  1. How's the hair coming Gatsu? Any updates?
  2. I don't know anything about the Institute, but SMG is the one you want. Dr Feller is very good, the same as Dr Paul and Ron Shapiro. You cannot go wrong with any of them.
  3. Shapiro Medical Group - Hair Transplantation and Hair Restoration Shapiro medical is the one you definitely want. NOT Shapiro Institute.
  4. I bet he is pleased with the result. It must be difficult to work with a small donor supply.
  5. Great result, Ron and Paul Shapiro are two of the very best surgeons around.
  6. I wouldn't say there is ' A Best' in hair restoration, but there are several very good surgeons who perform Fue. All the Doctors Levrais stated are very good. If costs are an issue and you like the sound of Feller then it is worth looking into Dr Lindsey, who is as good as him at FUE as him and charges 8$ a graft. Dr Feller trained him and is his partner. Spex has just had his hair done by Dr Lindsey again.
  7. I do agree that strip would be better than fue for your current hairloss. In Belgium, the recommended surgeons are Dr Bisanga,Dr Devroye and Dr Feriduni. I know some people recommend Dr Muamba but i don't know much about him. If travelling is not issue for you, then you would need to consider USA and Canada also. Armani is a lot more sinister, if you can see through his flashy marketing. Do some online searches.
  8. Hello Nik, welcome to the forum. Do you have any pictures of how your hair looks at the moment?] It is always helpful to see what position your hair is currently in, so forum members/Doctors can give you more feedback.
  9. I wouldn't let travelling be an issue. The best surgeons reside in USA, Canada and Belgium.
  10. In the last week, i have seen a lot of new shoots of transplanted hair and also native hair is starting to grow back in. Pictures were taken in harsh light and from a distance, so new fine hairs will not be very evident from them. It's early days but i am confident of the final outcome.
  11. The best thing you could do is make an appointment with several of the top doctors, who can diagnose your current hairloss and give you a plan of action to help you achieve your goals.
  12. Cost should NEVER be any option with hair transplants. He is probably charging 3 dollars a graft for a reason. You are better off paying more and getting it done correctly. Otherwise, you will be spending more money to repair the damage and you will reduce your limited supply of donor hair, which is precious for future hair loss down the line. That ideology does not work in this industry
  13. There is definitely a lot more growth and thickening to come.
  14. I don't think you can ever completely eliminate shockloss Buzz2, as you can see from different forum members transplant experiences. Sometimes it happens, sometimes it doesn't. However, it is reduced by a highly skilled surgeon and i wouldn't let that put you off. You can always use concealer to help you through that uncomfortable period.
  15. Welcome TommyTucker, great choice in Dr Feriduni.
  16. Congratulations Newhairplease. Looking forward to the pics.
  17. It's nice to see videos used as well as pictures of patient progress on here.
  18. I think you will have a good result with Dr Rahal. He is one of the very best but keep us all informed of your progress ihatebosely21.
