My surgeon is listed at this forum as one of the elite surgeon. I got beard hair transplant from him. He used 1.2 and 1.4 mm size incision citing my scal hair grafts are thick and trimming the grafts too thin affects their survival in scar areas

My surgeon mention that they don’t like trimming grafts too thin as it jeopardizes their survival and hence the incisions are created using 1.2 and 1.4 mm size needles. Is this true? Or you could achieve the same survival with 0.7 mm incisions?

Hi, i understand that the new growth is usually fine and then thickens up. But I also notice the colour is white not black like my donor area. This is the very new growth which is very very fine, but not black in colour. Is this normal? Will this change to black colour later on?

Isn’t the main advantage of going with Eugenix is that they make sure the grafts survival is optimal. As they use the DHT method, which means using a pen implanted, they implant the grafts within 15 minutes of extraction using the team of techs. i think this type of service is not offered by anyone else. In the end, it is all about grafts survival and how long they are kept outside the body.

I had a beard transplant to hide a scar. Small area. I am 12 weeks done. Not much going on. As they say you see growth after 3-4 months. I am really worried. But yes I have some hairs that seem like not growing or they are growing extremely slowly. There are indeed changes in them but very slow.
