  1. Thanks again for replying Dr, Its very helpful to see the thought processes that you have to go through when designing temples and planning for the future.
  2. Haha damnit! How are you finding wearing the buzzed look? All the best for the future, you chose to go with a great clinic so every reason to suspect the result will be great
  3. This is exceptional, dense and natural, beatiful result, the patient must be delighted. Is there any way of predicting the pattern of future loss and thus when/if he will need to touch this up? i.e, was there any miniaturisation occuring behind the transplanted areas or in the temples. Obviously he has plenty left in the bank whatever happens, im just curious to know if there are any tell tale signs of what the future may bring
  4. I think hes a trendsetter, If he wore that on a catwalk youd soon see it everywhere! Work looks great, this should be a fantastic result, hes in great hands
  5. Hariri can you explain why you say that once you have FUE forget about FUT please? I wasnt aware this was an issue?
  6. Thats already growing in very nicely so that must be a relief to see it coming through with no trouble and still so much more to come. All the best
  7. Spanker and NHP thanks for chipping in. Just to be clear however, my post was referring to FUE not FUT. I know that some Drs are prepared to go up to 500 or so and it was my understanding that was about the upper limit, but i could swear i saw that SMG can go up to 2000, just seemed incredible to me, im sure i must have the wrong end of the stick! Im also curious to see mountainvans question answered too as that too is something im very ignorant on. Good luck with Dr.Konior spanker and also on your MBA.
  8. Ive been looking around trying to establish differences between different clinics with regard the shaving of the head for FUE. In a thread showing SMG results it seemed that a patient with them had a lot of grafts placed without being shaved and in a comment I noticed Janna said that they can do up to 2000 without having to shave (Apologies if this is a misquote Janna, im still convinced ive somehow got the wrong end of the stick!). My questions are, are you aware of other clinics upper limits, if that number is correct thats by far and away the highest Ive seen. If it is correct, why do many other clinics not feel comfotable going above a small amount of a few hundred grafts. Finally, is it advisable no matter what to shave, does the risk of losing grafts increase dramatically if you dont shave?
  9. Definately Orlhair, he now looks like he has a natural head of hair, no one would suspect a thing. Another example of how many receders can have a huge cosmetic difference with under 2000 grafts.
  10. Thanks, I asked regarding shaving as unless im getting my wires crossed it is my understanding that SMG can do FUE sessions of up to 2000 without shaving, I would love for someone to clarify this if anyone else knows, as it does seem way too good to be true. Also, that is more than reasonable pricing, how much was travel and accomodation roughly? I would require roughly the same amount of grafts as yourself and I had planned on staying in Europe but at those prices i may well reconsider...
  11. Baldwhiskey, I have seen on some other forums i use that ProHair have been flooding the boards with new HT's so it will be very interesting to see how they grow out over the next few months. I think ill always be uneasy, very cheap and no 'surgeon' so to speak, but i will watch with interest. Time to do something, Im sorry you had a bad experience, seems Ron Shapiro is quite the philanthropist! Ron if your reading, im in need too! (Im not really but boy would i love to let him at my hair for one day!)
  12. HookHairs this looks very tidy, I like the design, strong but natural. How much did this cost you in total or how much does Dr Rahal Charge for FUE (am I allowed to ask this on public forums?) Thanks Also, anyone know (Matt J perhaps), what is the maximum grafts that Rahal will transplant FUE without shaving down?
  13. Haha you will look back at this thread in a few months time with fond memories with a tonne of new hair on your head, liberated from these frustrations, so feel safe in the knowledge that its all coming along! Just read your blog, so how many grafts have you got left and how much of that head of hair is all natural so to speak?
  14. Pro hair clinc belgium are the cheapest i have seen for FUE, they are popular on some of the other boards I frequent, I quite wonder what the HT veterans of this site would make of them? I have seen consistent and well documented results but as far as I understand, its a group of technicians, not one surgeon (apologies to all if this is all mis-information). Bisanga is 5 euros first 1000 grafts, 3 euros per graft therafter and you will be getting a top surgeon imo. Edited to say that for 2500 grafts, pro hair price would be 5750, its on their site. It says the surgeon is dr schrapen but from my unerstanding the techs do everything, i would love it if anyone else knew more about these and could chip in as frankly i havent got a scooby doo
  15. That is falling very nicely, good area covered too. He still has a reasonable amount of scalp to cover, will this patient be able to acheive a similar appearence of density through the midscalp and crown?
  16. No problem, but you have a long way to go before its too late so try not to worry though i know its difficult. Just make sure you do plenty of research. One thing i completly forgot to mention is if you were to see a dermatologist they would be able to diagnose you with loss or not so that might be a good place to start
  17. Finesteride is the best drug but you need to do some serious research and you are young to be taking hormone altering drugs. Minoxidil will grow some back but it wont halt the balding process like finesteride and Nizoral is a good shampoo. Also supplements such as biotin are good for general hair health though wont help reverse loss. You can use concealers on the crown if it appears worse than it is here again these do nothing to halt loss but can make it look better. You can also use thickening shampoos which can cosmetically thicken your hair. Take your time, consider these options and try not to worry Hair loss medications are something that you will need to take for the whole time you want to keep your hair so i wouldnt jump on them until necessary. You still seem confused, one second your balding, next your hair is the best.
  18. Good luck Yugo, I look forward to seeing how you get on, round one was already a knockout in my opinion!
