  1. Lol same here. For like 2 years I was thinking hey no big deal I'm only a Norwood 2. While in reality I was a Norwood 4-5 severe diffuse thinner. ๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ”ฅ I had hair everywhere. No hairline recession nor slick bald spot on the crown. But I was diffusely thinning throughout the whole top.
  2. Never heard of that doctor. For the moment all I can say is that your donor area looks okay. It wasn't overharvested. Recipient area is looking pretty good too. You nicely removed the scabs. We'll see in 6 months. Only time can tell. Best of luck m8
  3. Of course baby. Much love from Russia ๐Ÿ˜˜๐Ÿ˜˜๐Ÿ˜˜
  4. Demirsoy is the real deal Did he perform all steps by himself: extraction, incision as well as implantation ?
  5. Okay cool bro. Good luck Did Bekir told you to perform scalp massages after day 10 ?
  6. Based on the pictures you submitted, it seems like there has some growth between month 3 and month 5 especially on the midscalp which is encouraging and good sign. The growth is on. The density is still not there but let's wait and hope that it thickens up more until month 7-8. ๐Ÿ™ By the way, I took a look at your pictures and it appears that you are showing signs of Norwood 6 already. You mentionned you've been on Finasteride for 8 years. My question is when did this extra little bald spot that I circled become noticeable ?Was it while your were on finasteride ? This spot is a sign of future advanced hairloss. The evil little DHT is attempting to take it to a full horseshoe. Reminds me of Baldcafรฉ who had a similar spot. And what did Ozgur say about it specifically ? Maybe switching to a stronger pharmaceutical stack would be beneficial (like the Pinto/Freitas oral Dutasteride + oral minox combo). You don't want your hairloss to progress any further after having 2 surgeries and a very limited donor supply.
  7. Just another hairmill and recipe for botched job bro. Stay away
  8. He is a decent option too. He does good work. Bit more expensive though.
  9. I'd say quality is similar. Maybe Bicer a little bit better from what I've seen. Bicer has one of the best post operative care in the industry. But Gur is cheaper like you said. Demirsoy and Turan are also decent. Bhatti is also a "decent budget option" in the same price range but we all know his controversial behaviour on this forum so I don't really feel comfortable recommending him anymore.... Other than that, I wouldn't risk anybody else. Forget about Vera, Karadeniz, Yaman, Doganay, Musbeh, Civas, Caymaz, SmileHair etc... There might be a few decent budget options in Spain as well. Felicidad Espinosa & Ana Belen Rodriguez from Medecap, Javier Alvarez, Antonio Burgos, Hans Heinecke. They are not nearly as good as Pinto or Ximena but they do decent work for a price comparable to Bicer's.
  10. No I honestly don't think so bro. Don't worry. Graft are already firmly attached by this time. Just make sure you don't apply pressure when putting the hat on your head and take it off gently. Nice and loose wide hat. No tight hats.
  11. I gotta say the nurses looks pretty hot. But chances are it's a hairmill. ๐Ÿ˜‚ Hairmills in Hungary are growing these days. It's soon gonna be similar to Turkey.
  12. Every ethical doctor has to talk warn the patients about both the risks of using medication and the risks of not using medication. I can totally understand people who refuse finasteride. Fair enough. But they have to accept that their hairloss will inevitably porgress and at some point they will not have enough donor supply to cover all the balding area with sufficient density... As far as I know, spanish and portuguese doctors generally prefer oral Dutasteride + oral minoxidil since it's better than the classic Fina + topical minox combo. I believe this is what Pinto and Freitas usually prescribe.
  13. Bisanga and Freitas are both amongst the very best FUE surgeons in Europe. They are worldclass too. Bisanga is very experienced. His work is extremely solid. Hits homeruns all the time. You can't go wrong with them. But like I said every doctor have some slighltly subpar result. Here is one from Freitas. FREITAS 14/09/2020 2611 GREFFONS Fororecuperatupelo And there were couples ones from Bisanga back in the day on Belicapelli and the International Hairloss Forum. Hair transplant is never guaranteed 100%...but top docs offer free touch-ups so that's an easy fix. But I challenge anyone to find better quality and consistency than guys like Bisanga, Freitas, Pinto etc...
  14. Couto and Pinto also take on more severe cases too. Especially Pinto. There are some amazing transformations on Norwood 5-6 guys. Check them out. Pinto is pretty versatile. I wish I could get a surgery with him but he is fully booked. ๐Ÿ’”
  15. Platelet Rich Plasma aka PRP is a treatment that does have some scientific evidence supporting its efficacy BUT it is extremely limited. At very best it might thicken up a little bit your existing native miniaturized hairs. Generally the improvement is so tiny and subtle that it is barely detectable visually. Also it may speed up a little bit the growth of the grafts post surgery. But in all honesty, I suggest you do not waste your time, money and energy on PRP. The truth is that for most people it doesn't do anything. You better get on oral Finasteride/Dutasteride and start saving for an excellent surgeon. All the best and good luck.
  16. No way. I was just joking bro. Chill out. Read my posts. I don't even need to explain. Those who follow me know I give honest advice based on solid experience and well-balanced facts. I am a fair and square guy. Those who read my posts know it very well. I even recommend Dr. Sethi and consider him a top surgeon and he is amongst the top 5 best surgeons in the world for advanced Norwoods. And even if some of the questionable cases from Eugenix such as Track-Rat and Captain Haddock my stance was well-balanced and I was giving the clinic the benefit of the doubt.
  17. First of all, never go to Turkey. 99% of clinics are hairmills in that country. They'll you botch you and destroy your donor area for life. Except a handful few clinics. You shouldn't have gotten a hair transplant. You had poor survival or/and permanent shock loss of native miniaturized hairs. That is why I can't stress it enough hair transplant surgery is always LAST RESORT. However the GOOD NEWS is you don't much hairloss at all. Your situation is by no means dramatic and if you get on Finasteride now you'll be okay. Get on Finasteride and topical minoxidil or even better Dutasteride + oral minoxidil. Give yourself 6 months at least. Don't rush into a second surgery. Your situation is an easy fix. Give the medication some time. If medication doesn't do anything then someone like Konior or Couto would do a wonderful job with only 300 grafts on each side. Otherwise a good budget option is Dr. Bicer or FUECAPILAR in Turkey.
  18. Yes that is true. Floyd went to Hair of Istanbul and interestingly enough he did get a pretty good result on the beard and on the scalp too. That said, he didn't have that much hairloss to begin with. Hair of Istanbul is a notorious hairmill that operates on 20 patients every day. It's definitely not the worst hairmill in Turkey but it's a gamble and I would personally never risk it. Sometimes they hit homeruns. Sometimes disasters. HOI is a lottery that really depends on the team of techs that you get. I guess Floyd just saw them on Instagram and was impressed by their results ( of which some are obviously fake whereas others might be real but cherry picked). He has no acess to the right information. Same thing happened with Francis Ngannou and Greg Doucette who went to NowHairTime. Now how on earth did Floyd get a good result from the hairmill that is Hair of Istanbul ? Simply because when you are a celebrity or a youtuber documenting the process, the head of the mill gives you his very best team of technicians. They have at least 2 teams of technicians that are highly qualified. The rest is 20-year old kids recruited on the streets.
  19. I agree with that. And just to clarify things in regards to Eugenix: Pradeep Sethi is amongst the best doctors in the world. Best results from Eugenix are from him and that's why he is equally expensive as Couto/Bisanga. If you want Dr. Sethi to perform extractions and incisions it'll be around 5 USD per graft. Maybe even more. I look at Dr. Sethi and other Eugenix packages as separate entities. Dr. Arika has some great results on this forum for sure. She is a talented and skilled surgeon but also a few REALLY questionable ones which (in my honest opinion) don't necessarily show poor abilities but rather a true lack of care... Other Eugenix packages are pretty obscure and the reality is that Eugenix is mostly high volume + technician-driven clinic. I guess their cheapest package is still probably better than most turkish hairmills but it's also a gamble. Take from that what you will.
  20. Totally agree for the first 4 names. I would definitely not rank Pekiner number 5 though. I've seen a few bad cases from Dr. Pekiner here and there, his rep had weird behaviour and their marketing strategy is problematic by some aspects. Last but not least, his cases of aborted surgeries make me question his abilities. Of course, he is better than the majority of turkish clinics and I like the fact that he does everything by himself and takes only one patient per day. But he is not comparable with the first 4 surgeons you mentionned. Agree for the first 3 except for Yaman. I would take Yaman out of this list and put Bicer instead. Even at 2โ‚ฌ per graft she is still good value although she is not elite.
