  1. I don't think that i need any of you to tell me what I should and what I shouldn't write or not write. I don't need to defend my content or try to put things in perspecive for you. So you need to try and not seem like such a wannabe. Also, I was not in a conversation with you. So please do me a favour and don't interact on my posts because you have left nothing but negative comments on all of our posts whenever you have commented. The only thing manufactured here is your faceless profile behind which you hide and try to act brave and i am sure you get paid to do it.
  2. That is absolutely and utterly untrue and I think that you should do proper research and speak to patients who have had their procedure here before putting such false information on the internet for everyone to see and be mislead. I am sorry but this kind of baseless and false information provided by individuals like you with little to no knowledge makes up for false facts that slander the reputation and the hard work done by the Doctors. It takes years for the Doctors to build their practice and then you find it so convenient to spread false information like this. I am so agitated reading this because I work with them and I just know that this is false. Please don''t try to justify yourself by saying that you framed a question because I sincerely believe that people on the forum are smart enough to read through your implications. This comment that you have made is extremely and utterly vile. Can you tell me where you have heard this from? Because I have heard things that many people on this forum wouldn't like hearing back. Also, I don't just hear things. I collect proof.
  3. Thank you sir... You are indeed very generous with your words... I shall be definitely following your thread....
  4. Best of luck. Wish you a future filled with super amazing hair on your scalp...
  5. 3000 grafts for your case seems a bit too much. Do you want a really low hairline? is it?
  6. I think you should continue Finasteride and Minoxidil for longer. I had the same experience when I started these medicines. But after a year, I started to see their effcets with regards to the growth and complete hairfall stoppage as well. You should: 1. Add hair specific multivitamins to your regime 2. Increase your protein intake 3. Manage stress efficiently 4. Have a work out regime I don't think that anything else is required. Also, PRP could help boost the effects of medicines.
  7. Aww... Thank you for being so genuine and open about it. Please don't say sorry. And I completely understand your point of view. It is true that these cosmetic procedures can be addictive but some of these are just such a requirement for me... But gaian its just a thought. I haven't really dived into it yet.
  8. Hello everyone, So I got like this really and unbelievably thick growth after like 2 and 1/2 years of my transplant. Pictures clicked by none other than dear Dr. Pradeep Sethi... even his photography skills are beyond this world. And then came the blunder where I decided to colour my hair or just highlight the curls but the hair dresser ruined it by bleaching my hair at least 6 times. Nothing happened to the growth or density but I lost my natural curls and blonde hair didn't really look good on me. So I got a haircut and then sank in my sorrows of losing the hair and the curls I loved so much... sob sob... But every cloud has a silver lining and I think this new hairstyle is clean and cool. So all is well that ends well. Surprisingly even when I cut my hair in the donor really small, there were no spacing visible. I am truely grateful to God for giving me a good donor and good doctors. Look at me all swollen up in sorrow. Next procedure for me will be facial liposuction, a nose job and blepharoplasty for my eyebags...
  9. Thank you... I can;t wait to see you either... Your Indian monkey this side wants to see your results... Mr. ginger...
  10. Your beard seems to have a fair density. If you are comfortable going in for extraction of the donor from your beard then you could achieve full coverage with adequate density.
  11. It is true. When you are honest about your procedure, there is nothing to hide. And thus, nothing for anybody to use against you.
  12. Beautiful topic to have a discussion on. Such a sad thing that something which could give one confidence and happiness is frowned upon in most parts of the world. Surprisingly, in India, people are very accepting of the hair transplantation phenomenon. They obviously hide it for vain reasons. They never want to be perceived as bald or just want to erase their bald look forever. Sometimes, it also provides fodder for unnecessary gossip. But amazingly, people here have been extremely supportive of me when I started sharing my pictures and videos. They never judged me or made fun of my choice to go for a cosmetic surgery. We have so many youngsters going in for this here.
  13. I think I is such a subjective topic. The candidacy of body hair as a donor seems correlated to factors it's calibre, density, growth rate among many others. I have seen some patients with a fair growth where the chest hair was planted. But in majority, not a very satisfactory survival rate. Plus, these hair from the chest etc tend to shed off and grow back after a huge gap unlike beard and scalp donor grafts.
  14. Even in such a painful situation, you have had the heart to share your experience with others and help them learn. You should be very proud of yourself that you have the courage and resilience to battle such a situation. I know that it must have altered your appearance and it must be so frustrating. But please don't hate yourself for it or take it to your heart. After all, it is just hair. I hope you find the correct measures to remedy this situation. However, regardless of the hair or no hair - please never say that you hate yourself or you want to kill yourself. Life is so much more that just hair. Trust me, with hair or without, people who love you will do so nonetheless. I really hope that you do not take this the wrong way. I can completely understand your pain. And I pray to God that he give you strength, resilience and peace. The guys on this forum are very knowledgeable And I am sure that they will be able to guide you towards getting a remedy to the situation. And even if there is no remedy, you can always be outgoing and social. Don't allow this to change your perspective on life. Your life is way too precious for this. Sorry for the comment above but I wish you all the happiness in the world. From one brother to another.
  15. It has been wrongly thought and propagated by some people that Direct hair transplantation (DHT) is impossible to perform and those claiming to perform DHT are actually not doing simultaneous extraction and implantation. However, that's not true. This idea was first conceived, and published by Dr Arika Bansal and Dr Pradeep Sethi. The publication link is mentioned below: https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC3764754/ They have been able to demonstrate this technique through live surgery workshops at various conferences. 1. Chandigarh CUTICON 2013 2. Kolkata ACSICON 2015 3. ACSI live surgery workshop in hair transplant was conducted at Eugenix in April, 2019. They have also demonstrated to this technique to various doctors coming to Eugenix for training, fellowship programs and workshops. Infact, Eugenix became the first centre to be accredited for training fellows by the National Dermatology Society (IADVL). Dr Pradeep is a professor of Hair transplant surgery at DY Patil University and involved actively in research and technology development related to the field of hair transplant. The unique idea of making the recipient sites beforehand and then doing extraction & implantation simultaneously has actually enabled them to reduce the out of body time drastically. Moreover, the unique implantation method by using implanters in pre made sites, we are able to implant in any position. This enables extraction and implantation to go on simultaneously in lateral positions (both right and left) and prone position.
  16. Almost 22 months completed after the procedure. Started using minoxidil again. Regularly on finasteride. Evry please with the density. Even when under sunlight, it is good.
