  1. So how was your experience with Dr. Saifi ? I think he was a bit hyped by his patient coordinator Killian aka "The Hair Chemist". There were some good results but also some questionable results from him on this forum.
  2. I agree with your statement. Most US surgeons are ridiculously expensive when it comes to pricing but let's face it: they are crap... (except a few ones of course) If you go to a US surgeon chances are you'll spend around 15k to 20k $ for what ? An average result at best... On the other hand, Turkey is very cheap but 99% of clinics are hairmills and you're basically playing russian roulette with your donor. You can become of the very few lucky ones for example and get an excellent result for 2000-3000€ but you can also get totally destroyed for the rest of your life with almost no possibility of repair. So it's like taking big risks when playing poker. You got very little chance of making a huge amount of money but at the same time you may lose it all... Again, I came to the conclusion that Spain/Portugal/Belgium is sort of in the right middle. Not too cheap not crazy expensive. Still expensive but affordable They have the best quality surgeons in the world (for FUE).
  3. Okay I see you already have advanced hairloss. What is your ultimate goal ? Are you to looking to get as close as possible to the illusion of full head of hair ? If so this may a require 2 if not 3 procedures and you bet go with one the following surgeons. Check out Hattingen Hair, Felipe Pitella, Eugenix, Zarev, Freitas, Pinto, Ferreira, Ximena, Bisanga Are you looking to "just get a decent hairline" ? Then yeah Bicer, Fuecapilar are good options.
  4. I agree with everything you said. Very good info. 👍 Except for PPR and laser. They are crap and snake oils. Never waste your time, money and energy on them. There are stronger and better alternatives such as Dutasteride, oral minoxidil, topical anti androgens etc... Other than that great post !
  5. Doganay ? He is similar to Civas and Karadeniz. Doganay has a pretty bad reputation. I've seen a guy who posted a really bad result from him on youtube. Also there were a cases discussed by youtuber tenermaspelo. One of them was another patient who got a poor result and he had to battle it out to obtain a refund from Doganay. First he was ignoring him and then later Doganay agreed to refund 50%. Something like that... In other words, I would avoid Doganay honestly. Keser is okay for the most part. He is a very meticulous doctor and he probably won't botch you. Problem is he cherry picks his patients and generally takes only on guys who are Norwood 3 maximum. Keser is a good option for small procedures. He is not bad but at 3.5€ per graft you can find better quality with Freitas, Pinto or even Ferreira.
  6. Hi there, NO NO NO Please do not go to any of the clinics you mentionned. I understand that you are looking for cheaper alternatives. We all try to save money. That is totally fair and normal. The clinics you mentionned are all HAIRMILLS and chances are they simply take you money, botch you and block you on whatsapp 6 months later... This is how it works in the clinics you mentionned. Ekrem Civas is not definitely not a good surgeon. His ABHRS credentials mean absolutely nothing. He has very few available results and the few ones I've seen on this forum were crap... Ziva Yavuz is a notorious hairmill. I know he is popular these days but it's gamble. Same goes for Bircan. I've seen good work from his mill but also really some bad cases. Again lottery... As a general rule of thumb, any clinic whose name begin by "Este" is guaranteed to be a hairmill. Estenove, Estegrand, Estepera... Thus stay away. Yaman I kindly suggest you avoid him too. Despite being recommended here and having SOME good results, I have seen some botched jobs and even overharvested donors. He himself might be a talented surgeon but he outsources most the work to nurses who often botch and mess up. Probably not the best option... The golden rule = If you can't afford a decent surgeon then hold off from surgery I suggest you get on oral hairloss mediaction like Finasteride/Dutasteride and add a few other compounds to your stack. Give it some time. In the meantime start saving up for a better clinic. Look into Dr. Bicer, Dr. Demirsoy, FUECAPILAR. Those are the only reliable budget options in Turkey although they are not as good as the best clinics in Spain, Portugal, Belgium Popular misconception is that you can "just shave it bruh" in case of failed hair transplant. But sadly you can't. You'll have thousands of little white scars showing you had FUE. So don't rush into a surgery. Especially when it comes to Turkey. A hair transplant is a huge deal my friend. Not only because it's very expensive, but also because it can leave lifelong consequences.
  7. Ximena Villa. Both Ximena and Ferreira used to work under Lorenzo. They're highly skilled doctors. They both left and opened their own clinics. While Lorenzo has chosen quantity over quality and hence has become a notorious hairmill, Ferreira & Ximena seem more ethical and meticulous. They do solid work.
  8. Yeah Demirsoy is known for performing the extractions as well as the incisions phase. Nurses take over for the implantation
  9. Of course there are better options than Turkey but they are more expensive. Pinto, Bisanga, Freitas, Couto, Feriduni, Mwamba, Ferreira, Ximena, Muresanu Hattingen, HDC Cyprus, BHR Malaga/Athens
  10. Read my previous posts. I have talked a lot about Turkey. Short answer is: 99% of clinics in Turkey are hairmills. Be careful. You can't just shave your head after a failed hair transplant because you will have FUE odd-looking white dot type of scarring. The only handful few reliable options in Turkey I would ever trust are Bicer: solid work and one of the best post-op care in the industry. Very nice person but if you are looking for recovering a Norwood 6 for example then she might not the best option Keser: very meticulous and involved doc. Often criticized for not using microscopes. Takes only on small Norwoods. Good option if you are a Nw 2-3. Gur and Turan: good doctors. Solid work. Although slightly overhyped by this forum recently but so far never seen a bad result from them. If you are on a budget they are the way to go. Demirsoy: does one patient daily. Similar to the previous doc. Couple subpar results here and there. Not a magician but at 1.5€ per graft he is the best Pekiner: very good and natural hairline work but cherry picks patients and often "aborts" surgeries... Hlc ankara: historically considered the best and safest clinic in Turkey. They have some excellent results but also some really mediocre ones on the forum. These are your options in Turkey. Look no further. The rest is all russian roulette. You may get lucky but you may also get screwed for life.
  11. That's true Ryan. Also what I'd like to add is that you never know what the bottom of the iceberg looks like behind a nice picture on the internet... In this case, this result from NowHairTime look crazy thick and dense although somewhat pluggy like you said. Huge change from baseline right ? BUT maybe 1 out of 15 will be lucky enough to get such a result.... Look at Doucette's hairline. It's crap. So the dude on the photo may have an excellent dense result on the front but a totally overharvested donor at the back... Also getting a 4000 grafts hairline with FUE at 25 is a terrible idea. You will quickly run of donor... Without even mentionning that these guys who go to hairmills are often not on Finasteride.
  12. I think you need to get on a strong pharmaceutical protocol and give it 6-12 months at least. Finasteride and minoxidil is probably enough to prevent your DHT-caused thinning from getting worse. You may get a better response from Dutasteride and oral minoxidil. Check out Hairloss Show, MorePlates, Haircafé , Tressless, Future Vegan, Dr. Oscar Muñoz, tressless for more info about hairloss medication. Don't wait. Time is off the essence when it comes to fighing the evolutionnary curse in Male Pattern Baldness. You have a Nw 5 diffuse pattern. But you still have lots of miniaturized hairs that could potentially be regrown with medication. So meds first and if you get bo results then yes a 2-step surgery might do the trick. But again you need to be EXTREMELY careful as who to you choose for hair transplant. Diffuse cases are tricky and difficult, you need to go with the best of the best. Be careful. Do your homework
  13. Update bro ? Hope things turned out fine for you insh'Allah ☝️
  14. Hello, Several things here Stay away from Turkey. Please do not become one of those thousands of guys who get botched and destroyed each year in Turkey. Turkey is the land of BOTCH and your hairloss is already significant. I see a Norwood 4-5 s pattern slowly developping there. Your hair caliber seems to be rather on the thinner side and of course your donor supply is limited. In other words, you should avoid making mistakes in the first place. 99% of clinics in Turkey are total CRAP. They'll just take your money and botch you. And if you think you can also "just shave it bro" later down the road in case of unsucessful surgery then you might discover thousands odd looking white little scars from FUE...Once you're cut you're cut. There is no coming back. There are a few okay doctors in Turkey especially Dr. Bicer and perhaps Dr. Keser, Dr. Pekiner, Dr. Gur, Dr. Demirsoy and Dr. Turan. Some of them are focused on only one patient par day and are capable of producing okay results. However they might not be the best at treating diffuse pattern specifiacally. Trust me hair transplants are a huge deal. You wanna try to get this crap right from the first time... I believe even the better turkish clinics are not the best in Europe. There are better options in terms of quality and consistency in Belgium, Portugal and Spain. Of course you wanna stay away from technician-driven clinics aka "hairmills" such as Cosmedica, Ilker Apaydin, SmileHair, Karadeniz, Hair of Istanbul, AsliTarcan, Hakan Doganay, Caymaz, Musbeh, EsteNove, Elithair, Dr. Cinik, Dr. Serkan etc... You may get an excellent result but you may also a a really bad and irreversible one. Hairmills are a gamble. So are reputable doctors but to a much lesser degree. No surgery is guaranteed. This is something to be aware of before mowing forward. Sometimes they hit fantastic results. Sometimes they screw you for life. Also even if you to a good doctor a hair transplant will never look the same as your hair when your were 18. Remember a hair transplant is only 50% of your original hair per cm2 so it will require touch-ups, a 2nd procedure. It's a long process and it takes years and several surgeries. In your case I think it would take at least 2. Possibly 3 if you are looking for perfection. I suggest you take a look at the youtuber Hairline Confessions. It's an interesting case because he went to a notorious hairmill and got lucky and unlucky the same time. He got a fantastic result on the recipient area but got a terribly overharvested donor... Some guys get disaster results everywhere and then have pay 10 000 dollars for a repair surgery... Before jumping into surgery I would rather throw a "kitchen sink" and consider Dutasteride, oral minoxidil + topical anti androgens and microneedling. Chances are you might avoid surgery if you are lucky enough. Some diffuse thinners (not all) get enough reversal of miniaturization to the point that they have sufficient coverage to avoid surgery. Surgery is always LAST RESORT... It's gamble no matter who you go to. And you have a limited donor supply to use in your lifetime. Even the top recommended doctors have failed cases on this forum so take your time. Research, spend time on this forum, browse the whole internet, look on russian, german, italian, spanish, french a hairloss forums, hairloss experiences, hairlosstalk hairloss conquerors on FB, reddit, look for bad results deliberately, realself etc... Be like a CIA agent. Also consider visiting a very good trichologist to rule out any potential rare condition such as scarring alopecia or lichen that may sabotage the result of your surgery. So to summarize, 1. Get on a stronger pharmaceutical stack and give it 6 months. 2. Research, research, research, 3. Stay away from hairmills and manage your expectations. This is an ultramarathon unfortuanately... The best options in Europe are Freitas, Pinto, Muresanu, Couto, Bisanga, Ferreira, Ximena, Mwamba, Maras
  15. I see I think who you're talking about. Yes they have many bad results unfortunately. Another recommendation in the US would be Dr. Konior from Chicago. He is one of the very best but his prices are absolutely ridiculous. No problem and all the best ! You are on the right track for sure
  16. I gotta say your result from Elithair is actually good. Of course the density is lacking but overall it's an excellent and natural result considering the fact that Balwi is a notorious hairmill and thus huge gamble for both the donor and recipient ! For temples I would say Pinto & Couto are probably the best artistry wise. But they don't accept new patients currently. Otherwise Bisanga does very solid and natural temples too. I believe Ferreira is also capable of producing good temple work. But your temples look okay honestly. You don't seem to have any retrograde alopecia thinning or temple recession. Maybe lowering the hairline a little bit more would help you achieve the desired appearence but not sure if it's a good idea to waste additionnal grafts.
  17. Hello, All surgeons you mentionned are excellent choices. I would add Pinto, Ferreira from Portugal anf Muresanu from Switzerland. I think Ximena Vila and Bijan Feriduni are also good options. If you are on a budget I think Bicer would be good for you even though she is not on Pinto/Bisanga/Freitas level. Who was your first surgeon ? Looks like you got decent growth but poor density
  18. Agree 100%. FUE is crap. Especially for people who don't need it. This is why I always tell people: don't rush into FUE. That crap is not scarless unfortunately. This looks like poorly performed extractions. A skilled surgeon knows how to create an extraction pattern and homogenously/carefully extract while spreading out the extractions. Your donor isn't too bad don't worry. I've seen A LOT worse. I'm sure if you grow it out longer it will camouflage the dots nicely. You can always get SMP or go to a very good repair surgeon who will rehomogenize your donor using beard grafts for instance. Who was your doctor btw ?
  19. It's probaly safe after 1 month post op already but honestly if you want to protect your investment I would wait at least 3 months. Even though it's unlikely, you don't wanna cause some potential irritation/inflammation that may jeopardize the healing process or the growth.
  20. Freitas is definitely in the discussion for GOAT.
  21. Hasson doesn't always deliver but this time I gotta say it was a 10/10. Excellent What happened during with first surgery with Dr. Farjo ? Did you get bad results ?
  22. My questions is did nurses take over after Dr. Hasson finished performing the incisons ?
