Regular Member 147break Posted March 8, 2020 Author Regular Member Share Posted March 8, 2020 2 MONTHS Hey guys, it's been two months now since I had my surgery. Still a bit red but it's slowly fading. Also I think I am starting to see the first stages of some growth! You can only really see this with flash and zooming in but it is looking promising in a previously fully bald area Also if a moderator reads this, please check my report on this thread thanks

Regular Member 147break Posted April 11, 2020 Author Regular Member Share Posted April 11, 2020 3 MONTHS Hey guys, just thought I'd do another update since another month has passed. I'm stuck indoors like most people so it's making the growing phase a little easier until the redness completely fades. There has been a small amount of growth but nothing really noticeable without the flash on a picture. Here is a photo with the flash and one that shows more what it looks like in real life

Regular Member MrThor Posted May 1, 2020 Regular Member Share Posted May 1, 2020 Are you taking finasteride and minoxil? I went to the same doc 4 Feb 2750 grafts and I use these both I’m really happy with the growth now on my 3 month mark on Monday. FYI I also take B and D vitamin + fish oil in the morning. Hey mate, yes I've been using fin since before the surgery but I only started minoxidil a couple of weeks ago. I only use minoxidil once per day before bed too

Regular Member 147break Posted June 6, 2020 Author Regular Member Share Posted June 6, 2020 5 MONTHS Hey guys, here are the 5 months pics. It's looking better and better the more it grows out and fills in. Next month it should be long enough to style back so I'm excited to see how that looks. I suspect I'll need a bit of toppik when it's styled that way. Let me know what you think

Valued Contributor Steeeve Posted July 1, 2020 Valued Contributor Share Posted July 1, 2020 This looks really good! Your doctor did a great job. What’s interesting is that your new hairline is so subtly similar to your original native hairline that no one is ever going to think you’ve had anything done unless you throw a before and after picture in their face. The results from before are night and day, though. Congrats! It’s only going to get better from here.

When I was discussing my hairline with the doctor I told him that I always had a high hairline and the main goal was just to fill in the temples. Before the transplant I used to wear my hair almost sideways like a mini combover so it doesn't actually look like that different of a hairline. It just looks better to the eye and allows me to wear more styles and not worry about the wind. However you will see in a week with the high quality pics that it's still too thin on the left side, and there is also one big multigraft on the left side hairline that I think stands out. Maybe I will start pulling a couple of the hairs out of it with tweezers in hopes of them not growing back lol. But other than that I am very happy so far! I think I will be completely satisfied with the final result after a year 😁 Here is an example of my childhood hairline which shows how high it was to start Edited July 1, 2020 by 147break Included childhood photo
