Dr. Raymond Konior
This is a 47 year old man who requested restoration of his frontal hairline. In addition to the usual requests for naturalness and acceptable density, he was especially focused on having a “quick heal” so that he could return to work and social interaction in a short period of time without any evidence of having undergone a procedure. The risk of detectability was discussed in great detail and it was decided that the goal of rapid healing, so as to minimize shock and recipient site pinkness, was to have a higher priority over density. The patient underwent placement of 2622 grafts. Graft placement was performed using a non-shave implantation technique so as to assist immediate postoperative camouflage using his preexisting native hair. Presented are one year postoperative photos. Regular Member Yogo Posted November 17, 2011 Regular Member Share Posted November 17, 2011 I am the above patient and could not be happier. I appreciated Dr. Konior listening to my concerns about detectabilty and then following through. After 2 weeks I was back to work and no one noticed. I basically tried to forget about it and enjoyed seeing improvement month afer month. I intentionally told no one except my wife of course, not because I was ashamed of having the procedure, but because I wanted people to look at me for who I am as a person, not for my hair. I must admit though, I am enjoying all the comments aboout how I look younger, or I look like I lost weight or what a nice haircut. I waited a long time to take care of my hairloss and I am glad that I did the research and found the right Doctor.

Senior Member Spanker Posted November 22, 2011 Senior Member Share Posted November 22, 2011 I agree, this is as natural is it can get. Glad to see this gentleman is happy with his results too. Makes me wonder why more docs do not offer the no shave option. I have seen quite a few from Konior and T and D. Regular Member Yogo Posted February 27, 2012 Regular Member Share Posted February 27, 2012 (edited) I just scheduled Round II with Dr. Konior. My goal this time will be to refine and thicken my hairline and address the crown. I would love to do it tomorrow, but realize that Dr. Konior books way in advance. Regular Member Yogo Posted September 4, 2012 Regular Member Share Posted September 4, 2012 I am now 1 month post-op from my second procedure with Dr. Konior. This procedure focused primarily on my crown with a few grafts distributed in the front to enhance my hairline. I received a total of 2250 gratfts and approximately two-thirds of them were placed in my crown. I had an excellent result from my first procedure and my goal this time was to basically fill the crown and make my hair look just better. Just as last time, the procedure went very smoothly. Because I now have more hair than before the first procedure, this procedure was even more undectable. I returned to work after 10 days with no one noticing a thing. Totally stealth! Now, I will just wait for the results and I do not expect I will be looking every day as I did last time! I have no pictures to post as I look exactly as I did before. I will post after everything fills in.

Senior Member Spanker Posted September 6, 2012 Senior Member Share Posted September 6, 2012 Mine was under the radar as well, but mine was a smaller session. The only time I had to own up to it was when I got my hair cut because my hair was shaved in the front. Well, then and at the hotel right after surgery, but that was just because I knew I would never see them again and just told them.
