  1. Very very conservative hairline. I guess density is more important to you than lower hairline. It should be very dense.
  2. Sheesh…4k for a small area. You’re going to be very happy with the density. I would’ve gone for lower and straighter hairline with your level of loss but we all like different things.
  3. You can blame TikTok/social media for this with all these weird hairstyles and trends. These days the trend is to have a bird nest on your head, but what many gullible people don’t realise is some of them wear headpieces/wigs or do trickery with filters etc to look like they have hairs growing down below near their noses 😂 I think it was Logan Paul or his brother what’s his name that was proper NW3 but wore wigs/comb overs and you wouldn’t believe how many foolish people imitated them.
  4. It’s a sacrifice. You can’t father a child while on fin and yes you will lose hairs if you stop finasteride. Finasteride lingers in scalp for a month but you will get a shed after 2 weeks of stopping finasteride. Stopping finasteride for 1-2 months will not make you lose a Norwood level but your hairs will definitely miniaturise. The good news is when you start finasteride back again, you will get a shed and regrow and see thickening of the miniaturised hairs. I know this because I have taken 2 months break from finasteride. 6 months is really long and there will be serious damage to your hairs that probably won’t be recovered. Sorry it is just what it is. You can try minoxidil if you can tolerate it and this should offset any damage stopping fin will cause. Min also doesn’t cause any fertility issues I think.
  5. Everyone has genetics for a Norwood level they’re supposed to reach and when hairloss will start. NW7 have super thin safe zone in donor which doesn’t fall off. What this means is their donor area (back of head) also suffers hairloss and there is a very thin area going from ear to ear that doesn’t get affected by hairloss. It’s so thin, it’s worthless for hair transplant because then you’re bald in the back and from ear to ear. When a young guy destined for NW7 gets a hair transplant doesn’t take medication, he gets hairloss because remember there is nowhere on his head that is safe except a very thin line of hair so there’s no donor for him, there’s just moving DHT sensitive hairs from back to front. NW6 guys have much more safe donor area but again, this doesn’t mean their back of head is all safe zone. Same story, a young guy destined for NW6 gets a hair transplant doesn’t use medication, he will get patchy hairloss in transplanted hair because some of his transplanted hair is from safe zone which survives while some is from unsafe zone which falls off. There’s really no mystery here. You see some people get hair transplants, don’t use medication and still have the same hair simply because they reached their genetic Norwood level. Then there are some who get HT and lose all the transplanted hair and then some. All you see is individuals genetics. I was diagnosed NW5’ish (I am NW1 or 2 now I think) but there was absolutely zero doubt in my mind I am going to NW6 if I was foolish enough to not take medication. I could see miniaturisation in back of my head. I don’t know if I am destined for NW7 and I don’t want to find out. If I stop medication now my transplanted hairs will fall and I will get patchy areas of loss or maybe totally bald because when the surgeon was taking my donor area he told me I had so many hairs sleeping and in very weak condition. Check BeHappy profile, poor guy that’s what happens when you’re destined to be a NW7 get transplants and reach your level. I have seen NW8 I think, I mean their loss is so severe, that thin line of NW7 is like drawn with a pencil. Horrible thing man, just horrible
  6. You can go to Dr Pekiner in Turkey with your eyes closed. He’s among the world best and his waiting list is growing, soon he would’ve 2-3 years long lists like other exclusive surgeons.
  7. I know there’s no harm in them staying for long, but I wondered if removing them early would have any negative consequences. I guess people don’t give too much thought into this.
  8. After my first surgery I was really patient/scared and day 14 is when I had them all removed. I am happy with my results (for the most part) Just curious when did others have their scans completely gone or tried to remove them and if are happy with their results. Each clinic has different instructions, some even advise the day after etc. I don’t really care to know that, more interested in patient experiences.
  9. I haven’t seen any cases of thin donor with him yet and there are patients who have excellent sides, those imo are easy cases. For example a member Gatsby here had extremely bad donor, would Zarev for example have taken him? Also what percent of body hair is used by him? I am also curious what his post-op instructions are like. So many people overlook this but I know post-op care is just as important and he must be doing something different here that his patients don’t damage their grafts and get massive growth.
  10. One thing I was impressed from and I believe is the reason why nobody not even people who know I had a hair transplant can tell I had a transplant is because my surgeon Pekiner took time planning and implanting every graft. That’s some insane level of dedication and attention to detail. He would do one incision then think and plan the next one, he spent hours implanting and took care of every implanted graft. It’s why everyone thinks I have natural hair now. Nature is imperfect and it’s what makes nature so beautiful and hard to recreate. There is no perfection. In the randomness is the perfection. Your analogy of farmland and forests is perfect.
  11. On the contrary, beard heals so well there’s no scarring at all. Scalp leaves scarring. I don’t understand though you look like NW5/6 giving you coverage overall seems easy. How is your donor and beard hairs. You should also forget about the side temples, they are a nice extra and should be recreated when there are actually spare donor. Mate, if you don’t have visa issues, travel shouldn’t be a hinderance.
