  1. I 100% second what Gatsby said Surgery is the very last resort. The best advice I can give you is NEVER GET A HAIR TRANSPLANT if you have the slightest doubt about it A poor hair transplant can completely ruin your existence
  2. I honestly would choose neither Rahal nor Wesley especially if I was beyond Norwood 4. They are very expensive and their results are "average +" at best.... Forget about them. Honestly. For advanced Norwoods I'd go with FUT: Hattingen, H & W or Konior FUE: 2 step FUE with Zarev, Sethi, Pitella, FUE: Or 3-step FUE with Pinto, Freitas, Couto, Ximena, Ferreira
  3. Wow thank you so much !!!! This is the best treatment is the world 😍😍😍😘
  4. Well it's really really hard to say what would be "ideal" for you. Looks like Norwood 5-6. On one hand, I think you are way too far gone for medication to "regrow" hair unfortunately. Medication can boost the remaining miniaturizred hairs that you still have on top but the problem is you don't have many left...You should certainly give it a try though. Try oral dutasteride 0.5mg, oral minoxidil, some topical anti androgens such as fluridil/RU58841 and microneedling. And give it a good 6 months. Definitely give a try. On the other hand, you're not the "ideal" candidate for hair transplant because your hairloss is extensive. In other words this would require a huge investement on your part (money, energy and significant time spent on researching, waiting time etc...) and thus would take several years to achieve. BUT you do seem to have a good donor area based on these pictures. Don't rush into surgery. While you are on medication spend time daily on this forum and research research research....Transplants are a huge deal my friend. Truth is they are life-altering, leave irreversible consquences such as permanent scarring (FUE is not scarless...) and extremely consuming emotionally... The risk of failure (poor growth, damaged donor, low density etc...) is always high. Certainly higher in turkish hairmills but just because your choose a reputable doctor is by no means a guarantee of sucess. Depends on your goal.... if your goal is to "just get a decent hairline" and you would be happy with just some baseline coverage to improve your overall appearence then I would look into decent budget options such as Dr. Bicer, Demirsoy, Gur, Turan. They do decent work and get improve your image for a fair price. If your goal is to recreate the illusion of "full head of hair" then forget about Turkey completely... I think you should go with A) A 3-step procedure with one of the best spanish/portuguese FUE surgeon. Pinto, Freitas, Couto, Ximena, Ferreira B) 2 FUT strip sessions with Hattingen, Hasson & Wong or Konior if you can afford him. The FUT in my opinion would be beneficial in your particular case because it would allow to better optimize your donor area. C) Megasession with FUE master like Zarev, Sethi, Pitella. These are your 3 options.
  5. Serkan is obviously a mill. That's for sure. But at the same time, he's not that bad. Serkan, Cinik etc are still way better than the 1500€ mills like AsliTarcan, Arenamed, Sanantur etc...even though they are notorious hairmills too. I've talked and analyzed Serkan's clinic many times in my previous posts. Check them out. But no need to worry at this stage. Serkan is still amongst the "better hairmills". He used to be pretty bad and he has really improved tremendously over the last 3-5 years. Actually I've seen outstanding results from Serkan on the italian hairloss forum and on some french youtubers (all cherry picked or course) but still they were amazing. I'll be honest. I don't like guys like Serkan or Cinik....But the truth is MOST (not all of course) turn out okay/good. Brett Maverick went to Serkan recently. It really depends on which team of technicians you get but I don't remember seeing a disaster from Serkan in a while so rest assured. Who were your techs ? What did Serkan say durint the 3 min "initial consultation" ? In a few day, you'll have a better preview of what your donor and recipient looks like. From there, we'll be able to speculate. Transplants are a gamble. I've recently seen guys going to recommended US surgeons like Charles, Diep paying 20 000$ and getting crap results.... While other are lucky enough to get good results from hairmills... This is a lottery. There are no rules. So don't worry for the moment.
  6. Fantastic result !!!! Great growth and great coverage Better than most results I've seen from reputable doctors in a while Sometimes hairmill hit homeruns.... This is a lottery guys. It really is
  7. The problem with shaving is that it doesn't solve the problem at all.... All is does is convert your insecurity about hairloss into an obsession over the balding pattern or "shadow" that is still noticeable even with you go with a razor. Your baldness will still be visible. You'll still be very self-conscious. I've been there for several years. Tried it. Such a crap... You would still have to take action and do something else like SMP or the extreme opposite which is scalp laser removal to get the clean look. Or wax the crap out of the remaining balding hair which hurts like crazy lol... That is the great irony of shaving and the false "self acceptance philosophy".... Shaving is not a self-acceptance move at all.... It's just a thinly-veiled and failed attempt to make a balding man's scalp homogenous.
  8. I would definitely second what sukh123 said. Your hairloss serms agressive and very diffuse. You may have some hidden DUPA in the donor area and the longevity of your transplant may be compromised. Also your crown seems to be dropping from Norwood into Norwood 6 so I believe getting on something like oral Dutasteride would be in your best interest.
  9. What 3 years ago ??.... Damn !! hairloss can be crazy fast and agressive sometimes... Reminds me of Baldcafé. He literally went from Norwood 0 full head of hair to Norwood 5-6 extremely severe diffuse thinner in less than 5 years. He would have probably needed something like Derek's "nuclear protocol" to stop it lol
  10. I agree. In my opinion, any doctor who.... 1. uses nurses for whatever step of the surgery 2. does several patients a day ...is a huge red flag. No matter how "reputable" he is.
  11. I'm sincerely sorry for your bad experience bro. I know how exhausting mentally, financially and physically it is to go through this ultramarathon... It's a shame cuz the results of the 1st surgery was pretty decent. I think he owes you a 50% refund. That sounds fair to me. Perhaps not 100% because the 1st surgery was relatively sucessful but definitely 50% because of the very poor yield in the 2nd one. My theory is that the techs might have messed up during the implantation phase when they tried to implant in between hairs from the 1st surgery... Not everyone is capable of sucessfully implanting on area with already has a significant number of pre-existing hairs. Believe it or not, this requires a very high skillset. Dr.Diep is charging 6-8$ per graft and hiring high school kids to "operate" on patients who listen to music and joke...That is absolutely ridiculous. It's really sad but this is an extremely dirty industry. Money money money at all cost. No matter the well-being of the patient... Zero ethics. That's why I prefer Konior. I'm not saying he's pefect. His prices are astronomical but at least his results are rock solid and he would never let some party girls perform any of the steps of such an extremely expensive, life-altering and incredibly complex surgical procedure. You pay, he delivers and you get what you pay for. Now the good news is you don't have much hairloss bro. Looks like a Nw 2-3 hairline and you're just starting to thin on the crown. You wanna stay on a very solid pharmaceutical stack. The last thing you want is your crown starting to expand. Once you lose the crown things become VERY complicated you know what I'm sayin bruh. I would hold off from surgeries for a while. Consider a biopsy in order to rule out any potential rare scalp condition and look for a repair doc. A step by step approach consisting of 2-3 "baby procedures" might do the trick. Scar tissue is tricky and you don't want to implant too many grafts at once. All the best and good luck.
  12. Pinto, Couto, Freitas, Bisanga and of course Konior (if you can afford him lol)
  13. Yes. It's called DUPA. Means the donor is also sensitive to DHT. although not nearly as bad as recipient. You gotta be on Finasteride/Dutasteride.
  14. Dr. John Diep has some excellent results but also way too many mediocre ones... His post-op care seems very poor and seems to outsources a lot of the work to techs too... And of course he is extremely expensive.... You pay a crazy amount of money and you end up looking like you've been to Ilker Apaydin lol.... I'd pick someone like Bicer (who is affordable and "average +" quality) over guys like Dr. Diep any day of the week.
  15. Go to a better doctor bro. Cortez has several cases of donor area overharvesting on this forum.
  16. "It is natural to see double and triples in the hairline" Vicrum Jaypra CASH 😂
  17. Wise decision. Give finasteride some time It won't regrow the hairline but it will definitely prevent things from getting worse. I'd say 2000 grafts is reasonnable for your 1st procedure. Do your homework. Avoid hairmills
  18. ASMED is one of the worst and most notorious hairmills out there. They've botched 10-15 guys on this forum... Avoid it. HLC used to be somewhat better than ASMED but I've seen some really crappy results and a VERY nasty botch recently... Stay away Bicer is the safest option although not comparable with the best in Spain/Portugal/Belgium None of them is a repair specialist.
  19. Please provide updates on a regular basis. Everything is looking okay for the moment. No worries. Forget about the transplant now and reassess at the 3-month and 6-month mark. Sometimes "hairmills hit homeruns". Some guys are lucky. I hope you'll be one of them Insh'Allah 🙏 Best of luck
  20. Sahin Celik is the absolute GOAT. I'm sure this result will be a homerun. All the best and good luck bro 👍
  21. Shilling milling or legit review bruh ? POST SOME BEFORE AND AFTER PICTURES bro !!!!!!!!
  22. I completely agree with that. Also FUE megasessions on high Norwoods are always a gamble and a big risk you have to accept before moving forward. Now guys like Sethi, Zarev, Pitella seem to have mastered the graft survival variable in megasessions but still you never know. As great as they are, I am sure all these guys have had failures and cases of poor growth during their career. Every top doctor has unfortunately. Sad but true. You can get a fantastic results but in the worst case scenario you could also lose most of your donor capacity forever... That's why it makes sense to start with a strip with a legit "strip master". Someone like Hattingen, Konior, Hasson. If it fails then you could still take another strip or switch to FUE. Of course you're screwed because of the scar but your donor capacity is still relatively preserved. Breaking up your surgery into 3-4 with one of the best FUE spanish/portugese surgeons is also an option to consider if you're Nw 6-7.
  23. Hell no ! 😂🤦‍♀️🔥 I don't know if you are joking bro but in case you are serious AsliTarcan is arguably one of the worst clinics in Turkey. They are notorious for permanently destroying people's donor areas (which is basically the LIMITED graft supply that you have at the back for your lifetime). Never go there or you will regret it every single second for the rest of your life. Don't be fooled by Hair of Istanbul...They're aren't much better... We all know Floyd Mayweather went there but remember when celebrities go to a hairmill, the run of the mill gives them his very best team of technicians. They have 15-20 different teams of technicians operating daily. 3-4 are probably the most experienced ones and are okay, the rest is all 20-year old nurses with minimal training. The average Joe will likely get the crap teams of techs so.... It's like playing russian roulette. Hair of Istanbul is the kind of clinic to put 4000 grafts on 20-year old Norwood 2 guys just for the hairline. And they are pretty expensive for a hairmill... Repair surgeries with good doctors are extremely expensive...We are talking +10k $... And let's be real here: they can never get you back to baseline... If you let a hairmill slay your donor area then you are pretty much screwed for life. Especially if you are beyond Norwood 3 to begin with.... Long hair center ? Total crap. Hairmill too. Don't waste your time, money and donor area on these fools. Turkey is the country with the largest number of clinics in the world but it's the land of botch. There are literally 5 clinics in that country that I'd trust. And even the better clinics in Turkey are not the best clinics in Europe. You should do your research and spend some quite some time on this forum. Hair transplant is a huge deal with lifelong consequences. FUE is not scarless. Don't you think you can shave your head after a failed FUE.... Read my previous posts please
