  1. thanks for the update David but i still hope its not snake oil...
  2. Spanker, in your opinion, which 5? Guys, everyone is entitled to their own opinions. Lets not wage a war on this. Just wanted some input from u guys on who u guys think r the best in this biz
  3. I thought it was a really fantastic result given where he started from. Can u tell us the break down of scalp hair and hair from other areas?
  4. for me, its not abt girls or dating at all. once i bathed and off concealers, i find it very depressing to look into the mirror. Its like a Jekyl and Hyde personality and its affecting my mental well being
  5. Sean, i couldn't agree more with orlhair. You do have very good hair but thats not a fair comment. Its like 20 yrs down the road i would be thrilled to have whatever hair i have now. Having said that, it does look like there wasnt' that much of a 'wow! what a transformation! ' kind of result. I know people always say that the thickening and maturing would continue till as late as 18mths after HT but at least for me, it did not happen. Hence i really cannot force myself to say something for the sake of saying it. As for factors which might affect ( which Hariri wrote ), well, we will nvr know but i goto agree with him that for a 3k ish FUE procedure, i do notice that its always done in 2 days rather than 1 but i cannot label that as a reason. Anyway, like me, u will in the end get tired of speculating on the reasons and look fwd as to how to get the mane u wanted. Its tough bro, i feel for u, i have been in that same scenario albeit with much worse results and hair line
  6. hi buddy, actually ur growth seems to be in line with the timeline u set. I know its tough to just wait but there is nothing much u can do now. I think u look great at your age buddy, if thats of any consolation I would kill to have your current hair line when i was your age Whatever it is, take pride that u made the best decision at that point of time and look forward, not backwards cheers mate!
  7. Hi Bill and Aaron, the video is for real as it was demonstrated live in front of a audience. I have personally tried it, however i just felt it was too flat for my liking. I still prefer to use Nanogen though i have witnessed quite a number of posts giving caboki the thumbs up so my point it yes, prob u should add it into the list of products cheers!
  8. nope. nanogen is similar to toppik, a sprinkler kind of concealer and not rub on. That would be dermatch
  9. happy for u alix!!! hope i can say the same when i start consuming it
  10. matt, point taken. However, i am sure u are aware of the recent mayhem associated with finas and Merck in particular. No matter the argument, nobody can dispute the fact that it did cause some permanent health issues for some, so i am taking a very precautious approach. Hopefully i do not belong to that small category guys. It would be more assuring if more finas users can contribute to this thread!
  11. thanks bob!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  12. Thanks bob! However, do u have any parameters in mind?
  13. that sounds quite scary. i am really worried abt the sides so probably i will take it really slowly like 0.25mg once a week for a month first... some dosage is better than none and i will take it from there I will probably do a series of tests first PRIOR to any consumption so that i can actually measure the levels numerically rather than leave it to psychology Any parameters that i should take note of?
  14. thanks guys for the input! What i have gathered is finas is defn the most powerful weapon against MPB right now, and the side effects are very real and do occur to a small handful of users.. I guess the key will be how much hair matters to each individual and whether that risk is worth taking.. My question now is this, lets say i take a very small dosage, like 1 pill a week, for lets say months, does it still help a bit? Or is there a very strict dosage we need to adhere to for any effect to take place? thanks!
  15. Hi all! I'm a 35 year old hair loss sufferer and having a really difficult time deciding whether or not to take Finasteride. It seems to me that more and more people are sporting permanent side effects The credibility of your feedback will be much higher than those u read in Merck websites or related. And i really appreciate if any of you can share your experience and help me in making this decision. 1. How long have you been on Finasteride? 2. Have you experiencing side effects? If yes, what are the side effects? 3. Did you quite the drug once the side effects came up? 4. Did the side effects go away after you quite? 5. What is your overall feedback on this drug?
  16. i agree with u, its really damaging emotionally. There isnt a day i can wake up and forget that i am balding and i would always subconsciously look at pple's hair. It really hurts to see so many guys of my age ( i m 35 ) having that thick beautiful head of hair and even folks in their 50s seem to ve more than me. Its really very very upsetting... cheers to all brothers in hand to fight this
  17. Spanker, pre op jitters are normal but to me, its the unsatisfactory end results which will throw u deep down into a dungeon...
  18. thats a heart warming case sir kudos to both u, the brother and ISHRS
  19. I would be really really thrilled if i can get a result like that... Somehow i think my pattern of loss is similar to his albeit a bit worse...
  20. looking good janna! I reckon he is not at his final stage yet?
