  1. It would only be beneficial to meet Spex in person as even though he represents Dr Feller and Dr Lindsey, his gives honest, unbiased advice, knowledge is very broad, and you will definitely feel rejuvenated to an extent just after a meet with him as his enthusiasm will rub off on you, making you feel more positive and this will set you in the right direction. Initially, i was a little apprehensive flying to New York as i am not keen on flying long distances but 6-8 hours is not that far, and you will have enough entertainment on the flight to keep you occupied. Do you want to hide it from your family because they disapprove?
  2. So you just want your hairline brought forward?
  3. Well it will take longer than a few months for the final result to be evident. I met up with Spex in London but i didn't have surgery until roughly 4 months after as i was still researching and looking at various clinics. I had planned to have another procedure to repair my scar and bad work from previous surgeries in the UK. Be nice to see a clearer picture.
  4. You can read my recent experience here on this link. http://www.hairrestorationnetwork.com/eve/163466-hair-transplant-dr-feller-new-york.html
  5. Hello there Bomberman. Have you got any more pictures? Looks like you have similar hairloss to me and similar age. I live in Gloucestershire,England and i recently travelled to New York to have my hair repaired by Dr Feller ( via FUT) just over 4 weeks ago, having had two poor transplants in the Uk(FUE and FUT). Dr Feller is an excellent surgeon( highly recommended on this forum as well as others) and you are in very good hands with him.
  6. Still looking good Gatsu. Where you from?
  7. Now the most difficult 3 month period has passed, the only way is up
  8. Looks very impressive after ten days
  9. Yes i would echo what Spex has just said. I live in the South West of England and i order my finasteride regularly from Dr Singh for a while. It ia well priced and you are definitely getting the real finasteride
  10. No it isn't a joke, I am not on this website to discuss politics.
  11. Yeah i do think he knows his stuff as he was president of the USA but Bernstein is good surgeon anyhow.
  12. Berstein is a clinical professor Dermatology at Columbia(Top US University) so he does know his stuff. He is a very good surgeon, however, he is a bit more conservative, which is understandable. I have realised, he doesn't post much on the forums but i thinks thats down to his philosophy.
  13. I had previously had a strip scar and an fue before, which were bad. All hair transplant surgery leaves scarring, but it can be very minimal if done correctly. It appears larger as my hair line was also brought forward slightly as well, making the area covered look larger and also transplanted within frontal tuft. I don't have the density/grafts breakdown but i can ask. Have a look on the computer screen if you get chance.
  14. Yes, there is some very good surgeons in belgium but less than the USA and Canada, smaller country.
  15. Hi Guapo. I don't think you can go wrong with with Dr Feller who is in Great Neck, Newyork. I have recently come from the Uk to have my previous hair transplant repaired by him and he is truely one of the best hair restoration surgeons worldwide. What stage are you out balding wise?
  16. It does surprise me how diverse post operative care is from surgeon to surgeon.
  17. Yes should be good results, you been washing yours once or twice a day?
  18. Yes, you have made an excellent choice. I had my surgery about 17 days agao with Dr Feller and had poor surgery in the UK from Norton and Fueclinics. Has your head scabbed much?
  19. Hello Irish Sailor. Where you from in the UK and where did you get your previous transplant in UK?
  20. Thanks for that, interesting to read and helpful.
  21. Percentage wise for the final result, how much is this down to the surgeons ability and how much is down to the patients aftercare? (hair quality/density/laxity etc aside) How many grafts would you expect to survive in an ideal situation from surgery to final result?
  22. You have some of the best doctors in the world in Canada( Rahal, Hasson&wong, Simons, others on here) so you will be fine in that respect. How do you think it would interfere with your athletic performance? I was of a very high level athletics and football in my younger years, so i am just curious. If you meet surgeon/s and you decide to go through with hair transplant surgery, its likely they will advise you in the consultation to go on finasteride, however, I could be wrong. I am not an surgeon or an expert but i have a better understanding then when i was younger
  23. I understand where you are coming from? Are you on any medication?
