  1. I think it’s important to note that this patient appears to have very coarse hair. For me, I needed 4000 (!) grafts to get a dense hairline Legend, is your hair coarse or fine?
  2. Should be a great result. Keep us updated!
  3. Interested in seeing how this turns out. I know that guesthouse too!! It’s great...
  4. Both are top notch for FUT. I’ve never really researched FUE. See my signature if you feel like viewing my results with Dr. Rahal. I’d be completely comfortable and at-ease with either surgeon :-)
  5. I smoked through both of my procedures, and my results were exceptionally good. I wouldn’t stress it man :-)
  6. Smart move. Especially at your age (34/35). Keser can do Erdogan-like work with non-Erdogan graft counts. And under age 40, you’ll in all likelihood need to save grafts for later :-)
  7. Row 2, with the close-up of the buzzed hair crown (quarter inch shave) is impressive
  8. If you want to be happy? Get 3500 FUT in frontal third only. Ignore other balding areas while you wait a year for HT #1 to grow. —- If you get 1800 in that entire area of baldness, you’ll look the EXACT same as you do now. Others here will agree
  9. Wow, wow, wow look how tightly-packed Keser is capable of getting. He’s my #1 FUE guy should I ever need FUE (though I’ve still got another FUT in me if needed)
  10. If I’m a NW 4-5, I go FUT cuz I gotta lot of ground to cover. And if it’s FUT, I’ll go with Dr. Rahal. Mind you my only experience is with Rahal. Full disclosure. I’m biased.
  11. Yes this is a lot of grafts for a single fue procedure, but wow. This one-round leaves me speechless. Well done.
  12. I agree with the old chestnut on this. Take fin, stabilize your hair loss, then reassess your condition.
  13. Thanks guys for all the compliments. As much as I love the slicked back look, I’ll shorten it way up at the 1 yr mark in March. Then I’ll post a side-by-side-by-side of pre-op, post HT #1, post HT #2. Maybe this will help the fine hair guys see what a big round 1 and a touch up round 2 can do for us. Incredibly life-changing experience for me.
  14. For those who have PM’d me about my formerly bald temples and how the hair works itself in naturally with my forelock. Here’s two pics of wet and slid over with my fingers, tilted head, etc
  15. First few pics are pre-op 1st transplant, 41 days after 1st transplant (bad shedding / shock loss - whoa.jpg) I show those so you know where I started from in EARLY 2016 ------ The buzz cut one was 32 days after HT #2 (APRIL 2017) ---- The drivers license I threw in for fun -- that was 2015, one year before starting my HT journey!! (a.jpg) ---- The rest of the pics (files named 1.jpg -13.jpg) are from today, and/or last weekish...
  16. Read my threads (links in my signature below). That will help you keep Rahal in your top 3
  17. AZ, would love to see some pics... If you're willing to share...
  18. You say you're at 11 weeks, so If I had to guess I'd say it's probably your new grafts just starting to surface. They may look like they're not growing in length, but they probably are (albeit slowly)
  19. Congrats on deciding to try finasteride. 1mg/day has kept my crown and midscalp intact for almost two decades.
  20. Amazing result - very dense and seemless with his existing hair. Well done
  21. 1. Take finasteride 2. Wait until you're 30. But getting an HT now with a reputable FUT surgeon wouldn't be all that bad 3. Recognize that 2 of the top 5 FUT surgeons in the world are in Canada. I went to one of them :-)
  22. Hey Orangerade. My 2nd FUT is going great. The additional 1204 grafts have served their purpose, which was to put my frontal third into a state of “unreasonable density” for an HT patient. Hehe... I’ll post some pics soon. 11/27/17 will mark 8 months. I’ll post some pics then.
