  1. Excellent and "true" presentation of results by a physician. More of this standard needed from others. Thankyou Dr. Nakatsui
  2. Hairfarmer, your thread initially started very well and it was easy to get a handle on your situation.. I was actually on your side. But as your started to say more and it seems like you're ranting on now, I'm kinda on the fence. It would have be best served if you had documented accurately with high definition photos what you hair was like before, during and after (progressive photos) the HT. Also please reframe from ranting on about trolls and people trying to shout you down and embellishing your version of events, it does unfortunately make you appear a little unstable, it makes it difficult for forum members to get a handle of your situation. Try to keep it neutral and factual. Generally people can see things for what it is in regards to trolls or whatever. imo your hairline isn't great, but you did get decent growth. I too would be very unhappy with the results of the hairline if I paid 15-20k for those results. Your situation is fixable, both in regards to your hair and the relationship b/w H&W with regards to refund or whatever your seek in damages.
  3. it was about 6 months before from when I joined HTN and when I choose my HT surgeon.
  4. "Less is more" I'd advise you go with 3000 grafts first and see how your chosen surgeon does first before committing another 2000-3000 grafts. A second HT will also provide you with a chance to "tweak" any gaps you might have either in the hairline or behind it or fill in the crown. In the worst case scenario that you commit to a 5000 graft HT and you have bald yield then you would be left with very little in reserve for a second HT. Try to avoid over-cooking HT with a mega session. It's more risky.
  5. Understood Dr Wu, you placed the graft where the patients wanted it. In my opinion, a slightly denser (even by another 200-300 grafts) hairline would've made the 1st session a knockout. Looking forward to the 2nd HT, I'm sure the hairline would be addressed, the patient looks like he's got the donor and hair caliber to have a great result. better a wall than a picket fence
  6. A very bad situation made better. If were this guy, i would consider having my hair short, grade 2 or 3. Beard hair look very rough and unruly and doesnt lend well to long lengths for head coverage. But keeping in mind this is a universe better than where he started. Its time to consider a better haircut.
  7. I'll tell you what i think would've better. Use of 3500 odd grafts for hairline and front 2/3rd of the scalp. Forget about the crown for the first HT. Also, this guy is not no meds so in 5 years he will look far far worse in the front than what he appears now. People put too much value on crown coverage. Crown is overrated. Get a good permanent hairline so the viewer cannot see through you. I see the first stage did cover crown. Better that the 500-800 grafts gone into crown be used on hairline.
  8. I would judge this as 7/10. The hairline is quite weak. Coverage is satisfactory. I certainly wouldnt classify this in the realm of outstanding.
  9. That's a best hairline i've seen for a while. Super natural. Asymmetry is the key to making a believeable hairline.
  10. Looks great so far modthispny, you'd have a killer mop of hair if you decide to grow your hair (back and sides) longer as well as the top. At 7 months, can't hardly see any gaps. It'd be thick as a box-hedge at 15months. Dr.Diep does some great work.
  11. I would refute this statement as I have complimented many fue cases. My most recent being below example. http://www.hairrestorationnetwork.com/eve/177064-2-460-fue-hair-transplant-doctor-john-diep.html I didn't criticize the growth, its great, the guy got a lot of hair from his procedure. But it looks too plastic from my point of view, the hairline could've been done better to have a more natural look. The bottom clip being the example. The hairline is too definitively bold and lacking softening. Its just forehead and then BAM--> straight thick hairline. I'm sure many would agree with me.
  12. it looks so unnatural..good growth but aesthetically unnatural
  13. Your progress looks great. Do you have any before photos? Good to see that you've posted from day 1 with regular progress updates. I'm at 5 months HT with Dr.Radha, so your case gives me some sort of benchmark in regards of expected growth from 5 to 8 months.
  14. I haven't update my profile webpage cos it's a bit fiddly. I've updated my thread about once a month. http://www.hairrestorationnetwork.com/eve/175267-dr-radha-fut-3261-grafts-photo-word-heavy-4.html
  15. The pimples will pop themselves, usually during hair washing or afterwards when you're drying your hair. Do not touch them with dirty fingers. Apply betadine ointment twice a day on the pimples to control infection and the leave the suckers alone as best as you can.
  16. Your hairline looks very natural thanks to the feathering effect of zig-zagging pattern. More surgeons should adopts this hairline method imo.
  17. 5 months and 1 week Thanks mikeey & pupdaddy Experienced a surge of pimples in the donor and recipient areas at 4 months & 3 weeks. That lasted for 2 weeks. After pimples cleared there was a surge of growth. Wet hair cover is decent, I'm not "hair self-conscious" nowadays when going for a swim Dry Wet
  18. Bad FUT scars don't happen as much now days compared to the past, esp from top surgeons. Just like yield for fue is better now than it was in the past. I like the idea of FUE scar being aesthetically superior but what concerned me is that the extraction process is blind process. The other thing about fue is the thinning in the donor area once 3000-4000 grafts are removed.
  19. Really nice growth, growing very well. One thing I'll comment on is the last photo. The hairline appears a bit...weird..It appears start quite harsh and not have a natural soft hairline one would expect.
  20. Well done Erdogan. I've criticised Erdogan before (as many others have as well) regarding inconsistent photo documentation but this is top notch photo standard to match the usually high clinical standards. Hope to see more of this in the future.
  21. Exactly Matt. I initially booked myself for FUE which Dr. Radha allocated THREE (3) days to complete. I overtuned my initial decision for FUE in favour of FUT and had 3200 grafts. I think to get elite quality FUE, this demands for max 1200 grafts per day by only the Doc by manual extractions. Even 2000 fue per day is too much of a rush job compromising meticulous quality.
