  1. Hi Bravo, thanks for posting on my thread :-) Good luck with the progress of your HT - 3437 grafts will make a huge difference!! Keep us updated
  2. OP is on finasteride, so there's a good chance he'll keep the hair he's got now for many years to come. Gabel is awesome but wouldn't hurt to consult with Diep (since you prefer FUE)
  3. Yes, FUT is still king. Another pick w hair pulled back damp. And two with my hair wet -- right out of shower, and hair pulled back out of the shower. I didn't have a postop regimen. For first 30 days I followed my doctors regimen, but I did not use minox, take MSN, nor biotin. In fact I never have. Just propecia from age 23/24? all the way thru now at age 41. :-)
  4. Thought I'd add to my timeline tonight. It's been 10.5 months since my frontal third FUT with Dr. Rahal (3185 grafts). This was my 1st HT Also included are my preop, postop, and pic at about 1.5 months when shockloss of my frontal forelock was freakishly bad. My hair has gotten quite long and slicking it back has been fun, considering I'm 41yo and haven't been able to slick it back since my teens. My hair is dyed dark brown -- you can see some of the gray underneath, lol. To be honest, I should've just left it gray -- looks fuller and more dense. At 12 months (mid February '17), I"m going to cut all of my hair very short and have a good look at my 1 year result. Could not be happier - Rahal has changed my life, duh...
  5. This is only my opinion, you will be dissatisfied with a 1600 graft procedure even if it's a home run result with little to no transgression. Why? Cuz that area needs about 3000 grafts.
  6. Jagged looks more natural. The Gabel pic above should answer your question as it's an amazing hairline result
  7. Wow, absolute perfection with respect to this doctors extraction technique. Looks like it'll take 30 minutes to heal up :-)
  8. Read another post yesterday about getting prostrate checked after a period of time if you're taking fin or dut. Strangely, I was always so consumed w my damn hair that I didn't stop to think about other health effects of what we do/take around here to keep our hair
  9. Get back on fin asap obviously. And looking at your head-on shot, via your reflection in the mirror, I would NOT lower your hairline at all, just straighten / strengthen existing hairline back to its original shape prior to any hairloss by bringing temples down. 2000 gr max to do that imho
  10. Surgery - easy part (congrats!) Waiting game - the tough part (think 4 months, as most Rahal FUT guys start to look good by then) I will say the work looks pristine and very refined
  11. Honestly TJ, it's like you're just some dude who's been lucky enough to avoid the MPB gene. You look like you've never been receding. Grand slam result. Congratulations man
  12. Procedurally I think you would have been fine with Diep. He's a great FUE surgeon. Emotionally, I agree with the others. Just wait until you're ready, if ever. And there's nothing wrong with never being ready mate. The HT game ain't for everybody
  13. I thought Feller was retired, am I wrong? And more to the point 'NO' I would not feel comfortable going to Diep for FUT (and I'm a fan of FUT)
  14. In my opinion a lower graft number procedure (even with a great doctor) is a better experience. 2500 FUT is sooooo much less traumatic on your head. I'm super excited for you man. I remember telling Dr. Rahal to "just jam as much hair as you can into my frontal third", lol. His plan for me was 2500, but we ended up with 3185 :-)
  15. Haha, knew you'd seen this hsrp10! As a fellow fine hair guy, I like these numbers too.
  16. The guy you're comparing yourself to looks to have much thicker hair than you - by this I mean his hair caliber is larger than yours. You have fine hair, do you not? The guy above has coarse hair. This can make an incredible difference. This is why we must be careful when comparing result to result, graft count to graft count, coverage to coverage, etc
  17. Chabany, your hairline from week 3 up through week 12 is starting to develop. As an outsider who's not staring at your hair, I can see that the growth has started big-time. Month 4 should be even better.
  18. Wow KO, so clean on day 11. Good luck and happy growing.
  19. Sick result N0Air!! You must be stoked. Should thicken up a bit now...
