    My surgeon is listed at this forum as one of the elite surgeon. I got beard hair transplant from him. He used 1.2 and 1.4 mm size incision citing my scal hair grafts are thick and trimming the grafts too thin affects their survival in scar areas

    My surgeon mention that they don’t like trimming grafts too thin as it jeopardizes their survival and hence the incisions are created using 1.2 and 1.4 mm size needles. Is this true? Or you could achieve the same survival with 0.7 mm incisions?

    Hi, i understand that the new growth is usually fine and then thickens up. But I also notice the colour is white not black like my donor area. This is the very new growth which is very very fine, but not black in colour. Is this normal? Will this change to black colour later on?

    Isn’t the main advantage of going with Eugenix is that they make sure the grafts survival is optimal. As they use the DHT method, which means using a pen implanted, they implant the grafts within 15 minutes of extraction using the team of techs. i think this type of service is not offered by anyone else. In the end, it is all about grafts survival and how long they are kept outside the body.

    It will be 3 months end of this week. Dr. Used scalp here to do transplant though

    I had a beard transplant to hide a scar. Small area. I am 12 weeks done. Not much going on. As they say you see growth after 3-4 months. I am really worried. But yes I have some hairs that seem like not growing or they are growing extremely slowly. There are indeed changes in them but very slow.

    Hi, is it normal to shed more than 90% of your transplanted hairs between 3-6 weeks? I am just worried that some transplanted hairs supposed to stay intact? what’s normal or it varies for everyone?

    It could be due to shock loss. I jus had beard transplant and I am post shedding phase. It is not part of aging as my whole beard is black.

    I notice some hairs to change to grey / white after applying rogaine 5% on beard hairs. The whole hair is black but is white from the root. Is this normal or common?

    Hi everyone, I had a question if people could share their experiences. After scabs come off, the hairs are there and they seem like growing and look very healthy. They have the strength and rigidness to them. But jus a few days before my hairs started shedding, they seemed like they had no strength. They seemed weak, going in all directions.. lost their strengths. Is that normal? Is this probably a sign that person is going to have massive shed?

    Can you damage the hair follicle by massing the skin after the 2-3 weeks have passed?

    If the Hair appears to have gotten longer than what the size was when implanted, would not that imply that the hair follicle was building the hairs and was not damaged?
