  1. I am not sure what to make of that video. Opinions?
  2. Hopefully it should start to accelerate in the next couple of months petro_p but keep us posted.
  3. I think there is a long list Rock82 so many times larger than that, but unfortunately i don't think we will ever know the majority of cases
  4. Well it looks as though Pat knew this ages ago
  5. That makes them sound even worse Keithh
  6. Exactly right Mars. I don't really watch X-factor etc but my family do, so i don't know what his hair looked like before and how many grafts he would need or has had.
  7. It's the British tabloids, what do you expect
  8. X Factor judge Louis Walsh has ?30K hair transplant after Simon Cowell jibe - mirror.co.uk I found this earlier today and thought i would post it. Never actually heard of this clinic, but the clinic is charging 10 EURO per fut graft (use XE to translate to your currency) 13.20$ 8.46 GBP I don't believe their results warrant this high pricing for fut and i am confident the majority of surgeons listed on here are better and more reasonably priced. The reason for posting is no doubt, their enquiries will increase like any surgeon who has the exposure of performing a 'celebrity hair transplant' but potential customers need to know there are better options available.
  9. Thanks for the reply southbeacharchi. Should have phrased that better, my mistake sorry. I do care about the scar in donor area, but preference is the recipient. Actually slipped my mind regarding swimming so thanks for reminding me.
  10. The stretching of an fut scar is mentioned a lot in these type of threads but is there anyone who has trained hard after hair transplant surgery (weight training in particular) and still had good results? Personally, its more important to me regarding the the growth of recipient area( which is the reason why i had a transplant) than the area which will be hidden with hair. However, i don't want to stretch the scar if it reduces my donor supply, if thats possible?
  11. I personally think that Actors/sports stars/singers/famous businessmen (all celebs) should be honest and admit if they have. They would command more respect from men for it. Celebs are humans just the same as anyone else and are not superhuman. Believe it or not they still eat, sleep and ..... like everyone else. Now, i am sure the coalition of surgeons have had several famous clients, who they have performed transplants and wanted to remain anonymous, so why don't we ask them
  12. The industry needs more guys like joetronic and spex. They are the eighth wonder of the world
  13. I think when females say 'bald', they mean a person would no to moderate hairloss with hair shaven down to a length between grade 0-4. This is different to a man with the term 'bald' with norwood level 7, who has little hair. Any woman out of choice will prefer the 'option' of hair on a man.
  14. It doesn't look bad, but people were amazed how thick it was so early on. He is probably the most famous person I know of to come out and freely admit his surgery. Being a famous footballer/soccer player, he is under daily exposure and it’s a lot more difficult to hide than a Hollywood star that does one film a year. But with his level of baldness, any procedure would have been evident and the added factor of the british press pursuing his every move would make it impossible.
  15. Yes, i do agree it is more realistic representation of what it should be in the post period of his hair transplant. Did anyone ever find out how many fue grafts he had?
  16. Wayne Rooney's hair appears to be thinning... just months after ?30,000 transplant | Mail Online I think Wayne forgot to dye his hair this month and he also forgot to use his concealer Wayne Rooneys early exponential hair growth was nothing short of sensational after a couple of months but then again this is from a Uk Clinic and most of them cannot be trusted unfortunately. They were going to get found out eventually but it is around the 6-7 month point, so he still has more growth yet hopefully.
  17. These are my pictures taken from 7 and half weeks post op, taken today. All the early paranoia and worry slowly drained away and looking forward to the 12 week point in a months time. Scar looks fine, better centrally and on the right hand side than left hand side. I don't think i did myself any favours starting weights again around week 6 and after a couple of sessions, i refrained, so may have caused it to be stretched slightly. I think have some shock loss from native hair and previous transplanted hair in some areas, which may or may not return but i have to wait and see in the next few months. It has been a long while since i had my hair this short but open to comments and questions. And as you may see, I am not afraid to reveal the ugly mug J
