  1. I think your going to have a good result Spreadlocks, keep us posted with your progress.
  2. Best of luck with the second transplant Richie , keep us all posted.
  3. Best of luck NewhairPlease. The day has finally arrived.
  4. I think this hair transplant has helped myself become more patient, as it was always a poor trait of mine. How was your hair at 3months post surgery hairthere?
  5. NF89271 I would definitely mail Jotronic on here as he represents Hasson and Wong. They are one of the very best around and are far better than HRBR. You should be able to find a review of Blackrock on here and the reasons why they have not been recommended.
  6. Just updating my current situation to the forum. It's a couple of days past 3 months and decided to take some pictures in broad day light as if your hair looks good in bad light, it will look good in any light. I have been keeping my hair short and have been shaving it myself,so it might not be completely even but hopefully when hair starts to grow, i will grow it back longer again. Redness has improved significantly with it only slightly evident now. The scar looks fine to me and becomes less noticable as my hair grows longer, shaved my head bald 3 weeks ago. It will mature as future months elapse. Bit worried about frontal forelock as it was an area which i had native hair but was transplanted into further strengthen. As it stands it is not all there, so it would appear i have shockloss there, in which hopefully it comes back, but if it was on it's way out, there is not much i can do. I was also a bit worried to find that the point where the back of my forelock meets midscalp is a little thinner. It looks as though hairs are there, but they haven't been growing and i noticed this when i shaved my surrounding native hair at day 11. My hair has been long for years now, so i would have never noticed. Some of the transplanted hairs have stayed anchored and are growing and i have noticed new shoots coming in the last couple of days but it is not noticable by these pictures. Open to any comments but don't be too harsh as i am extremely sensitive But i think it will be a long slog and hopefully, i will have a big mop of hair ready to hit the beach in the summer
  7. I cannot believe it is that important Oceanchild as otherwise all surgeons would state in their post operative instuctions that it is essential and they don't.
  8. Hairsterical, have you got any updates? Been searching for results whilst on my break from my studies. 6 months looked great.
  9. Hi Irish 30 Do you have current updates of your hair surgery? I remember looking at your 7 month pictures a while back and thinking what a transformation you have had at such an early stage.
  10. That is fantastic Dr Lindsey, who needs fue with scarring like that
  11. I also think you will have a good result oceanchild.
  12. Dr Ziering did Jason Gardiners hair transplant, but he is not recommended on here and i would avoid him Andyjay. You cannot 'budget' for a hair transplant with arbitrary amount of money as in this industry, you cannot have a excellent cheap hair transplant. If they are cheap, it more often than not means they are bad and will waste your limited supply of donor hair, leave you scarred and needing further surgery. I have personal experience of this at the same age as you are now, when i had 'cheap surgery' in the Uk. It would be helpful if you posted clear pictures of your current hairloss to gain feedback.
  13. When you having your hair transplant Newhairplease?
  14. Hi Papillion, great account of your experience. Have you got any pictures of your current progress?
  15. DC111, I personally would advice you look even further than belgium as well. The US and Canada are where the highest number of elite surgeons reside and with the pound stronger against the dollar than the euro, it is definitely worth looking into. Hair transplants are for life and you may only get one, so you need to make sure you get the very best available as you do not want to have any regrets.
  16. Hello DC111.I am from Gloucestershire in the Uk and would strongly advise going abroad to get a hair transplant.Having had two failed transplants in the UK, I recently travelled to have my hair repaired in the USA by Dr Feller 3 months ago, which I am very satisfied. The Uk has a poor reputation in this field, and if i thought the service provided by any of the Uk clinics (Harley Street included) was good enough, i would have gone there myself. However, the standards are not good enough in my eyes and fall way below the standards abroad. You will get a better final result, which is also cheaper, due to the strong Uk exchange rate to other foreign currency. If you want good, honest advice, maybe you should contact Spex, who lives in the Nottingham Area.He is the best person in the Uk to speak to without doubt by a country mile and a great guy.
  17. He was the other one i was going to mention but i personally don't know much about him. I am sure other members on here will know.
  18. I would definitely go and see Dr Konior as well. He is excellent.
  19. Hi RonJohn. You have listed 3/4 of the very best surgeons there are around. If you are looking for Fue, Hasson and Wong do not perform Fue (only strip). Dr Feller has been performing Fue for the longest of the other two mentioned and trained Dr Rahal for Fue. I do agree with OrlHair1 that if you have already had strip, it is best to carry on with strip but ultimately that rests with you and your surgeon. You are in good hands who ever you decide to choose and best of luck.
  20. I wonder how many grafts Wayne Rooney would have left for a possible 2nd transplant?
