grafts with hand...also rinse it with very low water pressure and apply aloe vera gel after....or simply just follow post op instructions given by doctor. I think there is a video on yt how to do it.
  21. Also Alexandra told me my file with pre-op pics and data should be ready this month, when i get it i'll post it here
  22. 2 months 11days: Just a little update since i'm happy with progress. I can see a lot of tiny hairs sprouting every few days and keep growing, i observe it in areas that shedded the most. There are a lot of tiny doubles sprouting... I hope by month 4 it will be significat change.
