  1. Looks realistic, as all your results do. Nicely done. Quick question though. Why is there that white line color where "hairline" meets forehead? Is that just something he can rectify with a tan?
  2. Looks fine. Best not to get in the habit of "pulling" on anything though. Just leave it be and try not to worry so much. Things will go just fine for you :-)
  3. If hair can grow through a scar (assuming a trichophytic closure), then blood flows to the surface of both a scar and a blister. If blood can flow to the surface, then your little Sharpie pen can penetrate the surface of your scar just like my blister. See what I'm saying, sport? If you want people to make other suggestions, as your original post indicates, you'll get more responses by maintaining a less condescending tone. I was only trying to be helpful. Next?
  4. Congrats on your ETSMP procedure. :-) "Extremely Temporary SMP" - but careful with that man. When I was a kid I had a blister on my hand from playing tug of war and I thought it'd be funny if I colored the blister (half-dome, non-popped blister) with a red marker. Gave me an infection
  5. Have you changed shampoos or other hair products recently? That could be the culprit.
  6. Luna1, if there are no side effects for you, stay on finasteride full time. Then reassess your hair in a few years
  7. This time, not yet (under 3 months still) Last time, 3.5 months -- 4 months mark is when things started to happen. HLS2015, how are things coming along?
  8. My donor density is unchanged because I had two FUTs. Same as it was before both HT's. I have really good laxity too, so luckily there's no tightness. Read some post the other day about how strip thins out the donor, which is complete bullsh1t. The guys math was all wrong.
  9. I appreciate seeing a small Erdogan case. Please keep us updated
  10. Good progress, but find the nearest trash can for all of those snake oils except for Proscar. You know you're taking 2x what most Proscar HT guys take, right?
  11. To be honest, I'd say this is "good progress." 1779 grafts over that amount of space: this is going to probably be a "decent outcome" but "poor coverage" due to planning. Or if not planning, which involves the doc, then expectations?? Dunno. I had 3185 grafts over the same area and STILL went back for a touch up even though almost every single one of my 3185 grafts appeared (very subjective, I know) to have grown. Of course, I'm much older than you (42 now), so don't take my post as a suggestion that you should blast your frontal third with 4300 grafts as I have, lol
  12. You clearly have an expectation problem, and are trying to rush your result along before it's time. Be patient dude. Looks as good as mine did at 5 months
  13. I've never had a dream about my hair per se, but I do remember slicking back my hair at 10 months post-op #1 for the first time, thinking, "Jeezus this is like a fu*kin dream to be able to do this." First time I used a comb and/or product in at least 10 years.
  14. Whoa, unbelievably good. Agree with Spanker that this guy must have some thick hair.
  15. By 10 months, I looked the same until going in for round 2 at 13 months. So, from 10 months -- 13 months ----> no change. And similar to Matt above, I was an early grower
  16. I agree and disagree. For this guy, 2500gr works because he appears to have some seriously thick hair. Horse hair, haha Me? My entire head is like one giant wispy hairball, lol. So I've needed 4000gr in my frontal third. Wasteful? -- no, because I'm 42yo and on meds. 2500gr for ME would have made my bald areas just look like very diffuse areas unfortunately It just depends on so many factors, specific to each patient. In my opinion anyway :-)
  17. Agreed. Hair is hair, transplanted or otherwise. (Assuming dense enough result commensurate with your natural hair). Styling is optional, but for me, to style my hairline for the first time in 20 years was/is an experience I cannot explain in words. Very gratifying
  18. I wouldn't address your crown without being on finasteride. That area may open up significantly without fin.
  19. Looks as it should at this point. Looking forward to your 4th month pics. Hope you'll post them for us when the time comes. Should look markedly different by then, as I can see things are starting up there...
  20. ?? Recipient incisions are recipient incisions, regardless. A different surgeon probably could have been kinder to the skin.
  21. Sorry to see this man. You should try to get a refund if possible. If it's not a big chain like Bosley, Ziering, etc, your clinic might consider it if you use this forum as leverage. Probably your best bet, as I'm sure your paperwork prevents you from any legal recourse. I mean, work WAS performed afterall, albeit sh1tty ya know? Bummer result, sorry man
  22. Thanks Mikey. Anybody else have any experience(s) and or thoughts about taking Creatine while on fin?
  23. I'd never take steroids, so I'm not concerned about its ability to expedite MPB in men who are susceptible to early hairloss/thinning/etc. But what about creatine? Or creatine while taking fin? Searching both the web and this forum, I've read (only) anecdotal evidence from both sides on this.
