  1. I was sceptical about Rogaine until I tried it. It really does make a difference for about 60% of people who use it. You should be able to get Kirkland Generic Foam from Ebay for about EUR12 a can. I just ordered 3 cans myself!
  2. I'm taking Wellman Tricologic. It's cheapest over ebay. I've not been taking it long enough to say if it helps but it has all sorts of stuff in it like Biotin, Zinc and Amino Acids. I don't take the recommened 3 tablets a day as I think this is excessive. One a day with food does me.
  3. At 23 you're too early to get a HT. The one thing you have going for you is a good shaped head that can pull off the shaved/short look. If you havent done so already then try Rogaine Foam. Apply it at night. I reckon it could work well in maintaining what you've got. Then there's finasteride to consider. You could be one of the lucky ones who gets no side effects.
  4. I'm in the UK but have visited the US a few times. I don't know if Canada also has 'Wallgreens' but keep an eye out for generic versions of Rogaine Foam in your local drug store. They will probably be cheaper. I recommend getting Finpecia rather than Proscar, for the simple reason that you can lower the dose to 0.5mg or 0.25mg. If you have a flaky scalp then use Nizoral shampoo (or cheaper generic) once or twice a week. I've started on multivitamins (Wellman Tricologic) but can't vouch for their effectiveness...yet
  5. Definately worth seeing a physician just to check whether it is actually male pattern baldness you are experiencing. Rogaine is over the counter, finasteride requires a prescription.
  6. I think Nizoral is good at keeping the scalp clear and flake free. My theory is it helps with Minoxidil absorpsion. You could try adding it to the routine. I use it every 5 days. I'm still on the same bottle of generic formula I got from Boots in mid April. Cost about ?8.20 for 100ml.
  7. I've heard some bad things about Dr Rogers! You're better off jumping on the Eurostar for a 2hr train journey to Belgium. There you will find Drs Feriduni, Bisanga and De Reys.
  8. I looked at the ingredients of TRX2 and most if not all seem to be readily available in other supplements you can get from a health food shop. Maybe not in the same concentrations but it does make me wonder whether it is worth the price. Wellman Tricologic has similar ingredients.
  9. I'm looking to add photos every month so here's the August update. I'm not going to win 'Rogaine of the year' or anything like that but I feel quite relieved it has slowed/halted/brought back some hairs.
  10. Great that you're looking to tackle potential hairloss early on. I would apply the Rogaine all over the scalp. How easy this is depends on how long your hairstyle is and how dense it is. I got noticeable results after a month. Nearly 4 months on I'm pretty overjoyed with the way it's progressing. I expect it will take 9-12 months to see my 'final' Rogaine result! A little tip: take a flashlight and shine it on thinned areas while looking up close in the mirror. After a few weeks you should hopefully see dormant hairs starting to grow longer.
  11. HRBR have an impressive set up but at EUR10 a graft FUE they are very expensive.
  12. I think you're right. Mr Arte and Mr Novi are making some phoney posts. Why don't they just cut the bull and post some proven results - could it be they don't have any?!
  13. Not sure if anyone has mentioned this already but the Dr has put several interviews on youtube.
  14. Never heard of this guy as I guess he's a US celebrity. He looks like he went to see Larry Shapiro and asked for a Ronald McDonald hair cut!
  15. I feel like a million dollars now I'm off it, but like the post before, no regrets trying.
  16. Not sure if you can get it in the UK. I do have a Costco membership though
  17. Not 100% sure but I think your hair/scalp needs to be dry - check the instructions
  18. No major shed although looking back I may have thinned out a bit during the second month.
  19. I apply to all thinning areas from crown to hairline - probably 70% of the top of my head. I think the best way is to invert the can and spray small amounts through the hair and directly onto the scalp then massage in. It is inevitable that some foam is trapped and wasted on the hair. The thinner your hair the less gets wasted. I get through a tin in about 3-4weeks.
  20. Some photos. First two from 09 April 12; third from 12 January 12 (with flash) and last 4 taken today 23 July 12. Started Regaine 14 April 12. Generally 1 application at night although recently I've additionally applied a small amount 30 minutes before showering in the morning.
  21. He was great in the Goonies but I wouldn't trust him with my hair!!!
  22. I'm using Alpecin Caffine Shampoo although I don't think it works. I'm one week in to using Wellman Tricolgic so too early to say if they are any good.
