  1. I am sorry to hear your story. I am sure there are two sides and unless there was a contract it is hard to prove. I'm not sure of the rules in Turkey but you cant post the email with the patients name and email. This is breaking patient-doctor confidentiality and since you worked at the office you are probably breaking the law. I understand that you are emotional but you need to mask the names and email of these patients if you want to post their emails. I am surprised that nobody wears masks while working in the surgery room. Good luck to you!
  2. Depending how quick your transplant grew your hair might be settling. With some patients the hair continues to thicken through the first year. Sometimes to becomes a bit curly and can give you an illusion of more hair. Then with time the hair usually straighten out and because more manageable. Just my opinion.
  3. As many of you know I help Italians patients. I have met a lot of patients in the past (although less lately thanks to the internet) that have gone to DHI. So I would pass on this offer. As for Spex he is honest and discloses his affiliation with doctors. Whether you like it or not he doesn't hid that. Of course your decision shouldn't be based on strictly what one poster says you should study and research as much as possible because there will always be some bias when you represent a clinic. I help Hasson and Wong. In my opinion they are the best in the world. But I am not on this website to tell people to go to Hasson and Wong. I don't get paid or asked to promote the clinic. I am here to help and as long as a patient choses a good doctor and gets a great result I am happy to help.
  4. In my opinion this could mean a few things. One is that you didn't wash aggressively enough and the grafts was stuck in the slit without being able to shed. If this is the case follicle is still in tact and the hair will still grow. The other is that it is indeed a dead graft that wasn't placed properly therefore the grafts/follicles didn't attach and no hair will grow. Regardless it is only a few and will not make a difference in the final outcome.
  5. I agree with a lot of what you said. I also saw the article but will keep me opinion to myself. I like the rating system because it allows posters to express their thoughts on the quality of the photos or video. I don't think you need a third party just someone in the clinic that can take proper before and after pictures. 100% agree with this. I take a lot of pride for being honest. I take it personally when I feel something isn't right on this website. Kudos to the moderators!
  6. LOL that was not my intentions. PRP has been around for many years but I have never seen a great before and after picture (when only doing PRP) that convinces me that it works. It is possible that it makes a small difference so for 300 euros you may want to take the chance. The Italians in Italy can pay over 1000-1500 euros for PRP. Regardless you have picked a great surgeon and will have a great result.
  7. I have met a lot of Italians that have had PRP and none saw any difference in it. The only difference is that their wallet became smaller. In my opinion and my years of experience I have to agree with this.
  8. I would consult as many doctors as you can. This website will help and educate you a lot.
  9. I have heard some better reviews about Artas but still I agree nothing is better than human hands to FUE. I am not sure if Dr. Charles offers manual FUE but you should ask him this. If you are willing to travel within America I would also look at Dr. Konair. In my opinion he is the best American doctor. I am sure the average is higher. But if 10 friends did a transplant with 10 random doctors (not recommended) I am sure one would have an average result.
  10. I think the doctors gave you some good advice. 2500 grafts will make a different but I would wait one year on meds before making a decision. In my opinion with so many fine hairs in the crown there is no way to transplant in that area without damaging exciting hair. I am basing this on your photo and I maybe wrong. You have a lot of fine hair in your crown that typically respond very well to Finasteride. There is a chance that will meds you may not even need a transplant right away.
  11. This is the link Hair Transplant Network - Find Hair Transplant Clinics and Doctors Thanks at the end its important that you chose a good doctor. You learned the hard way that 90% of hair transplant doctors are below average. This website will teach you a lot.
  12. Letitgrown. I am giving you Dr. Charles because he is in your area. He has a great reputation and is recommended by this website. At the end the final decision is yours. I would research as much as possible and check out the example of different doctors on this website. I would not base my decision on location only. You didn't get a hair transplant to use dema match everyday. I am sure in the next few days you will have more posters responding with their suggestions.
  13. Opps I must have missed that but he mentioned it on his first post that it was Dr. Slusher. I think he uses the Neograft. I agree!
  14. His name is Dr Glenn Charles and he is in Boca Raton This is his profile Glenn Charles, D.O. Hair Transplant Surgeon in Boca Raton, Florida This is his website http://www.charlesmedicalgroup.com/ This is a list of the recommended doctors. Hair Transplant Network - Find Hair Transplant Clinics and Doctors Hopefully that helps.
  15. Its hard to tell by your photos but it appears that you are correct. I have never heard of Dr. Slusher but I agree you should wait 12 months to see the final result I recommend you go for a consult with Dr. Charles. Good luck!
  16. Thanks I didn't know that. It should be posted on his signature. Even though its not high def it does show a lot more than the photos.
  17. I don't think you need a professional photographer just somebody in a clinic that feels comfortable doing it. JohnCasper; Why don't you start and get some great high def video and photos of your result. Since you are an online rep I think this is important. Don't get me wrong I think you have a great result and seem to be a great guy. I just think you could have a better presentation of your result especially when you represent a doctor.
  18. I always believe there should be some sort of rating system on pictures posted by clinics. It should be from 1-5 (5 being excellent) that way doctors are aware of that posters are able to tell the difference. Whenever I see lower than average pictures nobody comments and the doctor either is unaware or just don't get it. This should be a standard and not an exception. The high def video camera cost less than $500 so there should be no excuse. In my opinion most doctors don't want to do this because it can take away from the result.
  19. America's Baldest Presidents: A President's Korner Slideshow There has been bald presidents. I have trouble understanding what the point of these questions are when the facts are wrong. Once again I ask you if you are affiliated with a clinic it should be posted on your signature.
  20. I haven't seen any of his result that are mind blowing. Maybe he doesn't have the staff to do a lot of grafts or the experience. I have not seen any bad results but no cases that I would consider a huge transformation. Some doctor work in their comfort zone which there is nothing wrong with. Again this is my opinion.
  21. I deal with a lot of Italian celebrities. Soccer players, coaches, actors, singer, politicians amongst others. Most of them are very popular in Italy but not so much in Canada unless you are Italian. I remember once a popular actor came for a transplant and wanted no one to know he was there. Its so happened that week there were 5 Italians there. It was not easy and a few Italians patients asked me if he was a certain actor I kept saying no he is American. Regardless you will be surprised how many people don't care about your transplant. Women get their breast done and show them off. Men get a hair transplant and try to hide it.
  22. Typically 6 months most patients are anywhere between 40-70% of the final result. What is important at this point is that the hair is starting to grow. Now the next few months your hair should thicken quite a bit for usually up to 1 year. I am not saying this is the case in your situation but you need to stay patient and wait. Good luck!
  23. Dr. Shapiro and Dr. Charles are both great doctors. Why not email them and ask them for their opinion. I am sure they would be more than happy to assist you.
  24. aymino It appears that you have mostly based your decision on location. I do not know much about Dr. Knedson but this doesn't mean you will not get a good result. Although if it was me I would have to be 100% confidence of this big decision and it sounds like you aren't. Basing your decision on price and location can be a recipe for disaster. I remember a few years ago I talked to a gentlemen that decided instead of going to a reputable doctor he was going to Asia (unknown doctor). He figures that even with two surgeries instead of one he would save a lot of money. At the end he only saved $2000 and is now saving his money to be repaired. I am not saying this is going to happen but he convinced himself that he was making the right decision. Good luck and sorry for hijacking this post.
