  1. Understand that bro. I am kind of leary of posting pictures for that reason. You have helped so many people by putting your story and pics out there hopefully Bill or David will comment on this.
  2. I think you are very smart in waiting to get a procedure done. Rushing into it is the biggest mistake people often make. I got a procedure done exactly four months ago today. I am really happy I got it done and it is turning out great . I got a somewhat conservative hairline but my face is framed now. If I would have gotten a procedure done three or four years ago I would be in trouble now because I would have had my hairline put too low and would not have enough grafts in the bank for the future. The answer to your question is yes stay on the meds don't obsess about your hair and live your life. One thing you probably don't see at 23 is that if the meds work for you many of your peers will lose an alarming amount of hair in the next five years. You will have more hair than them and you may begin to see that hair loss is just a part of life. It's hard to explain what I mean. It's hard to lose hair at any age but I think it's harder when you are young because most of your peers still have all of their hair. When you get a few years older and you see hair loss is more common and happening to your peers you look at it in a different way.
  3. It sucks they used your image without your permission. I think this kind of thing happens more than we know on the internet. In my many years of searching hair transplant websites I have seen an alarming amount of recurring pictures on different doctors websites. On another note just want to say I just watched all your videos and you did a really good job of presenting some quality information that people should consider before undergoing a procedure. I like how Diep transplanted your crown you should have a nice result.
  4. I am just about four months out from strip surgery. I had an excellent surgeon and my scar is a non issue. Having said that I don't think anyone even with the best strip scar could go as low as a three guard.
  5. Sorry you had to go through that horrible experience Lorenzo. I really respect you for sharing your story with others. It will really give them something to think about.
  6. I agree that 1100 grafts will not make much of a cosmetic difference as that is such a large area to cover.
  7. I do not see what you see in the videos. His hair doesn't look any less dense to me. Keep in mind different videos have different lighting so it could be something as simple as that or the length he cuts his hair. Also in his last video he just got out of swimming in the ocean and that will make a difference.
  8. Hair characteristics could mean if your hair is fine or thick, the color, if it's straight or curly. A curly hair will give the illusion of more density than a straight hair. It will take more grafts if you have fine hair than if you have thicker caliber hair. Read this. https://www.ishrs.org/articles/hair-characteristics.htm
  9. Really happy to read this Sanjar. You have been through hell and I am happy you are finally experiencing some happiness. Your story really validates the usefulness of this forum. I wish you nothing but the best. I would also like to say how impressed I am with Dr Mohebi. This case not only focuses on his strong ethics as a surgeon but also on his high quality of character as a caring person.
  10. Only way to know for sure is get it checked out in person. Pictures are not reliable when trying to diagnose a loss pattern like this. I understand why you are concerned about the sides as they do appear to be quite thin. As far as DUPA goes there just isn't a lot of information out there. I have read articles from both DR Rassman and DR Bernstein on the subject but there is little else. As they suggest you would need to have your donor on the sides checked for miniaturization. According to what Dr Rassman wrote if you have more than 20% you probably can be classified as having DUPA. Worst thing you can do is self diagnose yourself. I did that drove myself crazy and later was relieved to find out I was completely wrong. You could be the victim of a bad haircut for all we know. I agree with what others have said propecia seems like the only thing you should consider at this point.
  11. I agree with that. You are a class six and can't afford to lose any grafts. I would consult with several doctors and compare what they say.
  12. I agree with Lorenzo. You will not find many US doctors that do body hair because most of them don' t view it as a viable resource it just doesn't look natural. You should try to meet with a patient that has had this done and view it in person before considering having this done. I would never trust pictures or even video when it comes to body hair. There is a reason doctor True turned you away.
  13. I wouldn't stress too much. Grafts should be secure at ten days at least that is what we are often told.
  14. The main thing I take from this video is that the guy was completely comfortable in his own skin. He was smart enough to understand that he would age and accepted it as just an inevitable part of life. He doesn't strike me as the kind of guy that would even consider a transplant. I am jealous of people that can just accept it and move on and live what life they have left without strings. Life has several cruel jokes in store for us all as we age. Notice that as he lost his hair on his head that the body hair started to grow on his neck and shoulder area. Sad thing about life is time never loses it gets us all in the end.
  15. Thank you Lorenzo for your kind words. I want people to be safe and avoid bad doctors. I do not want anyone to go through what I went through. I want to post this for patients and the moderators so they know what is going on out there. When I went to the trainers practice there were three doctors working there. Himself , Huebner and Dr Marko. You can see the obviously ridiculous marketing. They all follow the same pattern. They use outdated grafting and name the procedure after themself. Charging someone by the size of the strip is ridiculous. Look at this and learn. This doctor learned this from them. They have the same exact bs claims.MAX DENSITY® Hair Restoration Procedure | Advanced Hair Transplants
  16. I agree with what shampoo says. Also want to say an ethical doctor will take into account future hair loss and have a plan. I have been to a ton of consults before finding my surgeon and some of them refused to talk about future loss. Hair loss is progressive and you only have so many grafts. You do not want to waste them by getting a hair line that it too low especially if you are destined to be a high norwood. If I were you I would keep researching as this is a big decision no reason to rush into it. The more educated you become the better off you will be.
  17. You are correct in your assumption. When the trainer flipped out he fired everyone in his office and the sales rep went to work with Huebner and helped him start up his own practice. The rep has since quit working for Huebner and is now working for the trainer again. Trust me I could write a book about how screwed up and dishonest everything that went on in south Florida.
  18. First I want to say I never had a procedure with Huebner. Due to the fact that I was uneducated I had dealings with the doctor he used to work with and trained him. I just want to say that was one of the worst experiences of my life and almost scared me from ever getting a procedure. Huebner seems to have the same business model as the doctor I can't mention here. The hue is a scam. Basically they do not charge by grafts they charge by the size of the strip . They tell everyone they need two procedures in the same area because grafts planted too close to one another will die off. This is as we all know complete nonsense. The doctor who trained him has a history of bragging he can get more hair than anyone. He does this by charging patients more by taking an extra giant strip. I have seen several examples of scars that dip down way below the safe zone. Do your self a favor and move on.
