  1. Yeah 😂 I bet Erdogan hasn't touched a patient for a decade or so Comes in, shakes your hand, draws your hairline and sends you to russian roulette ! The run of the mill basically just walks around. He goes from one room to another. Takes pictures. Gives thumbs up to everyone ! The GOAT of botched job is very busy attending conferences worldwide and "FUE workshops" while his teams of nurses are "operating" on 8 patients at the same time. 😂😂😂
  2. Can't see the sides bro. Could u plz upload a better pic ? Tnx
  3. Yes that's right. At 2-3 weeks you see your "best case scenario" buzzcut look with the density. Survival is a whole other story of course. Yes the less you shed the better off you'll be.
  4. I heard of Dr. Geza Sikos years ago. I know he participated in some workshops with Knudsen and Lorenzo. He was also an IAHRS member even though it doesn't mean much at the end of the day. I always struggled to find results from this particualr surgeon Did the doc perform all steps of the procedure ? Or did nurses take over at some point ? 😂
  5. Totally agree. The outcome of a hair transplant is extremely unpredictable. I've seen guys looking excellent between the surgery and the 2-3 weeks mark after removing the scabs and before shedding. And yet ending with very low graft survival. I've seen guys looking so so after surgery, dealing with infections and sunburns and at the end growing just fine. You never know. SUPRISE baby !
  6. Why don't you just go to Vicrum Jayapra CASH ? Or Russell "Nutzi" ? Since you are in Australia ! Vicrum is the absolute GOAT. Just kidding of course. Now seriously You need to get on Finasteride first bro. It's not gonna regrow your hairline but chances are it's gonna stop your hairloss from further progessing. You need to give at least 6 months to 1 year to see how well you gonna respond to treatment. That is the only viable way for men to stop Androgenic Alopecia (outside of MTF HRT or castration lol) You could also "throw a kitchen sink" and use Dutasteride, oral minoxidil, RU58841, fluridil, microneedling etc but in your particular case I don't think you would benefit from it since neither one of these drugs can regrow a slick bald hairline or slick bald spot on the crown. You gotta have some miniaturized hairs to begin with which is not the case here. So don't rush into surgery. Spend time on the forum. Research research research. Look for bad results deliberately. Hair transplants are always a gamble. Sad truth is that even top surgeons have crap results. You will see. I agree with you Turkey is a recipe for disaster. Stay away from it. Only 3-4 good clinics there. There are a few good surgeons in Asia and Latin America (Pitella, Pamtovanich, Camacho etc...) But the best quality you will find in Spain/Portugal/Belgium For your case I would recommend looking into Freitas, Pinto, Bisanga, Couto, Ximena, Ferreira, Mwamba, Feriduni. In Turkey Pekiner is an interesting option for hairlines. There were some issues with him on the forum but he does very good work on cherry picked patients and small Norwoods. Bicer is good too ! Ow and don't try to lower that hairline to Norwood 0. I know it s***... We all want super low hairlines... It's just not realistic and would waste way too many grafts. Most reputable doctos will only agree to restore a "conservative hairline". Remember hairloss is progressive and you only have a limited number of grafts to use thoughout your lifespan. That's it. Good luck bro
  7. Dr. Daniel McGrath in Texas prescribes it. You could also ask any other hair transplant surgeon.
  8. Hope you doing well bro. No offense but just curiously did Dr. Pekiner give you a discount or ask you specifically to post your detailed journey on the forum ?
  9. Pictures please. Forget about general practicioners and dermatologists bro... 99% of them don't know s***. Find a very good hair transplant surgeon or a specialized trichologist. Ask for a Dutasteride prescription. They are VERY open about writing off labels prescription for Avodart and Loniten.
  10. Hahahah yes for sure ! The GOAT of botched jobs would welcome the GOAT of soccer, take some pictures, draw the donor and recipient and then proceed to performing the "opening of the channels" on Zizou's scalp. Before moving to the next operative room and letting his nurses takes over... And he'd come back at the end, take a few more pics with Zizou and they would go out for dinner somewhere in a big hotel/restaurant in Istanbul.
  11. I hope really Zidane never choses Cinik/Koray/Serkan. I saw some soccer players like Cissé and Rakitić going to Cinik. They will botch him 150%.
  12. Gosh Zidane's bald patch is legendary. 👍😂 Zidane, Prince Harry, Jon Danaher and Saint Francis have the 4 biggest bald spots in the history of Mann kind. Zizou would literally need 20 000 grafts to close that gigantic monk bald spot on the crown. Even if they literally take his whole donor area + his whole beard I am not sure whether that huge bald spot would look full. Zidane's crown is the biggest black hole ever.
  13. I suggest you check out the following youtube channels. Hairloss Show Haircafé MorePlatesMoreDates Dr. Oscar Muñoz They have all discussed Dutasteride in depth. Short answer yes it's more potent than Finasteride since it inhibits more types of isoenzymes of the 5AR enzyme. Now whether the type 1 that converts T into DHT expressed in the hair follicles is debatable. The scientifical evidence tends to say it's rather type 2. Also how much Dutasteride do you need to get maximum DHT supression is another debate. It appears that the standard dose of 0.5mg is not a lot more effective than the standard dose of Finasteride 1mg when it comes to follicular DHT supression specifically. At the end of the day, yes Dutasteride is somewhat more effective but probably a bit overhyped. I've used 2.5mg daily for 6 months straight. Got no sides but absolutely no regrowth nor thickening of miniaturized natives hair at all !...
  14. Density looks okay. Obviously not as dense as your native hairs but looks decent so far. Hair transplants are all about the "illusion of density". It generally requires at least 2 passes to get as close as possible to native hair density especially with a buzzcut. On advanced norwoods it may be impossible. Dr. Demirsoy is amongst the handful few reliable/decent options in Turkey so you should not be worried at this stage 👍 That being said, hair transplants are always highly unpredictable. You never know and you can never guess the graft survival rate till you hit the 6 months mark no matter how good or how bad the recipient area looks before the shedding phase. Once you hit 6 months you will have a pretty good idea of how sucessful it is and how many grafts survived. The good news is that you didn't have that much hairloss on the crown. It wasn't a very wide crown and it's not like it was slick bald. Just thinning so it is realistic to expect good coverage especially if the procedure was performed correctly by a good doctor.
  15. Any update ? I saw you haven't been connected for a while. Tayfun Oguzoglu is just another hairmill. This is why I always say: IAHRS membership means absolutely NOTHING. There are good surgeons there and there are also bad ones.
  16. This is exactly what I was explaining to the new member today. Apaydin is a hairmill. His "credentials" are BS.
  17. Sure baby. "From Russia with love" 😘😘😘
  18. I totally understand the fact you are looking for cheaper options. We all try to save money and that's completely fair and normal. But in hair transplants you have to understand that the cheaper you go the greater the chances of disaster.... And in this game disasters are irreversible especially if they destroy your donor area while you already have significant baldness. The grafts in your donor area are limited. You have to try to get it right from the first time... That said, even top surgeons like Ferreira, Hasson & Wong, Mwamba have bad results. Even Couto and Freitas have some average results although very few of course. Browse through the forum and you will see. Hair transplants are a gamble. All you can do is minimize as much as possible the risk of failure and maximize chances of sucess by diligently doing your research and chosing a great surgeon. Ilker Apaydin is not the worst clinic in Turkey but his "best results" are average at best, he outsources almost all the work to young technicians with highly questionable training and there were some really bad results published on this forum from Apaydin... Jambopilgrim is one of them...There was another one too. Trust me, you don't wanna become one of those guys. My honest advice is stay away Apaydin. He is zero and doesn't care about you. He will just leave to his techs and they'll most likely botch you. Then you'll have to go to an expensive surgeon for a repair and that'll end up costing you 10 000-12 000 $...... Forget about Apaydin. Same for Serkan. He's probably somewhat better but still Serkan is a lottery. Read my posts about hairmills. Okay I agree that Serkan has some fantastic results on belicapelli (that are cherry picked by Bola the moderator who has an affiliation with Serkan) and also on some french youtubers who got paid to document their journey at Serkan's clinic and hence were given the very best team of nurses. Brett Maverick also went to Serkan but in my opinion that is a risky bet. Serkan had some botched jobs and destroyed donors in the past although I gotta say he has improved a lot during the last 3-5 years. But hey Serky does 20 patients per day and he doesn't give a s*** about your case. He just shakes your hand and draws your hairline. Some of his teams of technicians are great whereas others are crap. It's russian roulette. Literally. Why risk it ? Same for Smilehair and ziya yavuz. All Hairmills although not the worst. Don't be fooled by the SmileHair doctors. Mehmet Erdogan, Ahmedov etc...I know they look cool, their english is great but this is all marketing. The reality is their clinic is a hairmill. Again, certainly not the worst but you never know what kind of results you'll get and who will operate on you. Could just be a tech performing his very first surgery... Now of course there is this thing that "sometimes hairmills hit homeruns". Sure that happens too. I agree. If you are lucky, if you get the right team of nurses, if you have great donor charactetistics IF IF IF (probably around 10 out of 100 cases) you could potentially get a fantastic result for just 3000$. Yes it does happen sometimes with Cinik, Cosmedica, Serkan, Hair of Istanbul.. But what happens if you get botched ? Your donor supply gets destroyed forever while the grafts on the recipient area do not grow back at all ?....What you gonna do ? And if you "just shave it bruh" your donor area will have thousands of white little scars showing you had FUE... Think about it twice. Stay away from Aypaydin. He is crap. Try to save up for a decent surgeon. Bicer, FUECAPILAR and Demirsoy are the only decent options in Turkey.
  19. Sorry bro. Didn't mean to be negative or derail your thread. But ASMEDMANUALBOTCH comment about 110620's case made me crazy. We'll create a separate thread no problem. Best of luck. 👍
  20. ASMED is one of the worst clinics in the world if we consider their high price relative to their low quality/consitency and extremely poor post operative ethics.
  21. Conte's pattern cannot be classified using the Norwood scale. He had extremely severe and shocking diffuse thinning especially on the midscalp with some of his hairline still remaining and not so much loss on the crown. His pattern looked more like an advanced Ludwig 3 pattern. More like a female androgenic alopecia pattern. But again hard to classify... There are many patterns that are not included in the Norwood scale. That's the big problem. Especially diffuse thinners. Also the Norwood scale shows the pattern of hairloss. It doesn't measure the amount of hairloss. You could be a very early Norwood 6 diffuse thinner and have more hair (pound for pound) than an advanced Norwood 3....
  22. Konior has by far the highest yield. Dude is capable of achieving A LOT of coverage with less grafts than other surgeons. I agree Hasson & Wong are extremely agressive with the graft count.
  23. DUPA, scenile alopecia as well as harvesting performed outside the safe donor zone are all factors that will affect the longevity of a hair transplant.
