  1. I am also a drummer myself and the 80s were always my favorite era of music, movies, hair styles, clothing, TV shows, ect... Always dreamed to have the same shocking hair style of my favorite bands, pro wrestlers and movie stars. I am wondering if people had those hairstyles after having HT procedures? You can also share your favorites!
  2. 440 FUE grafts by Dr.Maras and HDC medical team for temporal peaks result, 9 years post result, the paitent had each side 220 grafts, this procedure demands a lot of accuracy of correct hair angles and incisions pattern for natural look. The photos were taken recently. 3. Let's assume for the discussion that the clinic did harvest 2000 grafts, I don't know what expectations the paitent had for density, as he mentioned he wanted to save money. If we want high density result about 40-55 hairs per 1sq cm, I would roughly assume (with crown measurements) that ONLY the crown needs around 2000+- grafts which also depends how many double and triple grafts the donor have. It's a matter of how every clinic handle the grafts, how much of absorb % to the recipient area and the hair angles. Personally, when we predict low density It's less than 40 hairs per 1sq centimeter, less than 30 we prefer to decline the case.
  4. We need better positions of your donor, but I think you'll be good candidate, crown + middle scalp will require around 2500-3500.
  5. This is the Israeli celeb Eyal Golan, he had 2 FUT strip procedures at early and mid 2000's by Israeli local doctors, after the results he shaved his head with SMP till today and covered his FUT scars with this tattoo.
  6. I am not sure if you need temporal peaks procedure, it requires a lot of skill to make natural peaks look. These are 2 paitents that had temporal peaks at our clinics by Dr.Maras, one is 7 years result the 2nd paitent is 5 years after:
  7. You're very young and your donor is very limited, there's a chance after few years the transplanted hair will fall or get diffused with NW7 signs, also if you'd try more doctors to review your case I suggest you'll grow your hair more to understand your potential, it's very on the border if it's ethical to accept you or not, also you'll be be limited with a result of low to average minus density probably with a conservative hairline.
  8. Hair can sure give you a lot of confidence and your hair looks great as always!
  9. @Melvin- Moderatorcongrats bro! Really happy for you and appreciate your devoted work in this community and helping others. I have the same thoughts as you when picturing myself getting married 😉
  10. I am assuming he went through a medical malpractice by a technicians black market clinic, using overdose of anesthesia which caused the heart attack, he wasn't lucky to pull through like I did with Arenamed clinic in Turkey Istanbul, my worse experience ever! Anesthesia must be done only by MD doctor that specializes with anesthesia.
  11. For 3+ months it looks in the right direction, please update us more 😀
  12. At HDC clinic we offer Dr.Christina for 2 Euros per graft which can adjust to your budget, our clinic recommend in this forum and you can here many works of Dr.Christina, also in our Facebook and Instagram pages: https://instagram.com/doronhairadvisor_hdc?utm_medium=copy_link https://www.facebook.com/groups/326632715435825/?ref=share
  13. Regarding @johnfish123, I want to elaborate that his surgery was in July 2017 and it is now 4 years and 2 months, this is the link to his post and result 6 months after: https://www.hairrestorationnetwork.com/topic/50490-dr-kyriakos-maras-of-hdc-in-cyprus-6-months/
  14. 2800 FUE grafts by Dr.Christina and HDC medical team in Cyprus. 53 year old patient who wanted to increase the density in the front triangle starting from hairline, final result includes the preservation of the donor area. For free consultation please PM or WhatsApp +972526542654 HDC hair clinic Facebook group: https://www.facebook.com/groups/326632715435825/?ref=share HDC Instegram: https://instagram.com/doronhairadvisor_hdc?utm_medium=copy_link
  15. @Parasolso glad to see your result! It's my pleasure to assist you always 😀
  16. @JohnAC71is correct, HDC clinic and any clinic with high ethical morality must never accept 21 years old for a procedure, unfortunately I met guys that were botched at your age and even 19 years old guys, at HDC we accept at least around 24 years old youngest and also most of times we suggest them to wait more years to let the hairloss progress. 2 reasons for that, some 20 years guys have an early aggressive hairloss with NW7 potential, so even if we'll do the procedure and the paitent will be happy with the result, after few years his transplanted hair will certainly fall because the DHT will reach to those grafts. Second reason, most early 20's paitents are only at NW1-NW2 stage, it's too early, a procedure can hurt the natural hair and won't fit it, I have seen NW2 guys that had procedures only at temples without the central hairline and it looks really bad after few years, so we recommend that paitents will reach NW3 so the doctor can create the zigzags of the new hairline, we need a regression of 3cm around the hairline for that. I also believe you have a DUPA, this create lack of stability at the donor area, many doctors believe it's genetics, I had DUPA around 17-18 years ago due to huge stress and hard time I had, but my hair came back after 3 months and around 6 months after my "normal" hair loss started.
  17. @Egyto have only examination by an MD dermatologist is ok, however some trichologists are non certified MD who also offer treatments, I want to make sure that any paitent won't do any treatment unless it was recommended or suggested by the clinic. The clinic also suggested few months ago not to do the laser treatment that was discussed on this thread for example.
  18. I consider proper for the members of this forum to present the case of UnbaldEagle to its objective view. If UnbaldEagle does not wish to continue this thread, then I respect his decision and the administrator can delete the thread. Furthermore, I have been in touch with the clinic, and they promise that they will provide their full support to UnbaldEagle like they do to all patients and invite him to the clinic to evaluate his result and fix whatever is needed.
  19. @Egy, what you say can be a small possibility but photos with different lighting shows different views. For example this photo posted on the 5.5 month after, shows that there is no redness. So unless we have the real development of the result I recommend not to give possible misleading advice to the patient.
  20. @Gasthoerer, every clinic have their protocol, when I wrote "the doctor must" I meant and referred to the doctors at HDC clinic, yes I do know about motorized punch that you mentioned for curly hair, however you still must be extra careful with curly hair, most of sessions we use motorized punch but there are some exceptions, for instance we had a Yemen paitent with curly hair very hard rooted almost like afro, we didn't want to take a risk so he had manual punch, therefore those sessions have smaller amount of grafts per day of surgery. Thanks for the compliment🙏🏻
  21. It requires a lot of patience from the doctor, some curly hair are hard rooted and then the doctor must use manual punch for these cases, it requires a lot of skill so there won't be transactions over the grafts and to preserve the donor area properly, curly hair procedures can tend to have more scars compare to others if it's not done professionally.
