Senior Member SunnyCool3 Posted May 19, 2015 Author Senior Member Share Posted May 19, 2015 I am noticing that hair are getting thicker & attaining better texture. However I am not sure if I have seen any new hair which is very unlikely at this stage. It seems its all abt hair getting more stronger and better which is the case for now. Senior Member Squatch Posted May 19, 2015 Senior Member Share Posted May 19, 2015 One of those super shocking results. Looks like a full head of hair. I don't think anyone would ever know you were even dealing with hair loss. Now get back to work! Like you said.... At this point when I run my fingers through my hair it is feeling fuller. Just started Fin last week, we will see if that changes anything. Senior Member SunnyCool3 Posted May 19, 2015 Author Senior Member Share Posted May 19, 2015 Thanks Bro. Without a doubt, Propecia works! It's been around 9 months I am on it and I can defo say that it stops hair loss. Whether it helps growing new hair? I'll see. May be after using it for 2 years or so I will be in a better situation to answer that.
Senior Member Janna Posted May 19, 2015 Senior Member Share Posted May 19, 2015 While you've experienced the biggest change within your progress, I don't see why you won't get more thickening and even a little more hair growth in the next 5-6 months. Thus far, you're result is looking superb! Thanks again for keeping consistent progress updates!! Senior Member hadenough2014 Posted May 20, 2015 Senior Member Share Posted May 20, 2015 Looks very natural and full, Sunny. You've got a top 5% result. I agree the texture is changing for the better. My hair feels softer and my hand or a comb flows through it better now after 7 months. I can still feel some emergence mid scalp and back to the crown, which is great that it is possible to continue seeing new growth for an "earlier grower" this far into the process. I wasn't sure if that would happen since I saw so much growth in months 3 & 4. It has been fun watching your progression along with mine since we went to SMG within 3 days of each other back in October and had almost the same number of grafts. I think we are both getting great results.
Senior Member SunnyCool3 Posted May 20, 2015 Author Senior Member Share Posted May 20, 2015 hadenough2014, thanks a lot for the feedback bro. I am very pleased with the results and truly thankful to SMG for all the help. As Janna mentioned it should get better in next 4 to 5 months or so. If we see some more growth, that will be a huge bonus. I remeber the day we chatted.. kinda like 7 months back and you shared experience you had with SMG.... & it's been a great transformation since then for both of us. Let us be grateful to SMG for the tremendous help There has been a a complete change in my appearance in last 7 months. I look much different, better & younger. Senior Member SunnyCool3 Posted June 26, 2015 Author Senior Member Share Posted June 26, 2015 (edited) Hi Guys, It's been just over 8 months post OP. I am observing good progress as hair is looking thicker & better. I've seen more thickening in the mid scalp area in last 4 weeks or so. I am posting some pics; feedback is welcome as always. I think Propecia has started working on the crown area but still I've way to go. I can say for sure that I don't loose any hair in the crown area or elsewhere however I'll confirm in next few weeks/months if crown area is getting new hair. So overall it looks excellent. I would like to add more to the crown and improve on the side temples. Edited June 26, 2015 by SunnyCool3
