  1. you literally changed my decision to go with Cosmedica with your video before I took the trip to turkey. I didn't choose a better alternative unfortunately. i would love to do an interview.
  2. Hi guys, thanks for taking time to read my experience. I have wrote a more detailed account of the doctor (Dr Tayfun) Thank you again
  3. Topic: 3500 extract, 1350 implanted This was the first Hair procedure I have ever done and probably will ever do. With Dr Tayfun Oguzoglu, Home | Dr. Tayfun Oguzoglu (drtayfun.com) Dr. Tayfun Oguzoglu - best hair surgeon turkey Official website: Dr. Tayfun Oguzoglu - DrT Hair Best Hair Transplant Clinic I have asked around before possibly defaming a professional doctor (Tayfun Oguzoglu), and visited another hair transplant surgeon and received similar feedback as I was expecting that I got ~3500 extracted and ~1350 implanted Details: 1.Booked a Turkish clinic to perform "DHI" with choi pens with Dr Alev, under supervision of Dr Tayfun 2.Reputable doctor a part of the American Board of Hair Restoration society. 3. The doctor wrote and signed the following: 3.1DHI with choi pens 3.2 doctor to extract 3.3, 5 technicians to perform harvest and implant. 3.4 3500 follicles 3.5 $1600 USD What I got was the following: I arrive at the clinic, the process was very efficient and was as follows all in the same day 1. Accounting They charged me the remainder of the money owed to them, $300 deposit paid a month before $1300 on the day 2. Consultation An interpreter accompanied me for the whole time I was there. Doctor consulted with me for roughly 3 minutes, drew a hairline using a laser guide, drew a line which wasn't very symmetrical, she had to redo it. I asked for 2500 front and 1000 planted on the crown. She was genuinely nice. Dr Tayfun stopped and talked in Turkish with Dr Alev. He looked at my head and went away. He did not talk to me. 3. Hair trim I was taken to another room where my photo was taken, my hair cut, the young fellow who cut my hair was more of a butcher. He washed my hair in a hurry and when my hair was finished i touched my scalp and noticed lots of tiny hair offcuts left on my scalp. Concerned about infection I asked him to wash it more, to which he responded: its fine, go, go, and insisted that I follow the interpreter. 4. Interpreter took me across the road into a clinic where the technicians were waiting for me. Very efficiently they took my clothes off, gowned me and gave me a few tablets, one of which was endone to manage pain. 5. I laid on the bed and the surgery began. They drew blood from my right arm and applied local anesthetics. I told the doctor about my not so clean scalp, she gave it a wipe and said something in turkish, she was super nice. I head Dr Tayfun come in for a few seconds talk to the team and leave again. At this stage, there were 2 people in the room 6. Around ~3400 incision, it took a lot of concentration but I stayed on point even though I was high on endone. The incision was performed extremely fast. The extraction videos on youtube averaged about 1 follicle every secound or so but mine was done at 2 or even 3 per second. It was super fast. At this time there were 2 people in the room, the doctor and a technician. 7. The surgery started around 9.30 and by around 12 they had finished the extraction, and implated about 50 using Choi pens on the front line. At this time there were 2 people in the room, the doctor and a technician. 8.The choi pens felt very dull and the doctor struggled at times to push the pens in. They were doing 1 choi pen every 10 seconds. 9. After lunch at around 12.30 pm the technician and doctor came back and continued, this time they didn't use choi pens, the doctor started punching in holes with what seemed to be a very sharp scalpel. She was punching holes very fast at around ~1.5 holes every second. The doctor did not say or explain why she stopped using choi pens, i suspect because they were dull. 10. After the incision was over another technician walked is, a young gentleman who started dividing the follicles into hair counts. The doctor asked him to prepare the 4 haired follicles for the front in turkish (I know a bit of turkish). 11. 2 technician and the doctor performed until it was all over at around 3.30. 12. They wrapped the donor area and sent me home. After the surgery: After a day I took photos of the donor area and transplant area and found the following: 1. 346 was planted on my crown 2. ~1000 at my front. 3. I counted using photo and doting in the implanted with my S22 galaxy ultra phone which has an amazing photo quality and a pen which could let me dot the hairs and count them. 4. I contacted the doctor and asked why they didnt use choi pen to which they responded: the did FUE method to get high density. The density I have implanted is at around 12 /cm2. 5. I asked why I got 3500 extracted and 1350, they assured me that I counted wrong and that there really is 3500 implanted. Dr Tayfuns response to my Email complaint: Dear Mr. --------------------- First of all we thank you for your interest in our clinic. We are very sad to hear that you are not satisfied with the operation and can not understand your way of thinking, although not even 10 days have passed since the procedure, and the healing is not over yet. We want to let you know that DrT is a clinic of doctors, where the operations only are done by the doctors and the helping nurse team, who were also brought up by the doctors themselves. Since around 30 Years of my experience as Dr. Tayfun Oğuzoğlu in DrT Clinic we have always done our best to show our patients the right care and approach, which we will continue to do. Within these 30 years we have had thousands of happy patients that are our proof. As for your complaints, I have many colleagues who do this job and some of them were trained by me. However, no hair transplant doctor counts hair or grafts and knows that this is not scientific and would not put themself in such a funny situation. Especially in the post-operative period, this cannot be done because the doctor knows very well that some hair grafts cannot be seen clearly during this period and may even fall out. If he or she is a hair transplant doctor who counted the grafts for you, I ask you to please get his name and contact information and send it to us. İ want to take his real ideas and find out how he performed this miracle. Because we have never seen a doctor who can count grafts/hair in this way, or we have not come across such a presentation in any scientific congress. On the other hand, hair counting can be done with only 2 devices in the world, 1 year after the surgery. Apart from this, no scientist or doctor can say that 'I counted with my eyes that the number is that much'. To sum up, I would like to remind you that you have to send us the pictures on the relevant days in accordance with the consent form you have signed in our clinic and that you accept responsibility for. However, as far as I can see in the pictures you send us, the crusts still remain even after the 2nd week. These crusts may affect your results negatively by disrupting the circulation of the grafts and the skin. Based on my 30 years of experience, instead of dealing with questions like 'you did not implant my 2000 Grafts', you can try to get the best result by focusing on post op recovery. You can reach our clinic by sending an e-mail to info@drthair.com from now on. Best regards Dr. Tayfun Oguzoglu I would've never posted or perused this if the grafts harvested was the same as implanted, even if I got 50 taken out and 50 put in I wouldn't. I am devastated and absolutely heartbroken that I have ~2000 irreplaceable grafts possibly thrown out due to lack of time. If so then Dr Tayfun Oguzoglu is truly scum of the earth for wasting my only hope of getting some of my self-confidence back.
  4. I was hoping I could get some opinion before naming them especially if I might be wrong here. But it is scary to be missing 2000 grafts.
  5. I've been using various Lasers from hair max to an ebay cap over the past 12 years. comparing photos my hair loss has almost stopped since using. Hairmax comb laster me 3 years while the ebay caps been going 5 years strong so far.
