  1. @Melvin-Moderator you told me all Doctors have bad results but it’s how they handle these bad results that make them good or bad Doctors. ASMED has bad results like all other clinics but they have started threatening patients with lawyers @dust78 or simply stonewalling patients with bad results for months @miko and that should be unacceptable at HRN! @munich stated that ASMED is now a clinic that does tech run surgeries on 8 patients per and will therefore refuse any touch at ASMED to avoid further endangering his precious donor area with this hairmill. These aren’t patients writing sensationalist posts or fake members, these are real patients showing HRN the truly unethical behavior they are enduring from one of HRN affiliates. You replied to all of this by complaining that a patient of ASMED that got a good result was dismissed on this thread and mentioned names of some other patients with good results but what does any of that matter to us patients when we have read here at HRN how we risk being treated if we have a bad result at ASMED.... Myself and @TrixGlendevon gave good advice and managed to steer @rf_ht_2019 clear away from hairmills so imagine my surprise when I just read your post giving him confidence to chose a hairmill such as ASMED. I have to admit that I’m shocked that you are going to such lengths to defend ASMED despite their unethical behavior which in my humble opinion should at the very least award them a temporary ban until they show proof of a drastic change in their behavior towards their botched patients.
  2. @miko thanks for sharing yet another horror from the most famous hairmill in Turkey - ASMED. It’s truly unbelievable how HRN can still be associated with such a unethical hairmill.
  3. Thanks for your kind words. So far I’m happy as I chose one of the only two options to go with in Turkey (for BHT they are both great) but for your particular condition Feriduni and Hattingen are the best choices.
  4. @rf_ht_2019 you were given great advice and I’m happy to see you went from Turkish hairmills to the best in the world for FUT. Looking forward to hearing about your diagnosis with Feriduni and Hattingen.
  5. I had FUT with Rahal in 2008 and my scar is not noticeable unless I shave with a number 2 shaver. You have a lot of cm2 to cover I would say around 160cm2. If you start with FUT and then have FUE you will maximize your limited donor area. I would recommend using the most out your FUT donor area and then moving to FUE+BHT. I look forward to hearing about the diagnosis you will receive but I’m sure you are looking at more than 6000 grafts divided into two surgeries.
  6. If you live in Spain and are dead set on FUE then you should consider Ximena Villa which is a better option than HLC but you will most likely need 2 surgeries with her or Bruno Ferreira in Portugal. Dr Arika at Eugenix could probably rebuild your front and midscalp and crown in one surgery. Its a quick flight from Spain to Feriduni or Muresanu so I advise you to ask them for a diagnosis.
  7. @rf_ht_2019 you are looking at around 6000 grafts minimum to get a barely decent density. You should consider FUT and I advise you to request a diagnosis to Feriduni, Muresanu, H&W and Rahal. If you are dead set on FUE your only option would be Dr Arika at Eugenix as they are considered the best in the world for FUE mega sessions.
  8. @TrixGlendevon the op said he was considering KSL which is a clinic that only does FUE so I assumed that was his preference. Since I don’t know the extent of @Jimbo85 baldness I suggest the best for high norwood mega sessions (Arika) and one of the more highly skilled and affordable Doctors (Ferreira) for regular sessions of FUE up to 4000 grafts.
  9. @Jimbo85 if you are a high norwood and need a mega session I would advise you go with Dr. Arika (1.8€/graft w/tax) at Eugenix. Check @paddyirishman results thread. Otherwise go with Dr. Bruno Ferreira (2.5€/graft) he does surgery on just 1 patient per day using DHI with Lion Implantor pens. Check @Rolandas results thread.
  10. @rf_ht_2019 I agree with @TrixGlendevon recommendation of Dr. Ximena Villa. She worked for almost a decade with Dr. Lorenzo before opening her own clinic (Bruno Ferreira replaced her at Lorenzo’s clinic). They both have the same technique which is DHI but Ximena does 2 patients per day while Bruno does only 1 patient per day. You can check Ximena’s several real patients results on the Spanish forum (pretty much all of them are home run results).
  11. Are you for real endorsing unethical behavior such as threatening botched patients with lawyers? I am for real providing evidence for every comment and now reply to you quoting my previous post when I wrote “you are one of the lucky ones”. I must remind you that Cinik that you agreed to being a low cost hairmill also has several happy (lucky) patients at HRN. Any minute now a patient from Cinik that paid 1500€ for his “3500 grafts” surgery will be coming to this thread recommending Cinik’s tech run surgeries just as you are doing now for ASMED not realizing the results at these tech run clinics depend on how lucky people are to get a good tech team.
  12. @rf_ht_2019 also look into @Dr. Bruno Ferreira and check @Rolandas thread on his results with doctor. He works in Madrid with Dr Lorenzo (one of the best in the world) but also has in clinic in Porto where he charges half price (2.5€/graft) doing 1 patient per day with DHI using Lion Implantor pens.
  13. @Craig2412 you do realize things can change at any clinic and the experience you had a while back might not be the same today as you can read on the threads I posted. Recently it’s mostly bad results and you are saying that people should consider a clinic that is now threatening patients that show them their bad results with lawyers. So you approve this behavior? I get it that you are happy with your results but you have to realize that a clinic with such unethical behavior towards their botched patients is not a clinic any reasonable person or former patient can continue to recommend.
  14. @Craig2412 please read the threads above as you will find that everyone is stating that recently it’s gone downhill as they now have techs operating 8 patients per day (hairmill) and Dr. Erdogan intervention is little to none. Every clinic has bad results and it’s the way they handle patients with bad results that makes them great clinics or unethical hairmills like ASMED that told @dust78 to speak with their lawyers after he showed he was overharvested. Sadly ASMED went from good to a very high priced hairmill.
  15. @Craig2412 I’m glad you are one of the lucky ones from ASMED and I see you are aware that today ASMED is no better than any other Turkish hairmill. You can check below what recent ASMED patients are saying: @munich experience and quote: “Now they operate 8 patients per day. If you are lucky you get the good techs. Dr. Koray just draws the hairline and makes the cuts. They promise a growth rate of more than 90% but they can't keep this promise anymore as you could see in many cases here in this forum. “ @dust78 experience and quote: “unacceptable is the attitude they are having with me. I sent the photos to show the conditions of my donor. The doctor did not even deign to answer me personally, as usual he delegated his consultant who with a message via whatsapp told me that it was all right and that it was all normal. Furthermore, as he had done previously, at the slightest hint of dissent he immediately made me understand that if I didn't like it I had to see it with their lawyer! “ @miko experience: Based in the threads above from real patients experiences, I’m downgrading the tech run ASMED to a hairmill (just like Cinik) and will be referring to them as such in the future. I don’t understand how people still recommend this unethical high priced hairmill. @rf_ht_2019 if you are dead set on traveling to the world capital of botched hair transplant surgeries that is Turkey but still manage to achieve great results then I advise you to book with the best in the country, right now that’s HLC Ankara.
  16. @Craig2412 please read my post as I didn’t write ASMED is a hairmill but rather a high price clinic getting bad results and threatening patients with lawyers. My statement can be verified on @dust78 thread regarding his experience at ASMED.
  17. @rf_ht_2019 my advice is to stay clear from ASMED as they have been getting bad results, overharvesting patients and then threatening them with lawyers. Cinik is a all inclusive hairmill in which your results will depend on tech team assigned to you on the day of your surgery. In your list Demirsoy (1.25€/graft) is the only option but if you are set on Turkey why not go to best which is HLC Ankara (2.7€graft)? Demirsoy only does surgery on 1 patient per day but does pre-made slits/holes and. has technicians do the implantation. HLC has doctors doing only 1 patient per day with a higher level surgery stick&place in which each slit is done and immediately after the graft is implanted. It’s the same technique used by Dr. Konior. If you have the budget for it then go to HLC.
  18. @thinhairguy your hair and hairloss seems very similar to another member @Rolandas you should check out his thread.
  19. @Guano wow what a change since your last pictures with a lot of shock loss! I have the feeling it’s going to be another home run for Pekiner 💪
  20. @LonelyGraft after I found out about my friend also being rejected I complained to the rep because I felt responsible for having recommending Pekiner and the rep told me that they have started requesting a thricogram to any patient with suspected miniaturized hairs so they can know if they need to reject these patients before they get on a plane to Turkey. I already told you that HLC didn’t operate on @duchaine they just said they wouldn’t have aborted his surgery and could operate on him at a later date. Obviously you would have to wait 12 months to see HLC results on Duchaine to say for certain if Pekiner was right or wrong on rejecting him (if I had Duchaine condition I wouldn’t go to HLC either).
  21. @LonelyGraft Pekiner aborts surgeries when he’s not confident he will achieve great results and I know he doesn’t charge for aborted surgeries he just charges if he implants grafts. My friend Gonçalo had the choice to get a full refund or pay for the 200 grafts extracted and get them implanted. He chose to get the 200 grafts (I wouldn’t have). Pekiner’s not a option for anyone with miniaturized hair because it seems he’s not willing to risk another unhappy miniaturized hair patient like dredd77. I knew I didn’t have miniaturized hairs so I was confident in choosing Pekiner’ because all other patients are posting great results and he does beard mega sessions. If I had miniaturized hairs or DUPA I would never go to anyone in Turkey I would go to Dr. Lorenzo and if I hadn’t the budget for Lorenzo I would go to his colleague Bruno Ferreira.
  22. @LonelyGraft if you are saying that the patient that was rejected is @duchaine then you are mistaken because he was indeed rejected after a few grafts were extracted but he didn’t have a surgery at another Turkish clinic (he did consult with HLC and they did say they would operate on him at a later date). But you are correct that his rep lacks CRM skills when confronted and asked for things he shouldn’t. Also true that Pekiner has refused a few patients with miniaturized hairs (like my friend Gonçalo that is now having his HT with Bruno Ferreira on May 29th who’s a Doctor that has more experience with DUPA and miniaturized hairs). All this doesn’t exclude the fact the apart from 1 patient that had miniaturized hairs and ended up with subpar results, he’s been hitting nothing but home runs doing a highly skilled doctor only surgery at a affordable price (reason why I picked him and so far so good). I also have to say that if I have any type of surgery and the doctor tells me at the beginning of the surgery after having a closer look that he’s not confident he can achieve a good result then I would prefer to abort the surgery so I can then seek another Doctor with more experience towards my particular situation (in the medical field doctors actually refer their patients to other Doctors that are more skilled for their particular situation and it’s nothing be ashamed of).
  23. @bismarck I speak 5 languages and I’m a member of pretty much all the international forums. Besides dredd71 there’s only patients showing good results (reason why I picked him). Surely you can understand that if you make negative accusations towards a Doctor then his patients at HRN will be curious to confirm if there’s any truth to your statement so please provide proof to your negative comments regarding the Doctor I chose for my second HT who is actually considered the best in Turkey along with HLC Ankara.
  24. @bismarck please explain what Pekiner has done to people! The 1 and olny subpar case he has on all the online foruns (the guy wrote in all) shows the doctor offered a free touch up which is a lot more than what a HRN reccomended clinic like ASMED is doing to their subpar results or even botched/overharvested patients. I have a friend with a booked surgery to Pekiner and he got a full refund (before the Covid-19) just because his older brother had his surgery aborted with Pekiner due to miniaturized hairs and he was affraid the same might happen to him. Pekiner told him his hair is not miniaturized like his older brother but offered to refund him 1500€ if he wanted (what other Doctor would do this?).
