  1. After few years walking just with hat i went and had a HT six months ago. i am glad to see your 5 months picture and the other ones to see that the growth continue way after that time.
  2. Congrats on your HT mate. Looks awesome for 4 months. do your beard hair is very thick that they could use it?
  3. Wow, what a great transformation, beautiful.
  4. Hey SBSinNYC, congrats on your recent HT. in my opinion don't touch them at all and definitely do not pop them. i know it's annoying and sometimes they are in uncomfortable places but the best thing it's to ignore them, be very gentle while shampooing your scalp when you touch them. i read here that guys used all kind of creams, but i didn't want to rub anything on that area and just let it heal by it's on. good luck mate.
  5. Just wondering. is it better after washing the scalp to rub it good with a towel, rub it gently or just let it air dry if possible?
  6. They give you pain killers and something to help you sleep. was taking it just when things were unbearable completley.
  7. Hey madmaxwell, congrats on your coming HT. it's good you are staying for a week. the apartment is like 10 steps from the clinic so that's good, fully equipped with whatever you need. supermarket and food places about a minute away, you can order to the apartment as well. one of the best thing about staying a week is that if you do all the things the stuff tell you - spray those water on the recipient area all the time, use ice packs and massage your forehead (you will better understand when you be there) then by the end of the week you will be free of scabs and infection and barley get swelling. in the first few days i hardly believe you will go out, you will be tired, the donor area will hurt, you will get swelling, my advice, it ain't a trip, stay at the apartment, relax and recover properly, just don't forget to bring things to past the time. good luck mate.
  8. Hey payam, i was told you can't check a HT with wet hair, it's not an indication. besides you have much more than 2 months of growth. i was told until 10 month or so hair still growing, so don't lose hope, don't stress out, just try to ignore it for the meantime, that's what i do. wishing you more and more grow mate.
  9. Another tip if you are going through A HT. about the swelling. the swelling actually is the anesthesia fluid coming down from the scalp. in order to prevent it going down to your eyes use ice packs on your forehead and eyes. another thing is massage your forehead. put your fingers in the middle of the forehead and then "pull" the skin to the sides of the face, that way you actually drag the swelling to the side of your face and it won't go down to the eyes. despite that, in my case a little bit of swelling went down to the eyes, but nothing that cause me major discomfort. the eyes may take some colour, yellow at my case. it will seem like they are bruise, but it will go away after a few days. good luck.
  10. Hey guys, i grow wheatgrass only with water. squeeze and drink it. started using 0.2 mm roller pin on my thin crown area (had HT only at the third scalp) so not on the transplanted hair. since i don't use minoixi or any kind of drug i was wondering what do you think about putting some wheatgrass juice on the crown area after using the roller pin. could it cause damage, could it help? thanks.
  11. Another thing. let's say someone had a HT. he doesn't pleased with the results and going back for more or for touch ups. and they transplanted more grafts between the "old" transplanted hair, there is no native hair in the area. could it be a case of shock loss of that "old" transplanted hair? or transplanted hair won't shed forever (in most of cases). hope you understand what i mean.
  12. Looking right on track mate, happy growing. don't forget hat in the sun.
  13. Hey jj51702, congrats for decide doing a HT. i will try to answer as good as i can. 1. i found that a stiff neck pillow held my neck in the best way while sitting/lying in the 45 degree in the first few days post op. 2.i don't know, i am still using my shampoo gave to me by the clinic, but i think you should use a mild shampoo at the begining, maybe for the first month. 3.i was advised stop taking vitamins and caffeine about 1-2 weeks before op. the explanation regarding the vitamin C was that it thinners the blood and they don't want erupting blood while harvesting your grafts. 4.i stayed 8 days at the clinic. i was told to spray as much as i can, every hour, even half an hour sometimes. i did as i was told and i think by day 6 my scalp was free of scabs. i don't know if it is connected. 5. my guess, 2 days post surgery you would probably still have pain and probably swelling because of the anesthesia, so it depends on your feeling. 6.i was getting pain killers and something for sleep, maybe you will be provided that. good luck mate.
  14. Looked in a lot of products, don't know what to pick.
  15. Hey guys, correct me if i am wrong, but i noticed in almost every thread i read that almost everyone who had a HT procedure at the front of the scalp is doing another one. i don't mean a separate one to the crown but on the same front area, if it is a touch up or just another one. why is that?, one procedure can't be enough? and i see that phrase, illusion of density, so you can't get good density with a HT?
  16. KW877, use aloe-vera on the donor, it really worked for me, very soothing.
  17. didn't mean to start a debate don't delete you account, lot's of people here can use your experience.
