  1. Finally a documented case of SMP on a non-shaved head. looks damn good! I ve a question though, u guys keep talking abt the SMP having the thickening effect? I figured SMP are just lots of dots that mimic vvvvvv short hair but ultimately its only 2D... can someone elaborate a bit more? thanks!
  2. hey guys, sorry i have been travelling, alas to places like Jakarta for business, not exactly fun! Anyway thanks for the comments guys, actually i am very curious as to why most of u would not recommend dense SMP at the front line? Does it really look very unnatural? HT, i did not receive any PM...
  3. hey man, its good to be back!!! i think i shld ve enough hair to sport that look, i would prob be a NW 2 to 3 at this moment. Do u ve any examples or links for me to access to? thanks a million!!! Marcus
  4. Hey guys thanks for the reply. Also, i intend to keep my hair short but not buzzed look. I have yet to see any results posted here showcasing that. It seems that all the SMP guys have their hair all buzzed down to a zero guard.. Do u think SMP can work something like a concealer to a short and neat crop of hair
  5. Hi guys... its been a looooooong time since i logged in. Trust everyone is getting 'bushy', every pun intended Anyway to cut things short, can i have some comments on HIS hair clinic specialising in SMP? I have done some research and they look good with many good comments and testimonials Anyone has anything to comment? cheers Marcus
  6. I know nothing of SMP ( as of now ) but i have to comment on fixstrip's post. From the first time i spoke to Janna, to having the 2nd op, and till now, it has been more than 2 yrs since our first conversation and she is completely nothing like the way u mentioned. She would stay up on Skype to encourage me and made sure i knew exactly what would happen during the procedure ( hey guys, its nvr comfortable for anyone even though he has 3 or 4 ops ) We regularly contact via SMS etc and she is always ready to address any concern that i had, so i just wanted to give some opinion from my perspective
  7. so far, i do not see any more loss in my native hair, only the transplanted hair esp the temples, thats the most obvious, u know its not just me when pple ard me start to say the same thing. Maybe i shld take half a pill every other day. Do u guys think that this might balance out a bit? I know its tough to gauge...
  8. Hey Spanker, hows things? Yup so far i do not experience any noticeable sides.. so its unfortunate that i have this weird pattern of shedding I will continue and update u guys in another 3 months time!
  9. hey sean! Hows things? As u can see, finally i took the plunge with regards to the meds but alas, i have got the most conflicting results... My transplanted region looks much thicker 2 mths back! My shedding came mainly from the frontal aka recipent area and i am very perplexed Its not me, everyone ard me is telling me the same thing so i am kinda confused whether i shld continue the med. Its sad that i am able to tolerate without any sides yet this happened
  10. Shacked, i am consuming half a tablet everyday now, and for the last 3 months hsrp, my scalp is quite dry, possibly from the prolonged use of minox. I should be quite healty, i dun smoke and seldom drink and i work out all the time, i really do not think my general health is causing this Anyway point is, do u guys think i shld throw in the towel and totally discountinue? or bash thru? I should think this is just the shedding phase but it has been 7 months and i can feel more bald than a couple months back, esp at the transplanted area its really ridiculous to think that the very med thats supposed to slow down hair loss is actually making it worse, does it many any sense guys?
  11. hey guys, i have a question hopefully u guys can help me out i started on propecia in sept 2013, so it has been a good 7months as of now. I started with half a pill every 3 days for a month and currently i am consuming half a tablet everyday Problem is even till now, i am quite sure i am thinning ( or shedding ) esp in the frontal zone where i had my 2 HTs done on I know everyone reacts diff to the drug and so far i am very pleased as i had no side effects ( at least not that i know of ), however, can u guys chip in? Should i stop it altogether or i should continue and hopefully there is light at the end of the tunnel? There is defn no logic that the very med used to slow down hair loss is actually accelerating it right?? cheers
  12. Thats the thing i hate abt forums sometimes. Some poster coming in and spreading totally untrue stuff even without doing the basic research!
  13. hi guys, i have been consuming 0.5mg of propecia every other day and so far ( touch wood) for a month and a half, well, i did not experience any giddiness, mood swings, wood problems etc etc I know it does not mean that it will not kick in, in the future ( sides ) but just wanted to get a show of hands of u guys who had experienced sides ONLY after taking the meds for some time? I spoke to Janna ( representing Dr Ron who did my 2nd HT ) and she said i can continue with the dosage as per above mentioned.. I have come across a few posts here and there.. displaying good results of patients just taking 0.25mg a day combined with minox.. but anyone else who consumed lower than the prescribed 1mg and has fantastic results?
  14. i have been trying to do something like that but if the dermatch is dry, its impossible to smear onto the hair... do u use the applicator?
