  1. I think you’ll find that gene editing will come before hair cloning. We cloned sheep a couple of decades ago. We can grow hair and even an ear on mice. However growing hair on a human being is a quantum leap.
  2. To get this kind of Norwood 7 coverage with only 6,309 grafts is incredible by todays standards. 👌 My last procedure was 1,200 grafts and it felt more like having a haircut. 😂
  3. I’m not a doctor but perhaps you could drop the topical minoxidil and up the oral minoxidil from 2.5mg to 5mg. The Nizoral 2% shampoo is something that personally (and this is just my opinion) could be dropped as I don’t see how it benefits being on the scalp for only ten minutes in the shower to penetrate the scalp. But you are on a pretty much perfect regime. 👌
  4. @Knightrider if this is your second failed hair transplant now then I would be thinking strongly of having a biopsy with a dermatologist before going ahead with a third procedure.
  5. @londonbased for 2,500 grafts and with a large head (like myself) I think the results are good. The fact you are taking dutasteride and now oral minoxidil will also help you. Depending on your donor if you wanted more density you could opt for a second pass. From the pics your crown appears to still be intact and this is where the meds will help in keeping what you have and help strengthen the hair you have. All the best!
  6. It's just dead hair. Nothing to worry about re: your transplanted grafts. You could consider using a shampoo like Nizoral 2%. All the best.
  7. @head since you are in the UK I would definitely recommend you to get a consultation with Dr Mani Mittal as well.
  8. Looking good and on point @Kurse196. You still have a lot of hair on top to keep so my opinion is to stay on the meds. Thanks for sharing!
  9. I’m not a doctor. However being only 25 I would consider thinking about keeping the rest of your hair in the years to come with Finasteride also. You have a very youthful face and the results from this surgery will be excellent. 👌
  10. @FormerFutureKrillin trust me. Slow and steady wins the race! Over time this will be a thing of the past. No one will pick up on your hairline (unless they are looking for it). From my own personal experience scars/redness continue to improve ongoing overtime . You've got a lot of hair bro. 👊
  11. @head did you just have a high forehead or has your hair begun receding? I'm not a doctor but at only 19 you really should (need?) to get onto finasteride and try and prevent any future MPB. How long ago did you have this surgery? Unfortunately you have made the same mistake I did when I was 18. for the time being don't touch your finite donor. You do not want to be in a situation where you have tapped out all of your donor in ten years and you're still experiencing further MPB. Good luck with Dr Farjo. I wish you had have found the forum before the surgery but what's done is done. What you do from here will dictate everything.
  12. That's some dense packing there alright. This is going to be a great result! 👊
  13. Does Dr Milne take on Norwood 6/7 cases? Does he utilize beard/body grafts? Finally what are his thoughts on medication (finasteride, dutasteride, oral minoxidil, etc)?
  14. If it’s a two staged approach and the second surgery is in another area like the crown you could have surgery after six months. Personally though 12 months is much better because the donor area will have been given longer to heal and bounce back. Also it’s better to give the first surgery 12 months so you know exactly what you need to work with.
  15. @Hairrevival101 you have chosen an excellent surgeon. Stay on the Finasteride. Even if it is not growing new hair but you are not losing more hair then it is working. Thanks for sharing and I look forward to seeing your updates.
  16. I’ve been on the carnivore diet over the past three and a half weeks and I’ve dropped 8kg already.
  17. Looking good. As a Norwood 7 in your mid 20’s (?) I would be extremely reluctant to waste finite grafts in the hairline and temple points. The only reason I agreed in my second pass to touch the hairline and temples was to finally hide my hairline scar from when I was young and butchered. Dr Sethi will more than likely want to add a little to the hairline and temples. However like @SLA I would stand your ground and focus purely on any weak points. I would keep oral minoxidil up your sleeve for later and the same with SMP. Stick with Finasteride now (if you are taking it/can tolerate it). As you know surgery for hair loss is like trying to hit a moving target. You want to preserve not just your donor but also the transplanted hair from that donor for not just the years but the decades ahead of you. I think your results are incredible and ten years ago this would have been just a dream for both of us. All the best for your next procedure.
  18. I think two and a half months is too early. Give it six months and compare your baseline pic to a six month pic. Better yet you could consider oral minoxidil. It goes systemic by passing through the liver and is a lot less messy and easier to comply with. All the best.
  19. Looking great @Steeeve. Plenty of time ahead of you and great to see the crown already kicking in. 💯👌
  20. Personally I’m not a fan of micro needling. Stick to oral finasteride and minoxidil if you can tolerate them. Again it’s my opinion and I’m not a doctor. All the best.
