  1. @Melvin-Moderator thanks bro, we don't always see eye to eye but I can tell your heart is in the right place, I will for sure document my repair here @Greg_Swansonthank you mate I appreciate it, it's sad really, this level of servility in grown men. I'm sad my hair isn't great, but all the happier I don't have a personality defect, in the end that's what matters most to others in your life @Mick50 i have accepted it and frankly am looking forward to my next transplant so I can finally put this ordeal behind me, I would say it looks quite a bit worse to the naked eye but in the end I can cover it relatively well with a comb-over, it's the lost grafts and time I am most saddened by, thanks for the support from the very start mate I truly do appreciate it @Baldrick101 from what I understand transplanting into an impacted area will have less growth due to scar tissue, so they are forced to compensate by exaggerating the number of grafts needed to ensure a good result. I have 100% trust in the clinics I have consulted with in terms of ethics, I know they are looking out for my best interest and not their wallets. @Sean I really hope your situation improves bro, no one deserves to go through this and I realize my case is not as bad as yours. I think you should look towards Konior and no one else, you need a specialist in every sense of the word and that man is a wizard when it comes to transplants, at least go for an in person consultation to see what he makes of your case. @BjornBorg I agree bro, it is a failure but not a botched horrorshow by any means, i realize it's unfair to those poor bastards that were butchered to call it that so for that I'm sorry. I am very disappointed though and unfortunately I am far from being alone in this. Luckily we're at a point now where more people are realizing something is wrong with this clinic, it feels good to know the negatives aren't being successfully suppressed by ASMEDs marketing team and sycophants.
  2. I'm sorry bro, I know how it feels and you're not alone, even outside this forum I've been contacted by many dissatisfied guys who had their surgery at ASMED. I would start looking at other clinics right away if I were you to fix this.
  3. Hey guys, here is a month 15 update for those still interested, really sorry for the delay, as I said I have been going through a rough patch in real life and have had to focus on that, I've been reading the forums though and other ASMED cases in particular. I recently have had consultations with two of the worlds top clinics and have another one in August with another leading clinic, I have been quoted 1500 grafts to fix this by both, we will see what the third one says but I expect it to be similar. Photos are after a shower with hair blow dried. Here is a summary of the issues: Image 1 Left side: this is the same side as my videos, density is bad, so bad that my hair falls flat when I slick it that way as if I have a hole in my head, I cover this side by slicking over it as in image 2 and 3. Image 2 Right side: density is better but not good enough, looks quite pluggy in person, the camera does make it look softer, this is the side I reveal when I style my hair as In image 2 and 3. Image 3 front: growth was better here and I am relatively happy, pluggy due to doubles and triples but I can live with that, it's not noticeable if I feather my hair forward as in the picture. Crown: I will make a separate update with pictures for my crown, when wet it looks roughly like pre-op, when dry it looks better. I don't know what to expect in terms of cosmetic improvement with only 800 grafts here but I can at least make it look good with toppik which is good enough for me. The takeaway from my consultations were that: 1. I have fantastic hair quality, strength and caliber 2. There is nowhere near 2800 grafts growing in my frontal third. 3. I have healed very nicely and my donor looks to have the capacity for a few thousand more grafts, also with my level of hairloss and its progression at 35 another procedure is not a big risk. So there you have it, I'm not going to respond to the ASMED patients gloating about their great results, I think this type of behavior really speaks for itself. As for me deliberately trying to disparage the clinic, I only ask you to look at the recent results from this clinic and ask yourself if you with a clear conscience could recommend ASMED to a friend or family member. To the other guys with lackluster results from this clinic, pm me if you want to talk or want advice on your options looking forward, thanks fellas.
  4. What do you mean Legend? This is not funny at all bro
  5. I'm glad you posted that thread because I really don't know what the point of Melvins picture was, an out of focus super closeup from a nw5 with the flash enabled will obviously look bad, even on someone with hair. Compared here to my month 6 picture i am guessing he was trying to emulate, how are they in any way similar.. i mean you can try to deny and deflect all you want but the video doesn't lie, and my pictures have all been high res at a distance to tell the unfiltered truth.
  6. Hey guys, really sorry for keeping you hanging but I have been dealing with some awful non hair-related shit in real life for the past month so I really couldn't find the time or willpower to do this properly, I took a new video in any case, here after a hair cut, 12 months: Compared to my 8th month: I'm calling it failed at this point because it obviously is. I mean I'm not that poor guy Sanjar (I think that was his name?) but I don't really see how this could be considered anything other than failed at this point.. In any case really sorry for keeping you waiting and I will try to get you a proper one year update this week to also show the other side as well as the crown, hope the video will suffice until then
  7. I'd be pretty excited if my 4.5 months looked like that, it does look ahead of the growth curve. Regarding hairs that never shed but aren't growing, I've read that the growing hairs underneath will eventually push these out but the process takes a bit longer than if they had shed on their own.
  8. @MHR84 @Kingbilla really sorry to keep you guys hanging, been dealing with some stuff in real life this past week so the update will have to wait until this weekend. I can pm you guys mobile pics, don't want to upload any more mobile photos here as mods have been second guessing them and claiming I'm deliberately making them look worse, also the digital camera shows the real unfiltered truth. I'm sorry to crush your hopes like mine have been, but there has barely been any improvements in the past two months. I will take this horrible experience as a lesson in treading the murky waters of this business and the unscrupulous and unethical people who exist in it. I will also never relent on exposing clinics such as this who take inordinate risks to maximize profits, all at the expense of the poor guys who put their faith and trust in them. Unfortunately you have some guys on here with decent progress who are completely blinded by the facts at hand and are fully immersed in the personality cult around Erdogan, but It would require olympic level mental gymnastics to not see that there is something very wrong with what is happening at Asmed currently. I will make an effort to make a large and detailed update this weekend with a digital camera like last time, again my apologies for leaving you hanging another week.
  9. Probably Koray training new techs on us so he could scale up his operation
  10. @nb98 Your head is firmly placed in the sand if you don't see a trend with recent poor Asmed results on this forum. I doubt it will affect his revenue stream, a lot of people barely do their research and even if they do they tend to stare themselves blind on the good results. Also it seems he is protected on this forum as discussions regarding his results are locked, I have myself been suspended for questioning some of Korays obvious lies. I keep thinking of where I would have been had I gone with a European or North American doctor, I have not seen anywhere near this ratio of awful results to good results with other clinics. I'm also at complete loss at how he could have used so many grafts in my frontal third. I see results from other clinics in the same area with 600-1000 less grafts used where the post op looks even denser than mine, how is that possible? I am positive some doctors would have gotten twice the results with even less grafts used, the thought is enough to drive you up the walls. The most infuriating thing here though is how unprofessional Koray has been in our email conversations, at one point even blaming me for the poor density because I reduced the graft number by 400 during our consult. As if 2800 grafts in 70cm2 with my hair thickness shouldn't have been enough, before that he claimed my donor was miniaturized. And even before that he outright ignored me for two months until I raised a big stink on the forums. It's fucking slimy as all hell. In any case, sorry for the lack of updates, I will post my 11 month this weekend with the good camera, until then pm me if you want pictures taken with my mobile camera.
  11. Since when? I am sure i read on the spanish forum that freitas does his own extractions?
  12. I thought de freitas did all the work? Are you saying he uses techs for extraction?
  13. I don't see any multis in this guys hairline, and while he could benefit with slightly added density it's still leaps and bounds above anything Asmeds nameless techs could ever hope to produce. Let's be honest here, it's laughable to even mention a hair mill FUE factory like Asmed in this context, OP actually had trained medical professionals operate on him during the entire procedure, unlike what's going on at Asmed where low salaried straight from high school 20 year olds with zero medical background are poking holes in your head.
  14. How is that an excuse? Even if you look past the hairline design and multigrafts in the hairline, the root issue here is that Asmed has terrible graft survival despite using inordinate number of grafts in very small areas.
  15. Are you sure you want to risk it mate? There are some amazing doctors in the us that can repair you, they have long waits and are expensive but well worth it to put this god awful experience behind you
  16. I don't want make you anxious because I see you recently had yours with Erdogan, but there are several recent results ranging from poor to unacceptable on this very forum.
  17. No mate, I will post my month 11 in ten days, no news until then except that the clinic is still ignoring me and i am trying to figure out how i can wear my hair to conceal my hairline while not exposing the gaping maw of low density on my left side. I think a crew cut might work with a fringe and toppik, kinda scared to cut my hair and too embarrassed to face my barber lol, she's probably expecting me to have a full head of hair now On a positive note I have consultations with two very good surgeons this year, hopefully they can tell me something about how many % growth I had as well as options for the future, I just hope like hell the scar tissue isn't bad enough to make surgery too risky. It will be a long wait until I can put this ordeal behind me but at least there is a plan now.
  18. Looks fantastic for naturalness, who was your second surgeon?
  19. He used to be, now he has over a dozen techs performing the most intricate parts of the surgery while he sits and looks at 9 small screens as if this counts as supervision. You will get a lot if disinformation and shilling for Erdogan so here are some hard facts: 1. There is no finesse to Erdogans hairlines, mine is littered with doubles and triples in the first two rows and you will see this in all of his work. 2. What are you paying for? Erdogan is barely involved in the surgery and there is a very real chance you will get an inexperienced tech team, this is just unavoidable considering how much he's scaled up his operation. 3. Erdogan quotes more grafts than any other surgeon you will consult with, try it yourself to find out. Either they are compensating for lower yields due to unskilled low paid techs, or they are simply trying to maximize how much money you spend there with no regard to your donor and future needs. 4. There are several questionable results and progress reports recently, all surgeons have them, but not of this magnitude, we can only assume there will be even more now that he is even further removed from the process and they have ramped up the number of surgeries per day. Simple fact is, when I open a progress report from Erdogan these days I don't know what to expect, there is no consistency there. In the end it is completely up to you to do the research, I certainly wish I had when I went with this guy.
  20. Really sorry about this man, looks like the techs might have overharvested your donor, and the growth is very lacking for the number of grafts in the area covered.. I know how it feels bro, pm me if you want to talk one unhappy Asmed patient to another
  21. Thanks for the response, did she show you any results in your consultation that were not on the website? I'm close to pulling the trigger with her, she seems very skilled from the few cases I've seen
  22. Yeah you're right, OP sorry for re-derailing. Really looking forward to your updates mate
  23. You yourself were derailing this thread by claiming a no-name turkish clinic would get criticized for the same procedure, which is preposterous as nothing with this level of skill and finesse would ever come out of a "no-name clinic" to begin with, or any recognized turkish clinic for that matter save for Keser.
