  1. I agree with that. You are already and advanced Norwood 5A possibly heading towards Nw 6. There are only a handful few good options in India. Eugenix is the best in India of course. No doubt about that. Even though no clinic is perfect and even Eugenix have their bad cases on this forum too. So hair transplant is also a gamble. Do your research first. Get on Finasteride/Dutasteride immediately. Your hairloss is agressive and already significant. Be mindful that such a degree of baldness will require several procedures to get decent coverage (at least 2 and maybe even 3) All the best
  2. Nuking people's hairline ? What did you hear that bro ? Actually Dutasteride is more likely to save your hairline no matter the theoritical increase in follicular testosterone. If you are worried just throw in some RU or eucapil to balance things out.
  3. Very good result. Congrats to Eugenix You have curly hair so it definitely helps with the illusion.
  4. Yeah I'd go with 2000 grafts maximum for your 1st procedure. Remember things can alwaus go wrong even with the best and your grafts are limited.
  5. Yes lichen can look similar to Androgenic Alopecia sometimes although it's more similar to a bald spot on the midscalp or crown. It doesn't look like androgenic alopecia at its early stages (diffuse thinning or hairline recession). Lichen or Scarring alopecia can definitely sabotage the outcome of a hair transplant. I remember a case of a guy who got a bad result from Dr Emorane Lupanzula...he was extremely angry and upset but it turned out it was actually lichen planopilaris. Lupanzula and his rep didn't give a s*** afterwards. And also another guy that EvansLawrence talked about. I think he also left the clinic bad reviews on google and youtube. Dude had a bad result from HLC and the guy apparently had lichen too. So the point is surgeons are surgeons. They are not trichologists. They don't care about you. They want to operate on you and take your money. After all they run a business so....Sad but true. Therefore, you have to do your own homework before undergoing such big, risky and expensive procedure Hair transplant is a huge deal. Visit a very good trichologist before your surgery. Do a biopsy if required. You really wanna maximize the chances of sucess.
  6. Like I said, you have some very early signs of ongoing miniaturization for sure but you need to give oral Dutasteride and oral minoxidil some time. AT LEAST a good 6 months and preferably a year. Due to the nature of the human follicular growth cycle, these drugs do not work overnight. I am sure you will get a good response from medication since you started earlier than anyone else here. So really no need to worry. Dutasteride 2.5mg supresses follicular DHT levels over 90+. Oral minoxidil is a very potent anagen stimulant. This is the best combo that exists. I know Dr. Zarev is not a big fan of finasteride unlike other surgeons but I guess he will tell you the exact same thing. Just stay on a strong pharmaceutical protocol and give it some time. I don't think any reputable doctor he would agree to transplant in between so many existing native hairs and I honestly really do not think it would be in your best interest. I have seen many diffuse thinners get really bad results from hair transplants. You can also throw in some topical anti androgens like RU, CB, eucapil microneedling etc...Check out Kevin and Derek's channels. 👍 Dr. Oscar Muñoz and Dr. Sergio Vaño also have some content regarding those topics. All the best
  7. New sprouting after 6 months is highly unlikely due to the natural follicular cycle. It's all about maturation and refinement now. Your result is excellent. I don't think it could possibly be better. Don't worry about the remaining weak spot on the crown. A touch-up of 500 grafts will do the trick.
  8. You're totally right and I agree with you Lot of money spent. Lot stress, lot of waiting and the end big disapointment. The positive thing though is that your hair is even't bad. You still have a very nice strong midscalp and crown so you can do whatever haircut you want and style your hair the way you want.
  9. Type "injerto capilar lorenzo" on youtube. The videos are very interesting but please be careful his clinic is just another hairmill in Madrid.
  10. Wow sorry for your bad experience. I was still pretty optimistic in my last post at 5-6 months but now I took a closer look at your 7-month pictures and now I don't believe there is going to be a substantial improvement anymore. This is not the first subpar result I see from him unfortunately. I remember seeing excellent work from John Diep in the past but recently there have been many subpar results. His method of harvesting also is questionable by multiples aspects. Maybe he changed something in the way he does things ?...More volume + less care = subpar results. Maybe not. I have no idea to be honest. Most US surgeons like him have ridiculously high prices but when it comes to actual results they often look like the average turkish hairmill. I'd kindly try to negotiate a refund. Otherwise I'd look into Spain/Portugal/Belgium But as Pinto advised you definitely hold off from getting another surgery for some time and definitely consider a scalp biopsy. Even though it's rare you might have a scalp condition that prevents proper growth. Oral minoxidil may help too in case there might be dormant hair follicles. Good luck. Stay strong
  11. You aren't even a Norwood 3. You are Norwood 1.5 to 2 maximum. Your hair doesn't even look bad bro. Honestly I wouldn't even bother with transplants at this stage. Just stay on oral Finasteride/Dutasteride and you're good to go.
  12. It's a decent result for only 2000 grafts. But it still looks pretty thin. Although better than before
  13. Wow looks good so far. No shedding so far How did you remove the scabs without removing the hair shafts ?
  14. Sure bro. But Finasteride is necessary to stay "as close as possible to the illusion of full head of hair". There is only so many hairs that you can transplant from the donor (without it looking moth-eaten) and your recipient area looking full enough. Take at look at Lorenzo fuecapilar's videos. I'm not a fan of that hairmill surgeon at all. But he has some interesting documented cases showing long term evolutions of patients combining transplants and finasteride, some stopping finasteride, getting multiples surgeries. You'll see what I'm talking about. The point is that you can never really replace what you lost and make it look dense (by dense I mean normal native density) with transplants. But it's much easier to keep what you have with finasteride.
  15. Gamble your manhood ? Lol On a drug that actually RAISES your free serum testosterone levels. Come on bruh. I don't wanna get into the old finasteride side effects debate. This is not the topic here. It has been discussed a billion times. We all know sides are extremely exagerated. You have to decide what is your goal in life. Do you want to protect your hair transplant investment long term as much as possible ? If so, using oral 5ar inhibitors is highly recommended. There is no other way to truly stop androgenetic hairloss except surgical castration or transgender drugs which (unlike 5ar inhibitors) do come with a lot of sides. Growth stimulants like minoxidil, PRP will eventually lose efficacy singe they do not adress the underlying rootcause of why this is happening in the first place: DHT. If you want to just get a transplant without finasteride and hang on for a few more years then okay. No problem. But you have to accept the consequences. You'll very quickly reach a point of no return where the demand on the balding recipient area is way too much for the limited supply at the back in the donor area.
  16. I know exactly what you mean bro. I feel you and I am sorry you feel that way. But let me tell you. Yor hair is better than 99% of guys on this forum. Guys like myself with severe and diffuse disgusting baldness would all kill to have your hair 😂 That said, I agree that there is SOME very slight early DHT-caused thinning going on but with a stack as strong as oral Dutasteride and minoxidil it's likely gonna be stopped dead in its tracks for the next 20-30 years or so. So why worry ? Just curiously who prescribed them to you ? Are croatian docs open about writing Avodart/Loniten prescriptions ? Spend time on the forum. Research a lot. The majority of guys on this forum regret their hair transplants... And remember FUE is by no means scarless. As for beard hairs on scalp it can be used only 3 cms behind the hairline. Not directly on the hairline except in some very rare cases. Body hair is very tricky. It has relatively low survival rate compared to scalp/bears hairs and you always need to make a small test surgery first to see how it goes. I have never heard of anyone using body hairs on the hairline and I am unsure how it would look in terms of naturalness. Also body hairs are genetically different. They don't grow to the same length and have shorter anagen phases. Best doctors in Europe for body hair are Bisanga and Mwamba in Brussells. They are expensive but not crazy expensive. They are worth consulting. In the US, Dr. Umar is the most experienced guy with body hair. His prices are ridiculous though. If you really want a touch-up on the hairline, I would go for a very small scalp hair procedure of like 500-800ish grafts maximum with an expert such as Freitas/Pinto/Couto. They are also excellent when it comes to hairlines. That would cost you about 3000-4000€ and you would be good to go.
  17. Thanks bro. Again maybe my description was a bit on the pessimistic side of the spectrum. I just wanted to warn you about the potential long term consequences and limitations. Some people do get good results if they follow all the steps and do their due diligence when it comes to research. Also the good news is you don't have much hairloss 👍 I would kill to be a only a Norwood 3. 🤣 I believe someone like pinto, freitas or even ximena/ferreira/feriduni/bicer/pekiner can do on awesome job on your hairline with 2 procedures (1st one for foundation + 2nd one to add more density) Whichever path you choose to follow, I wish you best of luck !
  18. Hello Croatia ! You really do not need a hair transplant. You might have a pinch of miniaturization that only a hairloss geek like myself could notice under extremely harsh lighting but other than that you still have 99% of your hairs. Your head looks NORMAL. I mean really. You have solid head of hair and you caught it very early with medication. You crown looks full even with a buzzcut and your hairline is just fine. A hair transplant would do nothing at this stage for you except create permanent unecessary scarring in your donor area and destroy your native hairs in between the implants... Honestly I think it would be a big mistake getting a hair transplant. You'd get some ugly little white dot scars at the back of your head and wouldn't be be able to rock a buzzcut anymore. Just stay on medication.
  19. I totally agree with you Melvin. He should not get a hair transplant otherwise he risk becoming like Tilman and Biden. However I can only disagree with your statement "forget about oral finasteride". Some people refuse it. Fair enough. I respect that. Use alternatives. I don't wanna sound like the guy who is pushing it but it is important to stress that this new topical Finasteride is by no means a long term substitute for the oral version. No topical treatment that exists (whether it's Dr. Hasson's topical fin, Dutasteride mesotherapy, RU58841, minoxidil, fluridil, spiro, topical estradiol or whatever) could be considered a full-time equally effective standalone alternative to oral 5alpha reductase inhibitors. That just isn't true. That said, topical finasteride is certainly better than nothing.
  20. I don't think you should get a transplant now bro. You're too young and you may not be satisfied with the result of a hair transplant even if it is objectively good. I don't wanna sound negative or pessimistic but the reality is hair transplants are crap. Even the expensive ones. Yes you heard me right. They are CRAP. Trading some ugly scars at the back of your head (whether it's FUT strip scar or FUE white dot scarring) for a few low density hairs on the hairline that will never match your native hair density is something that you may regret further down the road... This is what hair transplants are all about. It's a pretty rough way to put it but that's exactly what it is. What if you are unhappy with the outcome ? This is something to think about twice. If you "just shave it bruh" you will have to deal with 2 major issues. A. Your balding pattern will still be noticeable. B. Your scars (both FUT and FUE) will be noticeable. This forum is great because it shows the reality of the hair transplant industry. Look at how many excellent results there are. There are some for sure but very few. (HugoX, Zoomster, the guy who went to Freitas and got an incredible hairline can't remember his name). They are the EXCEPTION, definitely not the rule. How many people end up with crap density, failed transplant, botched jobs, weird results like Track_Rat for example or permanently damaged donors etc ? A LOT We witness it on a daily basis here. And not just from turkish hairmills unfortunately... I suggest you spend time on the forum and research like crazy. You'll eventually come to your own conclusions. I think you should get on a very strong pharmaceutical stack for the moment. Check out MorePlatesMoreDates, Dr. Oscar Muñoz, Haircafé, The Hairloss Show for more info. And wait at least until you are 25. In the meantime you should start saving some money for future surgery. And go with the best of the best. I would be very surprised if any REAL reputable doctor agrees to perform a hair transplant on someone under 25 who is not AT LEAST on oral Finasteride/Dutasteride. If someone agrees then it's a red flag. Don't go. Even if the clinic is considered "reputable". I've seen those cases of H & W, Lorenzo, HLC doing patients under 25.... It just means they want their money and they don't care about the long term consequences for the patient. Then at 25 after if you are 100% sure your balding has stabilized with medication you should ask yourself the following questions: 1. Would I be satisfied if I spend between 10 000 $ and 15 000 $ of my hard-earned money for a new hairline that is still conservative (a politically correct word for receded) and will always look seethrough under harsh artificial lighting or harsh daylight and will never look like me pre-androgenic alopecia ? 2. Will I be commited to medication for the rest of my life in order to avoid losing more hair on the midscalp and crown ? 3. Will I accept scarring at the back of my head that unables me to wear very short hairstyles ? 4. Will I accept to have more surgeries down the road if required ? 5. Will the accept the possibility of failure ? Even the top docs have failures and crap results although thanks god they are statistically minimal. If the answer is yes every time then yeah you'd be a good candidate for a hair transplant. If no, then DO NOT GET A HAIR TRANSPLANT. Sorry if I sound a bit pessmistic but this is the reality. Many people regret getting a hair transplant. Some even think it's the worst mistake of their life. Check out Gatsby's story and Miko's.
