  1. They are husband and wife Last time i checked it was 3.45 for FUT and 4.30 for FUE.
  2. I totally understand you. It's an extremely exhausting and expensive process (financially, mentally, physically...) But at 5 months there is still hope. There is no need to jump to conclusions at this stage. Improvements can still happen like I told you.
  3. I'd second what JimKan said. Having no growth at 5 months is not a good sign BUT it's not over yet. There is still hope. Things can still improve between month 5 and month 8. I've seen it. It can happen. After month 8 highly unlikely...especially if there was no change from month 5.
  4. Fair enough Density looks okay on the right side but poor on the left. I guess this is because you already started shedding, right ?
  5. First of all, never go to ASMED. Unfortunately, they are a hairmill clinic and they were removed from this forum's recommendations many years ago. Browse the forum and do your research carefully. They have plenty of poor results and they show very poor ethics. You don't wanna become of the botched guys. HLC is certainly better than ASMED. For sure. They don't let techs and nurses touch patients and they are more focused. I've seen cases and stories that made me change my opinion about them although they were not nearly as bad as ASMED's botchs. Also I don't think they would necessarily be the best option for advanced Norwoods. Bicer has excellent post op care. One of the best in the industry. One of the very rare doctors who doesn't just care about your money. She does solid work. She is probably the best option in Turkey right now but she does not specialize in advanced Norwoods either...She is good if you are on a budget. But if you are Nw 5-6 then her work is not comparable to Zarev's. If your goal is to "just get a decent hairline" then Bicer Fuecapilar are your safest bets in Turkey. Pekiner and Keser are a bit more expensive but they hardly ever take on Nw 5 guys. If your goal is to get as close as possible to a full head of hair then forget about Turkey completely ! Look into Hattingen for FUT. They are excellent for FUT high norwoods. Murseanu is worldclass. Very clean, ethical and excellent survival rates. Or for FUE Zarev, Sethi, Pitella. They are the best in the world for High Norwood classes. I believe Pinto, Couto, Freitas, Ferreira, Ximena, Wong have also achieved good results on Nw 5-6 patients. They are the best in my opinion for FUE.
  6. Thanks. Yeah great idea bro. I was actually already considering it !
  7. This is considered normal (at least in theory...) At 10 days and if there was no bleeding this is considered to be a hair shaft attached to a scab. Dr. Bernstein and Dr. Rassman concluded that hair follicles cannot be removed after 10 days no matter if you pull on a scab. Now the outcome of a hair transplant the survival rate and stuff are always highly unpredictable. Fingers crossed and wait 6 months. Good luck and all the best.
  8. This is a typical case of "nocebo" effect. No panic. Just get off the drug. So you got 2 options You could use 0.25mg of Finasteride daily or use 1mg 3 times a week. That is still pretty effective at lowering follicular DHT levels and hence slowing down hairloss. Also if you don't want to use oral form, you could try to use topical finasteride/dutasteride which have shown less systemic absportion. The dowside side is that it's a lot more expensive and less convinient to use. But it's a decent alternative.
  9. The doctor should accept to fix it for free if he is ethical. Otherwise, I would look into repair doctors such as Bisanga, Pinto Mwamba
  10. Get on oral finasteride or dutasteride immediately and you have nothing to worry about. 👍 Catching your hairloss early with medication is a billion times easier then letting yourself become Nw 5-6 and then playing catch-up spending tens of thousands of dollars on multiples hair transplant surgeries and still looking thin...
  11. Guys So Behnam is also a supporter of the Rob English & Hairguard BLÜDFLOW scalp tension & galea aponeurotica theories 😂😂😂
  12. Unfortunately no bro. IAHRS, ABHRS, ISHRS memberships mean absolutely nothing. Of course, doctors there know how to perform a surgery. It's the very minimal requirement. They are "safe" in that regard. However these organization are by no means a guarantee of quality. ISHRS is basically just a society that organizes meetings and conferences. Any hair transplant surgeon can become ISHRS member if they pay the membership fee. Not based on skills. ABHRS certification is just a basic exam. It means that you posess the basic skills to perform hair transplant. It doesn't mean you produce good quality results on a consistent basis... IAHRS is simply Spencer Kobren's organization of doctors he is affiliated with. They pay for membership. I generally like Spencer. He gives good advice and he's helped a lots of young folks. But sadly it's all business and he accepts some bad surgeons in his "consumer reports" organization. There are excellent ones and there are bad ones. I remember once calling Spencer during the Bald Truth Show and openly asking him "why do you accept guys like Doganay, Tayfun, Yaman ?". He told me "yeah but every clinic has bad results s*** happens in this industry man blablabla...." You should always look for real results and real reviews from independant patients like the ones on this forum. Look at Pinto and Couto for example. They are nowhere. No IAHRS, no ISHRS yet they are among the very best.
  13. Not sure about HDC being IAHRS member ? But HDC is a good clinic for sure regardless of whether they are in the IAHRS. Be careful with IAHRS membership. It doesn't mean much... There are good and bad doctors in the IAHRS. For example Hakan Doganay is IAHRS member but he is a notorious for being a bad doctor. Same goes for guys like Tayfun Oguzoglu, James Harris etc...Not all IAHRS members are good options.
  14. Hello, I don't know if it is a good idea to go with Dr. Cortez to be honest. Check out emo24's thread. He got his donor area overharvested pretty badly. And there were some other guys with similar issues on the forum.
  15. Both are decent options. They are not elite but as far as I know they do solid work and are both good value.
  16. Very solid result bro. Path does good work. I think Knudsen & Vikram's "Hairloss Show" channel is one of the best sources of information about hairloss on Youtube along with Haircafé and MPMD. However the thing that I find really strange about Dr.Knudsen it that he has only very few results available after 30 years of practicing hair restoration....😅
  17. Hard to say man. They have some good repair cases on their youtube. Especially one that was really impressive on a turkish guy who also shared his case on sacekimisonuclari. Sadly they have failed repairs too...Check out Lemonc on belicapelli and donnie10 on alopeziede. In Spain/Portugal Freitas, Pinto, Couto are considered elite. Ximena and Ferreira are also very close. Be careful with Lorenzo. He is a hairmill. Other decent options are Heinecke, Burgos, Medecap, BHR Malaga, Alfonso junior, Javier Alvarez. They are okay but not as good as the first 3. I believe Bisanga and Pinto are your safest bets for a repair surgery.
  18. You need to be able to commit to a long term use of oral finasteride. That is very important because I can see that the whorl on your crown is starting to thin. Also you are showing signs of retrograde alopecia above the ears and on the nape. Now no panic retrograde is not the end of the world. It just means that your donor capacity is reduced. Finasteride will be important long term. Are you a good candidate ? Not ideal but yeah you are a decent candidate. You don't have a lot of hairloss. Looks like Nw 2. But do your research first. Don't rush things. Avoid turkish hairmills of course. Transplants are always a gamble and you can't shave your head if it doesn't work. You'll have permanent scarring even with FUE. You have to accept the possibility of failure and also that even if your transplant turns ou to be a sucess your new hairline will always be seethrough under harsh lighting. And that you may require touch-ups and additionnal procedures. The "one and done" thing is a myth. Freitas, Bisanga, Pinto would be a good options for you.
  19. I can see that it's definitely improved a little bit compared to month 3. So that's positive. If you've done your homework and chosen the right surgeon then all you can do at this stage is "trust da process bruh", be patient and hope for the best. I'd try to stay optimistic so far. Some people grow faster than others. The 4-month mark is still super early and doesn't mean much so don't worry at this stage. The 6-8 month mark will already give you a better idea/overview of what the result is going to look like.
  20. I agree with you. I'd expect more growth at this stage. 5 months is still considered early so I think we should not jump to conclusions yet. There is still a possibility that you are experiencing delayed growth and things may still improve. So let's try to stay optimistic even though I know how hard it is... I believe you should wait until month 8. If it still looks the same then yeah I would start to question things... But for the moment it's still quite early.
  21. Look like there was some growth but lacking density... Not a disaster but I would call it a "subpar" result. Were you operated on by Bessam or Nikofer Farjo ? Also I remember there was a guy on youtube with minimal hairloss who got a bad result from Farjo. He made a video about his case.
  22. Not the first case of overharvesting by Dr. Cortez....🤦‍♀️
  23. Wow....there is still some very small chances that this is shock loss although like you said it's not looking good for 5 months... It could be overharvesting unfortunately... Did you reach out to Cortez ?.... Pinto, Bisanga, Mwamba are good repair doctors. SMP is also an option to consider.
