  1. Okay. Does Minoxidil really help? It does not retain hair though, isn't it? And isn't Ketoconazole for dandruff? Recently I saw a post where you also were thinking of PRP right? I have seen multitudes of people getting prp done. Some have responded well, some moderate and some not at all. I, for myself never got prp done because I hate needles. Do you still experience more hair loss sir?
  2. The hair post the frontal zone, especially in the crown and the temporal humps are being saved in my case due to the use of Finasteride alone. I feel that this medicine is so important and yet so misunderstood in so many ways.
  3. Talking about horns. If I leave finax then I will have super horns all the way. My sides are rebellious. Again I didn't go for PRP either. 🐓🐓🐓 I am. PRP can help in faster growth though. According to what I have seen.
  4. Guilty ✋. I have had a procedure with them Fter 2 years of getting absolutely frightened at the thought of it. They do have such beautiful results. I am amazed by how well researched the patients are. I have learnt so much from the patients. It is such a positive thing. I too, after all of this, have developed a temper for scientific temper and researched extensively prior to getting my dental reconstruction. But even then I still think that FUT patients are very brave. Your donor looks good and I applaud the doctor. I wish from all my heart that you have the best results possible for your case. So far it looks amazing.
  5. Finasteride is such a controversial topic. I think according to my experience with different people who have been taking this medication, it is very subjective from person to person. 1. People could actually experience side effects. They could just leave the medication and prepare themselves for a future procedure if required. 2. People could have psychogenic experiences of side effects. They can go for the sperm count tests and other necessary tests. They could also discontinue with the medication. However being aware of the future requirement for the procedure. 3. People who have no side effects could obviously continue with the medicine until they want hair on their scalp. 4. People who are confused and are not sure of being committed to the medication could altogether avoid transplant as well. Baldness is progressive. It is a choice for the first time (especially at a young age). As baldness progresses and the non transplanted hair start to disappear, the second transplant becomes a necessity. I think what people need to be is - more decisive. So many people are so scared of Finasteride and have such strong feelings against it. Finasteride has been a life saver for me though.
  6. Hello, It is okay to have anxiety after or prior to the procedure. There are so many scammers out there ruining the lives of hair transplant seekers and for genuine surgeons alike. It is only but natural to have this fear. However, I am sure if you chose a genuine doctor then he must have planted the total number of grafts promised or even more. After all, the donor grafts are extracted from your own scalp and it is not a commercial commodity to be imported or exported. However, what is more important is the use of new instrumentation for each patient. I feel, personally that there is nothing to be gained except for a potentially bad testimonial by planting lesser grafts for a patient. Black market surgeries have sprung up with vigour. They make the scenario hazy and difficult for us to identify the genuine doctors. However, the end results would be the biggest advocates for the doctors. Expectation also plays a major role. If the patient's expectations intermingle with the doctors' vision of the particular case then ther results would be satisfying and scientific for each individual. I think it is best if patients make a private video for themselves during the extraction process and implantation process so that they have the exact.count for the grafts being done. Or if patients have a family member who can stay with them during the procedure to make sure of the count. "Trust" is too abstract to rely upon. It is something that not everyone can nurture.
  7. For your kind information Mr. @TaranAdarsh sir, I have been wearing lens since 14 years almost now even prior to me losing hair. Let me post a picture of my graduation ceremony where I am wearing green lens. Now please don't say that the University made me wear that to promote their International student forum. You, sir, owe me an apology.
  8. Hello, I respect all of your views. Please let us stop mentioning my personal appearance on this forum. I have been wearing lens since almost 14 years now. It is not cool to indirectly cause offence to me. @Bill - Managing Publisher @Melvin-Moderatorplease can we stop everyone from talking about my personal choices? @TaranAdarsh where has it been said that I am International? Is it wrong to use my result pictures? I have given consent for it. @TaranAdarsh I am sorry to say this but I find your comments about me making me seem like an obedient slave and you have reduced my individuality. I am offended to the core. @Bill - Managing Publisher @Melvin-Moderator I joined this forum because I thought it was more intellectual and would give me a lot of information, which it has. However, I would appreciate it if people would refrain from talking about my choices. I just happened to see this post. It is offensive and not cool. Maybe I can make people speak to you who can prove to you then time duration of me wearing lens. Mortified, humiliated and not at all happy with such comments. @TaranAdarsh that was not nice of you to say.
  9. Thank you for your reply. I am a chicken so I find people who go for FUT really brave. I would passed out without anaesthesia. Even without the strip I was so anxious to get it done. I wish you the best results. And I think your donor looks so good. Your doctor seems really sweet to call you on the way back. Dr. Arika and Dr. Pradeep are also very sweet (not trying to advertise, just sharing 😅😅😅). They were very caring about my post OP. It helped that I work with them.
  10. So true. I wasted a lot of time trying all those things too. Shampoos, hair oils, lots of jungle nature stuff, eatables, basically anything I found - it was on my hair. Wish I had taken Finasteride immediately then.
  11. I left it for like three months periodically twice... I think I lost hair during that time. Now I am thinking of switching to Dutasteride but I feel like I'll be cheating on Finasteride though... It has really helped me a lot. But I don't think that it is a good idea to leave the medication completely. You would have your transplanted hair grow and the medication would ensure that your pre existing hair also stay and become thicker. Would be a wholesome treatment.
  12. OMG... can I take Dutasteride instead of Finasteride for better results? I just read that it is more effective and can grow hair also.

  13. Please don't mind me asking but does it still hurt in the donor? Just curious.
  14. Hello, It is so common in India for people to use such concoctions on their scalp. I am guilty of doing the same when I first started losing hair. Unfortunately it didn't work for me. And I didn't see any results with using garlic or onion juice/paste etc. Personally, I think it does not work. And if you have hairloss then you should go for proper medications asap. That would save you much more time and hair.
  15. Thank you sir for your kind words. I am happy that you felt my words were helpful. We wish you the best of results.
  16. Thank you sir for your kind words. I am happy that you felt my words were helpful. We wish you the best of results.
  17. Sorry for the misunderstanding. I hope we can be friends in the future. Do forgive me for instigating you.
  18. Thank you sir for being so nice to me. It is extremely overwhelming to find such a gem of a person like you. I highly value your advice and therefore tried to edit my post (1st) but the option was not available. I have however, quoted and replied for the same. I hope I can provide unbiased and objective feedback in this forum. Thank you from the bottom of my heart.
  19. Hello everyone, I apologise for not mentioning that I have the tremendous opportunity to work with Dr. Arika Bansal and Dr. Pradeep Sethi. Hope I can help in a very objective manner. Wish you all the best and much love.
  20. Thank you sir. We hope that we would be able to provide the best results for you. Thank you for your kind words.
  21. Thank you sir. I am glad that my results could help you. I know you are supporting me here. Heartfelt gratitude. Thank you so much.
  22. Thank you so much for your note. Mr. Melvin shall be helping me have the signature done. I was unaware of it and hence posted all my stuff in the forum. However I have a YouTube channel dedicated to the same. Wherein I have documented all of my hair transplant journey. Hope after the signature is done and the affiliation mentioned, it will be okay for me to post more of stuff. Thanks to you and Mr. Melvin, I can now be rest assured that I have not committed a crime by posting. I was so worried with it for a whole today. Thank you.
