  1. Hi, Look forward to seeing your pics
  2. Ive had both strip(2007) and FUE(2011) with Dr.Bisanga. I cant reccomend him enough. Ive a great head of hair now and considering I have had two strip ops and fue work I can still cut my hair pretty short at the back. I had my first FUT op in 1997 by Dr .Seager in Canada. He has sadly passed away since then but theman was a genius and way ahead of his time in my eyes. His FUT work was so good that when I told the guy who cuts my hair about it years later he actually struggled to see any scar at all at the back. It was that good. I wouldnt say that Bisanga was up to that standard but hes not far off it and hes by far, in my opinion, the best surgeon in Europe and up there with the best in the world. Believe me my research over the years has been quite extensive.
  3. Hi, I am planning a small amount of FUE ina month or so(approx 1500 hairs). I have a good head of hair and its just to fill in a small amount of recession. My hair is also fairly long on top and should have decent growth at the back by the time of the procedure. I know an area of approx 15cm x 3cm needs to be shaved at the back. My question is will 10 days off work following the procedure be enough time for healing and enough regrowth in the donor area so that it does not look like i have had a procedure. This is the only aspect that im worried about(i had strip before but had over three weeks off work). Also will the donor area be left noticeably much less dense when it grows back. Thanks
  4. I think you might be right. They never did get back to me. I thought it was a bit odd that two guys should have such glowing reports about a clinic that, in all my time researching, I have never heard of(the clinic by the way is only about a 20 minute drive from my house). Anyway I have decided not to take any chances and to go back to Dr. Bisanga.
  5. Hi, Thanks for your posts. Peter and Acct, would it be possible to send you a private message?Im not sure how to do it on this site. I had decided to go back to Dr.Bisanga but your feedback is really good. Thanks, Philip
  6. Hi, I had a FUT procedure 3.5 years ago carried out by Dr.Bisanga in Belgium. It was very successfull and I am now left with a really decent head of hair(I had one other procedure carried out by the late Dr.David Saegar in Canada in 1998, a complete success and the man was a genius). Im happy enough with what I have but still have some recession that I would now like to do something about. I am thinking of FUE because I probably only need 300 grafts approx either side. Its not a major procedure so I am thinking of staying in Ireland this time. Has anyone heard anything about Arte Novi Clinic in Dublin. Samuel Van Eeeden is one of the surgeons there. They are priced to compete with other European clinics and if they are decent Id ideally prefer not to have to travel. I spoke to the doctor and he said that they will not have to shave the area which really suits as this will mean less downtime(what is the normal downtime for FUE). He also said they use the 'safe' method which means less transection damage. Can anyone help me out. Thanks
