  1. I've been asked to provide pre-surgery pictures and here they are. Apologies for the delay. I will also post the chat soon.
  2. I think you might be referring to my thread. I don't really know the answer so didn't reply to you there, but the clinic said they used microscopes but missed "sleeping hairs". Doubles that appeared to be singles. Another well known clinic I spoke with said that's complete BS, and wouldn't explain how many were missed in my hairline. So I'm still wondering if this is true or if there's a better answer.
  3. It's noticeable below a #4 and definitely a #3. But maybe that's my perspective, it's definitely the least of my worries. Here are some more pics
  4. Even in their post op they don't stand by their work. Their reply has been "It is completely normal to have multiples in row 2 and 3." So that just tells me how half-assed their repair might just be. If you need to know, this was Dr. Dogan Turan from FUECAPILAR. I'm now tired of waiting for them to properly acknowledge this and offer a truly professional repair plan rather than just tacking on some singles in front.
  5. Yes this was a DHI technique, but they still took them under a microscope. Or so they say.
  6. Thank you. I appreciate the thoughtful comment and advice. I'm writing up a review of my experience right now and will post it soon. Definitely don't want someone else to go through the same.
  7. Yeah I suppose you're right. What would be considered a hair mill here like Dr. "C" was quoting about 1700 USD give or take. The reputable Dr's in Istanbul don't seem to charge that much more than that. The Dr. did the implantation himself, I figured that would've been a good sign.
  8. Ironically everyone thinks this was a cheaper clinic. It cost me $4k US with a $250 euro discount for coming in short notice when they had an opening (paid twice that for the quick flight premium). I've sent my pictures to inquire about repairs and some clinics even thought this was a $1k HT.
  9. The main point of my post is mainly to seek advice. I promise I will do a thorough review and say who performed it soon. If I'm honest, part of the reason I haven't exposed who this is because I want to give them an opportunity to rectify it and see how they handle it from their own professional ethics perspective. The added pressure of having their name blown up might just show they only react to publicity, not out of professional integrity. On a personal level, I'm kind of stuck between a rock and a hard place because I might need them to repair it due to the price it would cost with other truly reputable Dr's.
  10. Hey guys appreciate all the kind replies. I have work to do but will keep replying when I'm off. I understand that I should use a different Dr. but money is an issue now. I've not worked for some time after the HT and afterwards my mental took an impact when I started noticing the poor results. That's kept me from taking better paying gigs (kinda been a hermit) and obviously that's affected the wallet.
  11. It was 4300 grafts. The question is, should I trust them with a repair? They've been so reluctant to even admit an issue and even downplay it. Trust me, the thicker and multiple grafts are more noticeable in person. They've stated that its most likely due to single hair grafts that were placed in front and did not grow. Then they've stated that its "sleeping grafts" that seemed like singles under microscope and turned out to be doubles. Both of which are clearly not true and visibly so from my post op. Also, how can so many have been missed multiples?
  12. Left Donor is depleted, it's quite noticeable, but the right seems fine. I imagine they can also take fine hairs from right above the ear?
  13. Here is an image I had taken a few months back to show the distance.
  14. Do you know if this type of repair must be done in two sessions or can it be done in one?
  15. Understood, I'm not trying to protect them at all. I will post an in-depth review soon as this is a very popular Dr. on these forums. As I'm speaking to them about a repair (though not looking like they want to own up to it or inspiring confidence that they truly want to fix it), I want that to be reflected in the review. Here are some more images. Including a post op so you can see how they purposely overloaded my front with multiples.
