  1. You could try taking a quarter pill every other day and see how that goes.
  2. I'd second this request. His website is easy to find with a simple google search.
  3. It looks a bit early for surgery. I'm not a physician but I'd say try Regaine/Rogaine foam for a year and see how it goes. The foam is as easy as brushing your teeth and can be effective for some even if it is applied once as opposed to the recommended twice a day.
  4. One month photo update. This is 1 month Fin and 3 weeks Regaine Foam.
  5. If I were him I'd either shave it short or get an FUE transplant, not neither! One good thing is he doesn't need to worry about attracting women anymore. What did Kate see in the multimillionaire Prince William?
  6. I did a week on 1mg/day but experienced headaches after the 4th day, so I switched to 0.5mg every other day. After another month I will try 0.5mg a day and see how that goes.
  7. This is something that is high on my priority list. I see some HTs which are in the right place but the lines are 'too straight'. I know it's all about the placement of the 1s, 2s, and 3s etc, but who do you think is delivering the most natural hairlines out there?
  8. Stephen at BHR might be a good man to contact as I think his case is quite similar to this.
  9. Good video on the True & Dorin site showing the motorised instrument they use for FUE
  10. I would say stick with it. I'm doing 1 application at night on weekdays, twice daily on the weekends.
  11. My situation is very similar to yours, almost the same age, similar loss pattern etc. I know what you're going through! Ive been on Fin for 4 weeks and Min for 2. It's probably the placebo affect but I feel like it is working for me! If anything I've noticed less hairs in the shower or on the bathroom floor. Time will tell.
  12. ...ok so maybe not but his hair was looking noticabley better yesterday at a film premiere. I've no doubt he is taking/applying medication.
  13. I'm no expert but I would think it depends on what's the minimum denisty you can get away with for your hair type. Lets say you do 10 square cm at the front at 50 grafts per sq cm, then that is 10 x 50 = 500 grafts used. The rest of the grafts could cover 10cm x 10cm area at 20 grafts per square cm at towards the crown. So 2500 grafts could cover about 110 sq cm which is about the size of 2.5 credit cards.
  14. I'd definately have a good think about the family history as this should give you a good indication of what's in store.
  15. A work colleague of mine (aged late 20s) said to me that "oh don't worry, hairloss is nothing to worry about" It's funny that in the 5 years I've known her, her last 5 boyfriends all had perfect hairlines except for one who had a shaved head (but obviously a good hairline)! I'm afraid I'm not convinced!
  16. I guess he can't be taking propecia as that is a banned substance for a professional footballer(?) No FUE this summer unless he gets injured for the Euros, so I expect he will be back in the chair in Summer 2013. It may not be a perfect result but it certainly isnt bad. Unfortunately for him the cameras are always pointing down at his head.

  18. NW3V or NW5A...either way I'm shafted! Thanks for the advice Spex. 0.5mg evey other day seems to be going ok so far but if not I'll try the above.
  19. He's not part of the coalition of this site but I've not heard a bad word about Dr Bisanga in Brussels.
  20. I read your original post above. It may be the way you described it but it does seem like you rushed in to a HT a little too soon. That's not to say you will get a bad result or have anything to worry about necessarily. Although H&W have a good reputation, for me they would not make my shortlist. I just dont get a good vibe about them.
  21. I agree wholeheartedly with ILikeMyHair. I've lost my hair for some time now but have not cut back on the gym visits. If youre really worried about the hair then you could start saving 'just incase' and re evaluate the situation in 5 years or so.
  22. I dont think I would expect 100% yield but you have chosen a top doc so your chances of being in the high 90s are a lot greater! I'm probably wrong but shedding hairs take time to work their way out of the root don't they(?) So if a graft was placed which sheds shortly after being placed it doent necessarily follow that the graft will survive. (However, as we know, healthy transplanted grafts also shed shortly after being placed.)
  23. Thanks. I'll probably give it a go!
  24. I've seen threads on this but can someone give me a user guide as to what the hair retention benefits are of using this shampoo?
  25. I suppose these guys have to make a living and that comes from the inflated prices. I'd liken it to taking your car to the garage for an oil change. Lets say they charge you ?120, the reality is that if you have a few basic tools and knowhow you can get a new oil filter and 5L of oil from Walmart which will do exactly the same job for ?30.
