  1. I really like his work too, and he may be just around that price range. You only need a little bit.
  2. As a homo sapien I take offense to being compared to monkeys… this is racist please ban or I will make a thread about it… 😝
  3. I have a lot of respect for both Hasson and wong. I wasn’t being passive aggressive when I said he is an elite doctor. I am not giving your transplant flak. I think despise the rows your results will looks great. hair in nature doesn’t grow in horizontal rows making transplants done in a row less natural appearing. It won’t matter much cause your rows are in the back so they serve the purpose to cover the scalp. It is usually more unnatural when don’t at the frontal hairline. was just wondering why he preferred that method, as his partner Dr hassons work looks a bit more “natural” to me. But we are talking about the top 1% ers here, so not that much difference.
  4. oh an online bully. This forum is not about sucking up to anyone. Any and all docs get criticized at the same time I give accolades when I think they are deserved. Diep gets lots of flakes for transplanting in a row and rightfully so, so no reason wongs work can’t be questioned. sorry you are butt hurt about it. Your fine hair and your baldy crown with that ugly attitude won’t be dabbing on anyone, let alone me.
  5. It was a rhetorical question and criticism of his work.
  6. Not to question an elite doc, but why does Dr Wong transplant in horizontal rows. U can tell from a mile this is dr wongs work
  7. Yes I agree, but THIS clinic has some talented techs. The work looks beautiful.
  8. This is going the be look amazing. Man I was giving the doctor a lot of flake in the other thread for not being present in surgery, but damn his techs are amazing.
  9. Hello, I want to be educated. So let’s say if someone is hiv positive, but with detectable viral, should a clinic tell them to wait till they are undetectable? Also the meds work for everyone? I have heard this is resistance with some genotype. what should be a good testing protocol? Get a viral load a week before the surgery? you can pm me
  10. for a regular surgery straight forwards. multiple your rate of extraction/ hours by the number of extractions, and the rate of placement per hour. Then add in couple hours for lunch and bathroom breaks repair surgeries are a lot harder to predict as the extractions can go easily or be very difficult. On top of that even if you try your best you always leave something behind, and have to go back and remove it. sometimes its just not possible to remove it due to the location of another excision Maybe now you understand why Dr Cooley requested to see you in person, and Dr Konior recommended multiple sessions.
  11. Konior doesn't use a rep and does all his own consults that easily last an hour. doubt it was him
  12. temple restoration are doable by Dr Pekkiner cause he does stick and place. the problem is with a limited supply do you want to use up 10-20% of your grafts on temples or rather have a dense hair on top. For most people sacrificing temples for density on top will have a better cosmetic impact. For a select few it can make sense to restor temples
  13. hey dont be devastated. My points are simply a generalization. you are still early and it can still be a good results, and even if its not, you still have a lot of ammunition to work with for future.
  14. welcome to the world of hair transplants. The one criticism I have is the donor extractions are by done by non physicians. you really think that an employee getting paid 20 euros and hour will have the same level of commitment as the doctor whose name is on the surgery? The second criticism I have is the extractions are taken clearly out of Safe donor area. I know FUE surgeries tend to push the boundaries with regards to SDA, but this particular photos they are extracting straight from almost the crown areas. If those were the hair transplanted into your right side, they may have not grown as between their natural hair death cycle and trauma of hte surgery they may have said peace out. Having said that it is not a bad result and you are early. I would wait 12 months before judging and if needed go for a top up. 3000+ grafts for that area i think is too much in one pass. It may have overloaded the circulatory capacity of your scalp. Think of a field receiving water by irrigation. If it has enough water for 1000 trees but you plant 2000 the results will suffer. i think similar concept applies in hair transplant.
  15. iodine deficiency and hypothyroidism would be the only thing that could cause thyroid problem in everyone at once. But I assume u live in a normal city, where most salts are iodized so doubt it owuld be an issue.
  16. it may. and he may lose some hair. so what he lives his entire life not liking the baldness instead of going for it. If it does thin, he will get top ups and touchups to improve it.
  17. What country are u in? Get thyroid, iron ,levels and lead poisoning checked.
  18. That’s bizzare. Fungal scalp infections don’t cause generalize hair loss. It’s patchy. Look up times capitis. This sound like a nutritional deficiency or environmental exposure. Can you post a picture of your scalps?
  19. Lol right. If you go buy 1oz gold for 200$ then wonder if it was real or fake? While pricing is not everything one should be skeptical of severely under priced clinics .
  20. Photos look poor. Seems like a bad clinic. Sorry to say you got bamboozled.
